To get an attachment point on your RV for a quick-disconnect hose, just attach the pipe thread end of this connector to the 1/4" male NPT end of a supply hose mounted under your RV. Depending on your setup, you will need extra fittings, adapters, or hose to complete the project.

I ordered a lp gas quick disconnect for my outdoor stove this time, it arrived ahead of time, was exactly as described ( and just what I needed) and at an reasonable price.

i liked the availability from you and the pricing, i never got to complete my project as on a camping trip my friend had an issue with his system and i utilized all the parts to fix his instead - so now i need to rebuy them, i guess that was a deal of and above the original intent!!
Items arrived in good time. We are looking forward to running our griddle off of the motorhome LP tank, after installing the shutoff on our class a motorhome.
Quality-looking part. All brass and steele. Haven't had a chance to install and test it yet.
The USPS took an annoyingly-long time to deliver the parts (2 weeks from Missouri to Texas!), so if you have an alternative service to use, I'd take it!

Still working great! Super easy to install and use. I wrap the rubber end plug with a rag to prevent the sun from beating it up while sitting in my driveway, so hopefully that extends the life of the rubber plug.

Why did I buy this QD by MD Sturis when I could have purchased a similar item, but not made in the USA, at a much lower price from a huge on-line store? MD Stugis, made in the USA. The QD was adapted to mount directly on a single tank regulator that I recently removed to our travel trailer in order to upgrade to dual tanks. This QD makes it very convenient to hook to our griddle and then to store after use. I also use the griddle with our travel trailer that has a remote QD connection, so I don't have to take an extra tank, just the supply hose.

Always quality products.
The 1/4" Ball Valve Quick Connect x FPT - 104052 MBS is a high quality valve with a S.S. ball and positive shut off, The valve action is very smooth. The valve handle when open will not let the quick connect sleeve move back and disconnect the LP hose. Many valve of this type do not have a dust cap, a dust cap on this valve in the location that is being used is very important.

This is what happened...a shredded tire on the travel trailer ripped a gas connector from my unit. The MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Connector - 1/4" FPT was a perfect replacement that has worked great.

Great as expected. Best is buying the male and female parts from the same manufacturer as they always match and your project is successful.
I bought this to use to hook up my Weber grill to the propane port on my motorhome. Seems to be very good quality. Chose this one because it is made in the USA.

Still working as it should, no problems
Purchased before and it works great. Safety feature is simple enough and works well. As long as you buy MB Sturgis quick disconnect parts, they fit perfectly.

Still doing the job without problems. Bar BQ is used at home as well as camping. Reliability is found in keeping the mating equipment by the same manufacturer and making sure the products are of high quality.
Handy fitting to get a high pressure line off the propane cylinder without disconnecting it.

The item in question was a known quantity, a familiar item from a familiar manufacturer, and I am happy with it.
I am writing to recommend etrailer.com as an excellent vendor with good prices, fast turnaround, a good customer service team, and no nonsense.
Needed a way to have a quick disconnect inside my home so I could move a 30,000 bent free space heater from basement to garage but could not find anything at any stores that would work. So I purchased a hose and two of these and hooked them to 1/4 black pipe connector and works great.
Looks like it will do the job of connecting to my gas grill and then either to my house propane supply or to a 20 lb. propane bottle via some female 1/4 quick disconnects and some assorted fittings.
Works as expected.
I use use them once a week on my home coffee roasting setup and daily in the spring on my maple boiling setup. Great quality and tolerances. easy to use. Always a good mate.
wrong size, wouldn't fit my generator hose or my fitting on the gas line. Could not use. I need a 1/2" fitting on both ends.

That is not good to hear. It looks like we only carry 1.25 or 1 inch adapter fittings. Lets get you over to our customer service to work on getting you a return set up.
Simple update to the gas-line that already existed under my Toy Hauler.
Now I can hook up my 3-burner gas stove or my mini BBQ without having to verify that I have a LP tank filled and ready to go. I simply just use the LP tanks on the trailer instead.
Exactly what I wanted and needed to finish a quick connect between my 5th wheel tanks and my Coleman grill. Easy to order, easy to track and arrived on time. Great experience.

I used this product to create a connector hose to allow me to use my low pressure stove with a 5 gallon propane tank at my home for picnics, canning etc. its working out perfectly. Thanks again etrsiler!
