Fastest delivery I have ever had. Ordered Wednesday at 5PM, arrived Thursday at 3PM. I'm only a couple hundred miles from Wentzville, but still, excellent. The hitch receiver (2008 Pilot) installed quickly and easily. No need to remove spare or lower muffler. I supported the left end on a large cooler and quickly maneuvered the right side above the tail pipes. The mounting holes were right on target. I had to tap mine to remove rust, but that's easy as well. The wiring harness was also a snapto install. Simple to plug into existing fitting and the wiring box tucked away nicely beneath the trim as advertised. There are options about what to do with the wiring tail and trailer connector. I chose the method shown in the video...leave it rubber-banded in the storage well. Others have run it outside through available holes, but I did not want to leave it exposed to road grime. etrailer's videos were very detailed and shown on my specific vehicle for both the hitch and the wiring harness. Good values as well. If I were Draw-Tite (or Curt) I would include a complementary rubber plug with their logo...cheap advertising. 430539

Sorry I did not write back sooner, it’s has been a busy October. I really like everything that I bought. So far I have only used the hitch for my bike rack. But I am planning on using a friends trailer for some yard work and home project jobs. I am a welder by trade and everything is well built and as expected, no issues with anything. I especially like how easy the electrical was to connect to the factory harness. My friend who owns the trailer recently bought another truck and with my recommendation he also purchased a trailer hitch and the other parts he needed from etrailer.com. I have recommended etrailer.com to literally everyone I know. I really like the products and will be a return customer.

Purchased a can of BP Blaster penetrating spray the day after I ordered the parts. I sprayed the weld nuts several times while waiting for the parts to arrive and it seemed to help loosen them up. My order arrived on time and I installed the hitch the next morning. I installed the hitch by myself ( I'm 67 years old), and while I admit that an extra set of hands would have been very helpful, the install was easier than I anticipated. I had all the parts I needed, the instructions were easy to follow and the online video was very helpful. I purchased the hitch in order to tow a trailer with a ton of wood pellets, instead of getting 1/2 a ton at a time (the capacity of my truck). Hopefully these products will solve my problem, only time will tell. 392664

Product as advertised. Wished I'd paid more attention to what was included and not included. Seller web site did a good job indicating other suggestions on what would go with what you were viewing. So much so, I became dependent on it, and over looked the fact that the pin to hold the ball mount was not included in either the receiver or ball mount. I overlooked this and had to go out and buy this somewhere else. Other than that ordering was easy, and I received everything in a timely manner. It's worth noting that their tracking was dead on as well. It's nice tracking the progress of a package you are waiting for so you can plan your installation. And again, they do a nice job of following up letting you know they received, shipped the order and a link to follow it in transit. 147675

Package was received with one corner of cardboard box crushed a bit but still intact. Missing from the box were the 5/8 pin and clip. Called customer service and discovered the issue was there were none in stock so those parts will be shipped when received at etrailer. Lady that answered the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. As for the hitch and ball, I’m sure it will perform as well as the one I had before I was rear ended in an accident. • Long Ball Mount and Hitch Extension for 2000 Ford Excursion with Dual Rear-Mount Spare Tires
The extra-long 2-inch ball mount we offer, part # 80232 from Draw-Tite, is 15-3/4-inches long and may give you the clearance you need at your dual rear-mounted spare tires to let you use a friction sway control unit like # 83660 on a bracket # RP26003. If you measure from the center of your hitch pin hole rearward 15-3/4-inches that point will be where the center of the hitch ball hole will be. Do note however that this ball mount is rated for 6000-lbs gross trailer weight and 600-lbs...

  • Is it Okay for Ball Mount to Move in Trailer Hitch Receiver Some
What you are describing is actually pretty normal for a ball mount. There is almost always some tolerance between the trailer hitch receiver and the ball mount (or accessory) being installed which is why there are a variety of anti-rattle devices out there. Some accessories and ball mounts come with them built-in but if you have a standard ball mount there are aftermarket anti-rattle devices you can use. Technically the tolerance you have is fine but if you want to get rid of it we do have...

We have both Class III hitches with the 2 inch receiver tube or the Class II with the 1-1/4 inch receiver tube available for the 2017 Terrain. I'll typically recommend folks go with the 2 inch, as there are more hitch mounted accessories available and there isn't much of a price difference between the two. I'd recommend going with the etrailer brand # e98865 Class III hitch because it's very competitively priced and is just as high quality as the offerings from Curt and Draw-Tite. For the...

  • How to Determined the Correct Rise or Drop Needed for a Ball Mount to Tow a Trailer Level
The best way to choose the correct ball mount before purchasing one is to take two measurements. The first measurement is going to be from the ground to the top of your trailer hitch receiver opening. That will be your hitch height. The second measurement is going to be from the ground to the bottom of your trailer coupler when your trailer is level. This is going to be your coupler height. I think the best and easiest to install hitch would be part # 13296 from Curt. It has a 600 pound tongue weight and 6,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. The wiring kit for the Aspen is part # 118390. It will plug in between your vehicle wiring and the tail lights to grab all the right signals. • Recommended Ball Mount and 2 Inch Trailer Ball for 2015 Toyota Tundra
Given the parameters you mentioned, it sounds like the Curt # C45030 would be ideal. The ball mount measures 7-5/8 inches long, measured from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hole where the ball would install. The ball mount is for a 2 inch receiver, offers 2-1/4 inches of drop or 1 inch of rise. For a 2 inch ball, I'd recommend the # 63845. If you need a pin and clip, use # PC3 or # e98882 for a stainless steel locking hitch pin.
