Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the buyers products heavy duty hitch pin. This is a five-eighths inch diameter pin. We've got about four inches of usable space. What I mean is from our hole here for our cotter pin out to where that curve starts, right about four inches, so have about four inches to work with there, so it is going to be ideal for those two and a half inch receiver tubes.
This is made of a heavy duty carbon steel construction, so it's going to be very durable. It's also got a yellow zinc plating on it to help resist any sort of corrosion, rust, anything like that. We've also got our cotter pin to help us keep this installed on our hitch so it's not going to wiggle out, it's going to stay in place and hold on our hitch-mounted accessories.Overall, simple device but very important and the heavy dutiness of this hitch pin is going to make it very usable for those heavy duty projects that you'd need that two and a half inch receiver tube opening for. I didn't need this pin. I wanted to order a pair of fenders for my trailer and the price worked out to $[XX].
This didn't meet the requirement of $[XX] minimum for free shipping so I asked the rep if If he would just price the order at exactly $[XX] free shipping. NO, we can't do that!
The guy was hard-nosed about it so I asked if he had another item for $[XX] that would build out the order. He grudgingly found the lowest priced item you had for sale and it was this $[XX] pin.
I keep the pin in my truck tool box and, every time I see it, I am reminded of your company.
The B&W hitch is nice, but with 4 pins to lock, there goes another $153 for the 4 pin lock set. Note that etrailer has the 4 pin lock set weight max at 14.4k and the factory says it is 18k.Will be towing later this week, I see no reason for any issues. I can see why the hitch tube is not solid, because if it was you’d need help to get it into the receiver.
Easy to use. Works well with the hitch reducer (2 1/2 to 2)

A wider Hitch Receiver than normal . I checked at other places for the longer pin . Get online with ETRAILER and Bingo Y'all had it . No fuss , no muss , prompt shipping . It just doesn't get any better than that . THANK YOU .

Great price heavy duty
Would have said zero, but. I knew the package was never coming after it sat at the first place for two weeks. No body there cared. They said just wait. Today 14 days after it was supposed to be delivered a note came in my mailbox from USPS saying sorry, the package was empty. Wonder if they are going to offer to replace what I ordered and FEDEX overnight? Doubtful.....

I see, I just did not think of that. We do carry a pin that is a little different that does have a twist pin. It is part # 325-GH-099.
I haven't had the chance to try the hitch on my truck yet, but I expect no issues. The package was received promptly and the ordering process was smooth. On initial inspection of the hitch I'll have to say I'm very pleased. This thing is built for business! I will continue to use trailer.

Hitch pin which seems well made and it fits properly in 5/8" cross-pin holes. Not much else to say.
Looks like high-quality machining on this hitch pin. It's a bit hard to get hitch pins for a 3-inch receiver, but this one fits perfectly. Great service by etrailer.
