Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located just behind the rear bumper.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

This harness greatly simplified the trailer wiring process. It was very nice to be able to plug into the factory receptacle on the 4Runner, without having to go through the process of tapping into the individual tail lights.
Plug and play. Hitch was placed on a board and jacked up to meet the bolt holes. Remounted the two tow hooks. Not a lot of extra threads but they all fit perfectly. Glad I had an impact. Wiring had to remove protective cap and plugged in. 4 runner already had a fuse in the box. Bought the 4 flat plug mount but drilling up into hitch proved to be to much so just used a good hose clamp to secure the plug. Also more adjustable wire length if needed.
Easy to install, fit great and no problems so far after 1 year.
Bought RX300. Took it to my garage for checkout and service. They installed trailer harness incorrectly so brake light would not work. Reading etrailer product description and instructions to see if car had a towing package, found plug where they said to look. Ordered part, installed it, connected to trailer and all functions worked perfectly. Only problem that needs correcting is spare fuses only had a 25 amp and not 20 amp so used that for checkout in towing slot. Will need to get some 20 amp fuses next time I go to town.
I would give etrailer 10 stars for clear instructions that I could use before I ordered part, easy to order, good delivery tracking info, and follow up after order delivery. Will always check this site for trailer issues from now on.

Excellent. Wish I had looked at your site before taking it into get it fixed. Would have saved me With your advice and harness it was an easy fix.
Hitch and light pigtail were ordered. Draw Tite round tube Hitch was a perfect fit and on in less than an hour. Lights: Easiest hook up ever! Lights were working in minutes after opening the box. Perfect online ordering experience!

Was a perfect fit for my 2001 Rav4!
This trailer connection was plug and play on my 2002 RX300. Took less than a minute once I was on my back under the car. I just unplug when I am not pulling a trailer.

Harness has held up with no corrosion or wires breaking. I use the hitch about 4 times a year making sure to replace the cover over the connection when not in use.
Bought this to replace my factory Toyota harness that had broken in a spot I couldn't easily splice back together. This fit the factory plug, and while not an exact factory duplicate, it fits well enough in the bracket intended to hold it under my hitch well enough that I'm not too worried about it falling out. My 4runner came equipped with a tow package, so it was plug-and-play. No need to add an additional fuse or make any other modifications. I've used it several times pulling trailers and everything worked as it should right out of the box.
Excellent!!! Received the trailer attachment right away. Wasn't sure what I needed but the website helped me to find exactly what I needed based on the stock information on my vehicle. Helped my confidence in the purchase.

I first went to local supplier to purchase the hitch and their price was over twice as expensive compared to etrailer and the closest install time they could provide was several weeks. I then went on line and found etrailer. They delivered within 1 week and at a great price. The hitch and wiring was easy to install and it's been trouble free for over a year. The wiring harness was a perfect fit to the factory trailer connector on my 2002 Lexus RX 300. The universal brackets for the plug allowed me to securely mount the plug on my round tube [vendor] hitch. I found the factory plug in the exact location shown in the video. Although installing these items is not rocket science, the videos relating to them saved the time that could have been spent figuring it out. All in all a 15 minute job.
First time ordering from this site, but with strong recommendation from my hitch installer. The wiring harness performed as recommended and I really appreciated the fact that a fuse was included in the package. I highly recommend this product and i would purchase other towing related product from this site without hesitation.
Excellent product, plug and go on my 2002 Toyota Highlander. Make sure you have the right receptacle under the cover of your highlander and you should be all set.
Also, MAJOR KUDOS to Bill E at etrailer, who, on a sub-$20 order made me feel as important as a million dollar customer. I had some concerns about delivery time, and he kept an eye on things for me, kept me informed with several emails and calls. Who does that on such a low dollar order except Bill E at etrailer? I will NEVER go anywhere else.
It was easy to install. My only complaint would be the cord was way to long for my application.

Wiring harness was easy to install. Made attaching the four pole flat trailer connector a snap.
My 2002 Lexus RX300 needed a new trailer harness and I couldn't be happier with the one I ordered here. Part was mailed the same day I ordered and was an exact match. Just plugged it in and was good to go.
Product works great. Despite the claims to the contrary, I took the risk and bought it and it fits in my 2003 Tacoma with factory installed hitch. Only took 15 minutes to install. It would be great to include zip tape with the product to help with the install.
If your Lexus is equipped with trailer tow package, then
this is the way to go. It puts trailer electrical load on separate fuse
from auto and definitely beats hacking into auto wiring. Both
big pluses.
Installation was a breeze and exactly like the instructions stated. Installation on my 2002 RX300 AWD/4WD required only a 10mm socket for the black box cover under the car and a zip tie to secure the wire bundle. Great product and it doesn't get any easier than this.
Love it, works great, good quality and good price. It claims it’s for a 3rd gen 4Runner but fits in perfectly in my 1st gen tacoma. The wires are a little longer than they need to be but it works perfect because i have accessory brake and turn signal lights to plug in so it’s awesome!
2002 Toyota Land CruiserSo easy and OEM Quality, one note on my Land Cruiser it had a blank dust cover plugged into outlet that harness needed to plug into. Once I removed that blank and plugged in new harness I was good to go. Whole project including mounting bracket I ordered took 10 min. including testing operation.
Order came quick. Superior heavy duty packaging. Everything I ordered was in perfect condition and all accounted for. I would highly recomend etrailer.com. The added benefit is th installation videos on their web sight.
I went to several places and was finally told by a Toyota dealership that the part I needed was discontinued and good luck, find it online. I stumbled onto Etrailer online. I found what I needed and got it in 24hrs. I would recommend Etrailer to anyone that needs parts and accessories for towing Etc.
