Pressure-fit cap provides a waterproof seal.Easy to install after cutting holes to the template you need to download/print the .pdf installation instructions from the etrailer.com webpage. I did not expect the screws which come with it to secure in the steel bumper. Purchased screws and lock nuts to secure. Now I do not have an ugly plug hanging down!
Already had somebody notice it today after wondering what it was when looking at my steel bumper at a local store.
Supposed to get down below 32 degrees tonight so I will use it for the first time to keep my diesel engine warm.
The electric port itself is fine, however, the three screws which are supposed to hold in place needs work. IVe had an electric cart now for almost a yr. The original same port was there. The problem is that those three screws vibrate out and get loose causing the port to be loose and when trying to remove the electric cord from charging causes the wiggle struggle. The ground on the port itself broke off, thus the reason for my order for a new one. I have replaced the screws with small bolts the same size and included washer and nut to firmly hold in place.
Maybe you all could examine for further use? Just a suggestion. Thanks
I used this on my dump trailer so I could easily charge my battery without opening my lock box exposing the battery and hydraulic pump. Works great!! The adapter will receive a large plug end. See photos.
Was looking for a two way plug to serve as a shore tie port so that it wouldn't be necessary to cut off the plug end of my new onboard battery charger and then hard wire. This product achieved that objective, albeit with a short pigtail, which also allows plugging something else to the shore tie port. Straightforward installation.
It is made well and is exactly what I was looking for. It is installed on my 2017 Nissan Titan XD Diesel 4x4 pickup truck now for the diesel engine block heater power supply. I just have to take an extension cord and plug into the truck in when needed.
I used my ac plug port for the onboard charger on my golf cart. It works great, and looks clean. The only reason this is not a five star rating is because etrailer had a bit of trouble getting this product to me.

Easy to install. Convenient and works as intended to.
Very good product. Easy installation. Works great. Use in my 5x8 enclosed trailer with a power strip inside which includes USB ports for phone and such. Mounted under trailer and up front. Didn’t want to drill into the side however it comes with very robust weather proof gaskets so won’t be a problem for someone who needs on the side.
Definitely beats having your block heater cord hanging out of the bumper or grille. Part was initially on back order which I discovered after placing my order. The 5 star rating is more towards the company than the product. George J was very prompt on informing me of the situation and expected ship date. Its almost unheard of in the age of texhnology to actually receive a phone call to let me know. Keep up the good work guys! You have earned my business on customer service alone.

Very good deal on an AC port plug. I installed this on my enclosed trailer to run battery chargers while I'm not using it. The quality exceeded my expectations and installation was very easy.
