Today we're going to take a quick look at the Patrick Distribution RV handheld shower head with shutoff. Now this comes in this parchment color. It's kind of like an off-white color and overall I think that this is going to be an easy way to replace your shower head and hose in your RV. Not a lot of bells and whistles to this kit, but it does get you a easy replacement.We'll have the lever on our shower head to turn the flow of water off. You can turn it off by pushing that to either direction. There is a little embossed label there so if you forget which way it goes, it does tell you there.
It's a little hard to see since it's just sort of embossed on there, so might be a little difficult to read at a later time. But that option does let us shut off the water so you don't have to worry about any spilling out when we're on the road. Don't have to worry about wasting any of your water, which is always precious.The hose itself is going to be five feet long or 60 inches. Again has that off-white parchment color. And whenever we connect this to our shower head, it does come with two seals to go on either end of that to provide a more tight connection.
But just for demonstration purposes, I'm going to thread that on there.This portion is what's actually going to sit in our shower had bracket, so have that mounted onto the wall and that fitting on the end is what actually seats inside there and holds our shower head. It holds pretty well, but we'll also get our hose holder and that installs a little ways underneath the shower head bracket, provides a little bit more stability for the shower hose. Some people don't like to use that bracket since it does kind of cut down on how far out you can pull your shower head and if you're trying to wash your hair it might make it a little bit more difficult. So again, this does keep it more stable, but you have kind of a trade off there.We do get enough hardware to install both brackets. We'll get four screws and four anchors to go into our wall.
So it would be installed somewhat like that. The hose holder going a little bit further down and that does fit over your hose so you'll want to put this in place with the hose going through it before you get everything all connected. The flow rate for our hose is going to be 2.5 gallons per minute. Has a plastic construction for our shower head and the brackets. And overall, again, it's a pretty basic kit.
It's going to replace your original shower head and hose if it got damaged or started to get a little mildewy or whatever might be the case. But if you wanted an upgrade you might want to go with something else. I think that for the price you can't really beat it and pretty easy to install.As far as the length of our shower head itself, ignoring the threads on there, it's going to be about seven and a half inches long, and the widest point of the shower head is going to be about two and a half inches wide. And then it's going to be about one and a quarter inches deep.And that's gonna do it for our look at the Patrick Distribution RV handheld shower head set with shutoff.

Perfect OEM replacement
A lot better quality than I was expecting the photos on this website make it look very flimsy all the plastic is quite rigid I'm surprised how strong the small pieces are and that it came with all the hardware I need to install there's only one part I'm not happy with is the small ring for the hose has some small cracks in the center of the part doesn't look like it will affect the strength (it's very strong for such a thin piece of plastic) the cracks will be up against the wall when installed so i won't see them the hose is flexible I don't see it causing me a problem I live in a trailer full time so I'm happy with the quality of everything I have purchased and the price is the same if not cheaper then a house shower fixture

cheryl m - 08/20/2018The shower head was easy to install. When you close the shutoff switch it stops the flow of water quite well. The hose is shorter than the hose on our old showerhead. Other than that we are quite happy with this product.
Rebecca - 02/16/2020If your shower head is locking up due to hard water build up, I suggest using white vinegar to clean it. This should free up the hard water deposits.

I don’t usually write reviews however I ordered this product and when it came in it was so easy to install I did it all by myself with out even asking my husband! Small issue with the switch that turns the shower head on and off was that it was stuck but I was able to free it and it only slightly sticks now.
Exactly what i needed,always great service along with quality parts . Highly recommend!
