This propane hose is ideal for travel trailers with a split-tank system. This kind of system features 1 cylinder on the driver's side and 1 cylinder on the passenger's side of your trailer. This hose connects the cylinder on the passenger's side to a high-pressure regulator. An additional hose (sold separately) will then carry the propane from the high-pressure regulator to the 2-stage regulator on the driver's side of your trailer.

As a result, this pigtail will help to ensure that your propane setup will be able to power all of your appliances, even if they require high-pressure gas.
Type 1 connectors go into bypass mode if the flow rate surpasses the maximum flow capacity for that connector. When maximum capacity is reached, a ball inside of the fitting will push an internal spring down and press firmly against the bottom of the fitting to shut off the flow of gas. This MB Sturgis dark green Type 1 connector not only provides a higher flow rate compared to cylinder connectors of different colors, but it also offers a higher rate when compared with dark green cylinder connectors from other manufacturers.

The factory hoses were just a tad bit short and one developed a leak at the hose crimp. These longer hoses take all of the strain out of the fittings.

Needed two longer propane hoses for our camper due to installation of new and bigger propane tanks and they fit perfectly. Had a difficult time finding them until I found these from a very large selection on etrailer.com. Very happy with the quality. Thank you.
The prosses went well and delivery was early thank, I have not used the hose but in the fall I hope to use it to extend our gas use as we turn the heat on in the RV it has a small gas tank and this hose should help with our external .

This hose, plus a male quick connect and a 90 degree elbow make a great accessory for the Sturgis tee with quick connects. Using the elbow makes the hose easy to connect in tight places.
