Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a hitch plate with pintle mount. The hitch plate features multiple pintle hook mounting positions. It features the two forged D-rings and the pre inaudible 00:00:13 hole that fits most trailer electrical connectors. Now, this offers four pintle hook mounting positions, so position one, two, three and four so we've got a five-hole design on each side for a four-position mount. Those holes are separated on center side to side by 3-3/8 inches. Up and down they're separated on center by 1-3/4 inches and the D-rings on the unit are 5/8 of an inch thick.Now, the hitch plate is pre-fabricated and ready to use.
The unit is made from a durable carbon steel construction. It's a 1/2-inch thick hitch plate which includes the ICC bumper protection and features a black, powder-coated finish to resist rust and corrosion. Now, this should be both welded and bolted to the frame. You'll notice that it has the pre-drilled bolt holes on the side attachments, one, two, three, four holes on each side of the unit. It fits Chevy and GM 3500s.
Just consult the vehicle or chassis owner manual before installing.And this is for use with cab and chassis trucks with a nominal 34-inch frame width. The maximum gross trailer weight capacity is 20,000 pounds. The unit measures 63 inches long from this point here all the way over to this point and the channel, that's a C-channel, that's 3 inches wide and the front plate right here bottom to top is 15-1/2 inches tall. And again, this is designed to work with cab and chassis trucks with a nominal 34 inch frame width. That's going to do it for today's look at the hitch plate with pintle mount..

Built-in, side channel ICC bumper provides underride protection.Terrible packaging. Im not sure why they bother powder coating a trailer hitch if half the finish is off before it’s installed.
great product and free shipping was great noone else offers that for these.
was alil puzzled about the powder coating as the product gets both welded and bolted to achieve full weight rating.
other then that very high quality product and seems to be over built for the weight rating. i installed onto a 2000 chevy 3500HD to replace the original 7000# plate hitch
