Seller web site did a good job indicating other suggestions on what would go with what you were viewing. So much so, I became dependent on it, and over looked the fact that the pin to hold the ball mount was not included in either the receiver or ball mount. I overlooked this and had to go out and buy this somewhere else. Other than that ordering was easy, and I received everything in a timely manner. It's worth noting that their tracking was dead on as well. It's nice tracking the progress of a package you are waiting for so you can plan your installation. And again, they do a nice job of following up letting you know they received, shipped the order and a link to follow it in transit.
Needed a simple ball mount to install a canoe loader. This one “fit the bill” at a reasonable price.
I had to return my hitch because the person that was supposed to install it for me fell through so I had to use somebody that installed their own hitches but I kept this ball mount even though the other one came with one because it is so much better for the same money. This is such a good product. Your shipping is amazing your people are helpful and were gracious even about the return of the other item. You did such a good job I would recommend your company to anyone. My nephew recommended your sight after his really good experience with your company and his business is using your hitches to pull trailers and they are performing well after several years.
Strong and seems to be well made and well finished. One-inch ball mounting hole. I used this for a Curt hitch mounted on a 2014 Forester and pulls a small Harbor Freight trailer. Perfect height and trailer is level. Warning - don't get their hitch pin, it does not have a hole for a cotter pin, only a weak clip that I would not trust.
Great product, fits perfectly, easy install, really nice looking too.
I did have to remove the muffler, not just let it down, to get to the heat shield but it was easy and quick and works great!
Thanks for being so attentive to my needs and getting me the right products.
Awesome!
Very nice, good quality ball mount. Will work great to tow my car trailer.
I searched the internet to put a hitch on my 2016 Chevy Equinox and found an instructional video from eTrailer.com where they installed on my exact car. I decided to go with eTrailer.com because they answered all my questions and because of the video-I support businesses that go the extra mile with these videos.
Shipping was quick and well tracked, however, the box was flimsy and the one end of the hitch had come out of the box side and the ball mount could have easily come out of that hole during shipping. If I were eTrailer.com I'd charge an extra couple of bucks for more sturdy boxes-people will still buy as eTrailer is a well-trusted brand and this would overcome a lot of the negative reviews you'll see on their site about this shipping issue in their own reviews :-)
I installed the hitch by myself (definitely recommend help as two people holding it up to the frame makes attaching 100% easier) in about 45 minutes total (out of the box, read instructions, review video again and installation complete). All hardware went on with no issues.
Great quality hitch! I also bought the lesser expensive wiring assembly because most recent equinox's come hitch ready with pre-wired assembly in the left side compartment-snap and done.
Picked up a new trailer at Home Depot within days and drove 5 feet and the clacking was horrible. I had always had a welded hitch before buying a hitch that took a ball mount. I really thought something was wrong and when I searched the internet that night it turns out this is very common. However, all you need is some sort of hitch "silencing" device. The number of options will drive you mad but I went with the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch and it did the trick for much less than most of the other options. If I were eTrailer.com I'd have that as one of the RECOMMENDED add-ons and explanation why its super-worthy when customers are buying a hitch. Would have saved me the time and hassle of dealing with it later and the extra shipping charge for buying after the fact when I got free shipping for the other items the first time :-)
All in all, I'm super, super happy with my hitch, wiring assembly, ball mount, ball mount locking pin and the hitch silencer.

Solid hitch!
Fastest delivery I have ever had. Ordered Wednesday at 5PM, arrived Thursday at 3PM. I'm only a couple hundred miles from Wentzville, but still, excellent. The hitch receiver (2008 Pilot) installed quickly and easily. No need to remove spare or lower muffler. I supported the left end on a large cooler and quickly maneuvered the right side above the tail pipes. The mounting holes were right on target. I had to tap mine to remove rust, but that's easy as well. The wiring harness was also a snapto install. Simple to plug into existing fitting and the wiring box tucked away nicely beneath the trim as advertised. There are options about what to do with the wiring tail and trailer connector. I chose the method shown in the video...leave it rubber-banded in the storage well. Others have run it outside through available holes, but I did not want to leave it exposed to road grime. etrailer's videos were very detailed and shown on my specific vehicle for both the hitch and the wiring harness. Good values as well. If I were Draw-Tite (or Curt) I would include a complementary rubber plug with their logo...cheap advertising.
Solid product. Haven’t had any issues with a year of casual use
After being told it would cost around $1300 to install a trailer hitch I figured I would just rent a truck if I needed to pull a trailer. When I saw your ad I was in but was concerned that it would be too complicated to install myself. I turned out to be super simple including the electrical wiring. I'm recovering from a knee joint replacement so was concerned I couldn't get where I needed to be to get the job done but it was a breeze. Everything works beautifully and is solid as a rock. Thanks for such an exceptional DIY product. Now if you have a hitch for my other car, a 1962 Willys Utility Wagon. I'd like one.
Solid, heavy ball mount.
Installed in 5 minutes.
Looks great and works excellent.
Thank you
One year later and I'm having no troubles at all with my Draw-Tite hitch and of course the ball mount is tough as could possibly be. I love and depend on etrailer for all my towing related needs. By the way, Courtney is super helpful!
The trailer hitch ball mount fits great. The floor mats for on the 2016 Honda Odyssey fits nicely and the color choice turn out nice.
Standard Shipping was fast and product was as described. The only recommendation, should included standard hitch pin to make this order complete.
The hitch was easy to install. So easy, that i have installed three more for friends. The instructions were clear and in each case, it took less time than I thought it would to finish the job. Each was installed in my driveway with basic tools.
The team and selection at etrailer.com is excellent and the Draw-Tite Draw-Tite Ball Mount Trailer Hitch Ball Mount purchased installed easily and the tech support team answered my questions in a timely manner and provided the support needed. I will certainly search their inventory for my future trailer needs.
Heavy duty product. The fit was perfect and now I can do some towing. The ball in the photo is one I had hanging around, so don’t mind the rust.
Since I bought a receiver you need a hitch for it. I buy everything on line I find it easier and more affordable then running all over the stores looking for the best price. ETRAILER has the best price, I even bought lights for my trailer and you couldn't beat the price any where. Two back lights 2 side lights and wire hardness for the trailer and for the truck, I think the price was a little over $25.00. You can't beat this price.

Great match! Easy to install. Better match than my wife! I should have got hitched with this hitch! Play time! ATV.
I installed the hitch myself, 2 people would’ve been easier. The ordering and shipping was fast and easy.
Solid, easily mounted and unmounted. Works with bike rack.
Great ball mount hitch for my 2017 Honda CRV. Adapts well for my use on a smaller trailer. I added an anti rattle clamp to secure things up as an added bonus.
The hitch was very easy to install, took about 30 min. It fits perfectly to my 2001 Ford Ranger. The tow bar is very sturdy and is very well made! The delivery was fast, I ordered it on a Monday, and it arrived on Friday.
I would most DEFINETLY recommend this to anyone who is considering this for a tow bar.
