Adco AquaShed Cover Installed

You're worried about your Class A motorhome getting wet and dirty in storage before your next camping trip. Whether you're storing your RV in the rainy northwest, snowy north, or humid south, this weather-resistant cover is designed for use in extremely wet climates so your RV will be protected. When you keep your RV covered, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it in between trips. And if you want to trade your RV in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.

Adco AquaShed Material

The 3-ply SFS AquaShed top panel reduces moisture buildup that can damage your RV over time. It also beads water when it rains to stop it from pooling or freezing, which eliminate the black streaks and corrosion you tend to see on the sides and roof of your RV. And when the rain stops, the fabric dries quickly to minimize the development of mold and mildew. The top panel blocks the roof of your RV from mild sunlight as well, protecting the cover from cracking and fading.

How to Measure Your Class A Motorhome

Measuring Your Class A Motorhome

To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your RV from the front bumper to the rear bumper, making sure you're accounting for any spare tire carriers and ladders on the back. Then measure the overall height from the bottom of the RV to the top. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.

Securing the Cover onto Your RV

Adco AquaShed Cover Straps

The included ladder cap and rain gutter covers help prevent the cover from splitting on those areas of the RV, so install those first. Then unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your RV, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. The cover is labeled with "front" and "rear" to help you position the cover correctly on your RV.

Once the cover is in place, wrap the elasticized hem on the cover around the bottom corners of your RV and pull on the cinch ropes on the front and rear until the cover fits snugly around the contours of your rig. These remove any excess slack in the material, especially if your RV is slightly shorter in length. Then toss the weighted straps underneath your RV to the other side and buckle them together, which keep the cover secure on your RV and prevents it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job.

Adco AquaShed Cover Zippered Access Door

And if you still need to winterize or access one of the cargo compartments, you can use the zippered panels on the passenger's side to easily access the interior of your RV without having to completely remove the cover.

Video Transcript for Review of ADCO RV Covers - Storage Covers - 290-52207

Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our ADCO SFS AquaShed RV cover for a class A motor home up to 40 feet long. Now folks, these covers can shield your class A motor home from rain, snow, leaves, and those kind of things during those short term storages. Now it's gonna lessen the need for frequent washing, waxing, and even roof treatments by extending the life of the RV, and also help maintain its resale value. Now when it's installed, it'll look something like this image. Keep in mind the colors could potentially look different hues, different shades of gray, if you will, just because of the fabric, and sometimes they get different tones and whatnot.

But primarily it's gonna be light and dark gray. Here's an image of what you're gonna get inside the box, some weighted straps, the cover, a cinch bag, some repair patches, and those four little guys in the middle that are gray, those are actually ladder cap and rain gutter covers to keep you from puncturing through the cover itself on those sharp points. Now this is a weather resistant three-ply SFS AquaShed, and it's gonna eliminate the interior buildup of mold and mildew. Now this will block mild sunlight and it can cause, or it can block mild sunlight that could cause cracking and fading. Now water's gonna beat up on this, just like it would on like a wax car or something, and it's gonna prevent pulling and freezing, 'cause there's bead upon contact and roll right off.

Now it's got triple-ply polypropylene side panels that are gonna prevent the RV from getting dirty, stained, and scratched. And that nice gray sidewall design is just a nice contemporary look. Now I've got this hung up kind of on its side just so number one, I could hang it with the straps from the ceiling today for you, and kind of give you the best visual I can with the limited space we have. Now, before we get too more into the features, again, this is for Class A RVs that are 37 feet, one inch to 40 feet long. The overall dimensions of this cover are 40 feet long, eight feet 10 inches wide, and 11 feet tall.

Now to determine if this is gonna work for yours, you wanna measure the overall length of your RV from the front bumper to the rear bumper. Be sure you're counting those spare tire carriers on the back and ladders on the back as well. Then measure the overall height from the top of the RV to the bottom, not to the ground, but to the bottom. Do not include AC units, vents, antennas. The cover's already designed to accommodate those kind of things.

Now, zooming in up here on the corner, you're gonna have reinforced elastic hems and they're gonna stretch over the corners of the RV for a snug look. You got integrated straps and ropes to prevent it from flapping and flying in the wind. Again, you got a darker gray and a lighter, and I'll be honest with you, in person with my eyes, this looks much lighter than even what I'm seeing on the screen. So again, just keep in mind the colors and the lighting can look different in person. You've got your straps, it's all webbing strap. You got your clips, clip it together, you can cinch it tighter. Again, this is on its side, that would be up and down, but just a nice fabric that's lightweight, breathable, it's got breathable built-in vents to reduce the interior buildup of mold or mildew. You've got zipper panels on the passenger side to give you easy access into the RV. So again, I hung it up on its side so you can kind of see one of those. And again, there's another zipper, so many feet past this. You got hook and loop that holds that together down there once you've unzipped it to then open that whole panel to get inside the RV. Nice zippers, they work really easy. You're also gonna get a storage bag. So when you're done using it, you wanna fold it all up, roll it up, put it inside this bag. I'm six foot two. And you can see this is a very big bag. So again, the cover's big, it's lightweight fabric, but when you get that much fabric, it's gonna get kind of heavy. So you're gonna wanna have another person, extra set of hands helping you. You're gonna get a couple of these weighted straps. They have weights inside of 'em. Those are gonna be for the underbelly or the underside under the RV to help secure the cover side to side, and keep it from flying up and everything. You're also gonna get, like I mentioned in the image before, the ladder cap and rain gutter covers to help cover those sharp points from tearing. So think about like a pool noodle, if you will. It's that same kind of like foam, but a lot better quality, obviously, of foam, and then that fabric, and again, as you can see, this fabric looks really light gray, but when you hold it against that one, it almost looks the same. So again, the lighting and stuff makes this fabric look different shades of gray. So again, if you get something and it looks a little off from what you're seeing on the screen today or on the photos, that's the reason. It just kinda looks different in the light. Well, folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up. We went through a lot of information real quick. I wanna thank you for sticking with me. Again, this is what I can show you with the limited space I have. This is the ADCO SS SFS AquaShed RV cover for the Class A motor homes up to 40 foot long. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
