The Hitch Plate with Receiver Tube from Buyers Products is designed to be ready to use so you don't need to spend time at the fabricators. It features an attached 2" receiver tube, 2 forged D-rings, and a pre-punched hole that fits most trailer electrical connectors. The 1/2" thick hitch plate includes ICC bumper protection and features a black powder coated finish for corrosion resistance. It should be both welded and bolted to the frame. The hitch plate fits Chevy/GMC model 3500 (not for pickups). Please consult the vehicle/chassis owner's manual before installing.

This was not well packed and arrived dented on the backside of the ICC bar and the powder coating was flaking off at that spot. Considering the heavy steel it's made of, it must've been hit pretty hard. Also, I asked prior to ordering for the plate that would fit my truck, specifically a '96 Chevy 3500HD commercial frame cab & chassis (you don't list my truck as a vehicle option) which has a completely different frame from the rest of the C/K line. A GMT-455 rather than a GMT-400. This plate was clearly not made for this frame, though my welder made it work and filled in some of the gaps, though left the top how it was. Had I known what I know now, I would've just had a custom plate made. Very disappointed in the condition as shipped and the fit, especially after first checking with you to be sure I ordered the correct part. But I needed it done and on the truck, so we made it work, but I would not buy another one.
Great product, well made. Fit perfect on my Square Body GMC cab & chassis.

Product is till holding up well and I work the truck pretty hard. Very happy with it.
Excellent fit. Very happy with quality. Made me a nice tow rig . Thanks
The paint finish leaves alot to be desired and thre is weld spatter everywhere.
We will have to prep and paint again after installation. I am requesting a partial refund.

I reached out to the manufacturer who advised that the HD series looks to have a different style than the CK line of the cab and chassis trucks. This is why it does not fit as seamlessly as it should have. I am working to have this information added to the product page as a tech tip.
