This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
This radial ply tire from Westlake is constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords for increased durability. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation.
The standard tread on this tire has solid, continuous ribs, and there are very few sipes (or thin grooves) cut into the rubber. This tire is designed for use on trailers, so it doesn't require the level of traction that would be needed on a vehicle that is braking or steering.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

I like to travel with 2 spares, and I want one of them to be new so if I do get a flat, I can continue my trip with confidence. So I bought another wheel/tire assembly. The load range D is also an extra confidence booster. I know I am very safe with these tires.

The wheels are made in the USA, the tires in China. Most tires are. The silver powder coat on the wheels looks great. Powder coating is one of the best finishes for steel. I have powder coated lots of the parts on my off road car with good results, so that is why I chose wheels with this finish. I will be going on a trip this thanksgiving, and will follow up with another review after that first use of these wheels/tires.

I have made 3 trips to the desert this past year towing my enclosed trailer containing my off-road car. My combined rig is over 50 feet long and the peace of mind knowing I have all new tires is priceless. These wheels and tires performed flawlessly Thank you
During a long trip down a gravel road in New Mexico we had a flat on our travel trailer, and as I changed to the spare I knew we had an equally long distance to go, now with no spare. So when we got home I ordered another spare, and etrailer had the identical spare on my vehicle for a good price. Because we travel a lot on backroads, it won't be such a bad thing to have more than 1 flat now.

Having 2 spares in the regions we travel is a must. The extra spare is still in excellent condition, and hoping not to get used anytime soon. Preventative medicine is a good idea.
Wheels and tires were easy to find. The video explaining the specs was helpful.
Easy to order and delivery was on time.
Purchased a new tire and wheel, tire was manufactured 16 months prior to sale. With todays timelines for replacement that makes that a used tire by my standards. Well at least I paid a new price!!

For all intents and purposes that is a young tire. It will be made, sit in a warehouse for a few months, be loaded onto a cargo ship and cross the ocean that will take a month or more, if it gets into port right away and unloaded it will make it to another warehouse and sit there until loaded and shipped via rail or truck to another warehouse to sit and wait to be bought or sent to a vendor then sold to you. All that said the warranty doesnt start until you buy it.
As advertised, and fit perfect. Can’t wait to try the tires out.
The delivery was prompt and the packages arrived in good condition. The tires appear to be in perfect condition and as advertised. The package tracking was informative the whole way. I would definitely consider etrailer.com as my first choice when i need any parts or accessories in the future.

Another 3 trips this year without any problems. I try to purchase trailer tires that have a load rating double my weight. This has been part of my success in towing.
