The Fabricators Hitch Plate from Buyers Products lets you build your hitch plate to meet your specific vehicle and needs. The 5/8" thick hitch plate features multiple pintle hook mounting positions and a trailer connector location. The hitch plate is welded to the frame. Included are 2 D-rings and weld-on gussets for custom placement.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Buyers Products fabricator's hitch plate. Now this fabricator's hitch plate'll let you build your own hitch plate to meet your specific vehicle needs. This hitch plate is commonly used on vehicles without a rear bumper like on dump trucks or tow trucks. Basically this hitch plate is welded to the frame using the included two weld-on gussets right here, and it will also include these two weld-on 5/8 inch size forged D-rings with the mounting brackets to attach 'em to the plate. This is a half inch thick plate, features multiple pintle hook mounting positions and the distance between these mounting holes for your pintle hook mounting plate from center to center, if we go horizontally center to center, 3 3/8 inches, and the holes center to center vertically, are 1 3/4 inches apart.
That is a standard size for most pintle hook mounting plates. If you notice up in the corner here, it has this opening. This is for a trailer electrical connector. This is a carbon steel construction, has a nice plain raw finish to it so you can, as soon as you get this, it's ready to be welded on. Once you get it all welded on, then you can prime it and paint it to match whatever you need.
Again, the thickness is half an inch. Dimensions on this is 34 5/8 inches wide by 15 5/8 inches tall. But that should do it for the review on the Buyers Products fabricators hitch plate..

I am extremely happy with the fit and function of this product. The installer was extremely happy with how well the kit worked. This was his first time installing a prefabricated one he usually makes them for customers. It saved him time which I like cause install cost less. etrailer was fantastic I never checked the package when I recieved it and did not know that it was missing the brackets to hold on the D rings until the installer called me. One email to etrailer with a picture of the destroyed box and they shipped the D rings. Fantastic customer service and a great product I would highly recommend this product and etrailer for all your towing and hauling products. My dump box sits 18 inches further out in the frame so he fabricated a extension for my truck.

UPS lost my 85 pound hitch plate..but managed to send me an "empty box"!!
Of course I called etrailer, told them what happened, that was it, They sent a replacement, with NO hassel. I enjoy doing bussiness with honest CAREING companies and this is ONE!! ( NO NOT, REPEAT NOt, UPS!!)

got it before the Biden commodity crisis inflation and go e trailer for everything, they are a good value. Cost me $200 to get it welded, couldn't even buy the steel for what I paid fo it.

This is a great product for a quality price. It arrived in less time then quoted and is exactly what the description said it was. Only suggestion I would have is to move the hole for the trailer plug to the center of the plate some more. Im very pleased and will be buying another one in the near future.

Quality hitch plate. Nice clean cuts and all around good product. D-rings seem a little light duty however, I’ll be using bigger ones instead of the included ones.

Product is working out well, Fabricated Ears for lights and additional fram support, cut in frame openings and 2 hole for reciever. after modifcations where complete and dry fit, used a phosphate wash and etching primer and two coats of implement paint, product is holding up well. works as it should. attached to 94 ford F-Super Duty F450.

That said, these are universal in design as the end product requires modifications to fit the exact application.
