Could not have been any easier to attach. I was done in less than 20 minutes. Although i didnt have a bumper installed - I was rear eneded. Shipped fast and the customer service department was excellent - I ordered the wrong ball at first.

2002 Dodge Ram Pickup
I received my hitch in less than a week. I was very impressed with the build quality and it fit my 2002 Dodge Ram perfectly. The instructions were great. I was most impressed by the wire fish tool that came with the hitch. This screwed onto the end of 2 bolts and allows you to fish the bolts thru the frame and out 2 frame holes. I have installed other hitches that left it up to you to figure out how to accomplish this task on your own. This tool plus the legible instructions really won me over.

I am extremely happy with this solution. The instructions were well thought, just like the design. I installed this hitch in about 25 minutes and the fit and finish is perfect. 2002 Dodge Ram Pickup
I bought a used Dodge pickup a few years back but it didn't have a hitch on it. I took it to a few different shops and asked them what it would take to get a hitch put. For some reason no one knew what to do. Then I, by chance, punched up "Installing Hitch on Dodge" on youtube and etrailer came up right away and explained exactly what I needed and how to put it on. Of course I got on the website and everything was right there ready to order. Super easy and clear. Package arrived today and I test fit it today. It's perfect. I was apprehensive to install this as I was used to the "traditional" receiver hitches...... I was pleasantly surprised at how robust it was built and the quality of it…… the install took me less than 30 minutes (including fishing the bolts through the bumper support arm). I installed it with the Hopkins (#37185) 7 pole and 4 pole trailer light kit that fit right in the hole in my bumper (2002 Dodge ram)…. Makes for a nice setup.

- Will the Curt Hitch 13326 Replace the OEM Hitch On a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 SLTYes, if the build date on your 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT was before 11/2002 (see door jamb sticker) then the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13326 will replace the factory trailer hitch which is held in with four bolts. I confirmed this with Curt for you. If you have a build date after 11/2002 then you will need to use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13361 instead as you technically have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT style undercarriage. I havent used the hitch hardware much but I like it. The tailgate is the star. I like it a lot and the open design makes parallel parking in the city so easy. I also get a lot of questions and nice comments about the look.
