  • Towing Capacity of a 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4.0 Double Cab 4x4 with Factory Tow Package
  • I can help you out, no problem. What you are going to want to look at is the towing capacities of the truck. You need to know the gross combined weight rating. This is the most the vehicle, including cargo and occupants, plus the trailer can weigh. This information is usually in the owners manual or on a sticker in the door jamb. Looking at an online copy of the owners manual the 4 liter V6 model of the 2013 Toyota Tacoma with 4-wheel drive could have one of several capacities depending...

  • Experiencing Bounce When Towing 24 FT Pull Behind Trailer w/ 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
  • There are a couple things that come to mind that may help with the bounce that you are experiencing when towing the 24 ft pull behind trailer with your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I would start by checking to make sure that your trailer isn't overloaded. Next, make sure that the tongue weight is between 10 and 15 percent of the overall trailer weight. Not enough weight in the tongue can cause bounce in the truck/trailer connection and too much weight could cause bounce at the back of...

  • Suspension Enhancement Product Recommendation for 2015 Silverado 1500 Towing 8500 lb Travel Trailer
  • The SuperSprings product will somewhat help with the bouncing you're experiencing, but I'd recommend that system more for preventing rear end sag and sway. For what you're experiencing, I'd recommend either an air bag system or a Aeon Spring set up that would replace the factory bump stop on your truck. Either type of system has its advantages and disadvantages. An air bag system allows you the ability of infinite adjustment by adding or removing air from the system. However, you'll...

  • Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement for 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Motorhome
  • For your Coachman Motorhome with a 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Chassis, I recommend looking at the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-338-47 for the rear axle. These 3,000 pound capacity springs will support a heavy load to level your ride and minimize sway. Although the units provide progressive load control, these are maintenance-free springs, which means you will not need to adjust or monitor them like you would with air springs. I have attached the installation details...

  • Suspension Enhancement to Improve Ride of a 2015 Thor Hurricane on a Ford F-53 Chassis
  • If your 2015 Thor Hurricane is rated for 27,000 pounds gross vehicle weight then the SumoSprings # SSF-182-54 are not recommended. They are recommended for models rated for 18K to 26K. I recommend going with the Timbren springs # TFRF53A for models rated over 26K. There are other things that you can do to vastly improve the ride quality of your RV. Adding or upgrading the anti-sway bars is one thing that will greatly improve stability. For the front I recommend # RM-1139-140. For the...

  • Which Sumo Springs Fit an Allegro RV Built on a 2014 24K Rated Ford F-53 Chassis
  • For your Allegro RV built on a 2014 Ford F-53 chassis you have some options for front and rear helper springs. For the front, it you want an upgrade for the bump stops and is a top attachment only you can use # SSF-182-54. However, the capacity on these springs is 2,800 pounds which may be a little light. For more support I recommend a top and bottom connection # SSF-183-40-1 which is also rated up to 4,600 pounds. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you. For the...

  • Color Choices of # SSR-610-40 Sumo Springs for 2011 Toyota Tundra
  • The # SSR-610-40 Sumo Springs by Super Springs are only available in blue, as shown on our product page. They would replace the factory bump stop, located directly atop the leaf spring over the axle, so they're not going to be visible from the side. Timbren offers a similar product in black, part # TTORTUN4.

  • How to Select Weight Distribution/Sway Control System for 36-Foot 9000-lb Travel Trailer
  • Friction bar anti-sway systems work better on smaller and lighter trailers although doubling up with two units can work satisfactorily with some longer trailers. Still, the performance of an integrated weight distribution/sway control (WD/SC) system will beat simple friction units any day of the week. I suggest you first install a properly-rated WD/SC system, before making mods to your truck's suspension, since you may find that you do not need the Superspring kit at all. The key to...

  • SUMO Springs Recommendation for 2016 Tiffin 35QBA
  • I looked up your 2016 Tiffin Allegro 32SA on a Ford F-53 chassis and it weighs in at 24k so the correct Sumo Springs would be part # SSF-180-40-1 for the front and part # SSR-187-54-1 for the rear.

  • Recommended SumoSprings For Rear Axle Of A 2017 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4
  • The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle, # SSR-610-40, are great jounce springs with a capacity of 1000 lbs at 50% compression. The # SSR-610-47 that you are referring to is a heavier-duty application with a 1500 lb capacity at 50% compression, and I recommend these if you will be doing a lot of hauling since they have a much stronger capacity, but for occasional hauling the 1000 lbs springs are more ideal and won't give as bumpy a ride when unloaded. These springs are...

  • Will the SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs Fit on a 2003 GMC Yukon XL With Coil Springs
  • I spoke with my contact at Super Springs and the SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs, # SSR-204-40, will fit on your 2003 GMC Yukon XL with coil springs as long as it is a 1500 model. These springs are designed to replace your factory bump stops. Once you remove your factory bump stops these springs will slide into the bump stop mounting location. The installation instructions are included in the box. I have attached a photo showing how the SumoSprings will look once installed.

  • Recommended Rear Helper Springs for a 2016 Ford F-150 4x4
  • Based on the weight of the trailers and the type of terrain you will be driving on I do recommend the SuperSprings helper springs # SSR-117-47 for your 2016 Ford F-150 4x4. These springs are designed for models with stock height (not lifted) and for models with a gross vehicle weight rating of 7,500 pounds. The ride quality, especially when loaded and/or going over bumps on rough terrain, will be much improved using these helper springs.

  • How to Install SumoSprings Custom Rear Helper Springs # CSS-1168R on a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab
  • SumoSprings Custom Rear Axle Helper Springs # CSS-1168R are a good choice for your application since they will provide progressive resistance as the load on them increases, and unlike complex air bag systems these Sumo helper springs require zero maintenance. I have attached the installation guide for your review. These include clear step-by-step instructions and excellent color photographs. You will need a floor jack, 2 jack stands and 4 wheel blocks for safe installation. Soapy...

  • Rear Helper Springs for a 2016 Toyota Tundra with B&W Gooseneck Hitch Installed
  • I do have a solution for you but because of the way that the B&W gooseneck hitch brackets install on the frame rails of the 2016 Toyota Tundra none of the air bag helper springs will fit. What I recommend is to use SuperSprings # SSA4 because they will not interfere with the gooseneck hitch at all. Or, if you what a little more capacity and more adjustability you can use the Roadmaster active suspension kit # RAS4618AT. I have linked a video of this system for you.

  • Will SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1168R Reduce Trailer Sway on 27-Foot Travel Trailer
  • The SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1168R that you referenced are the only rear-axle suspension enhancement we offer currently for your 2007 Ford Expedition. These rear coil helper springs are designed to minimize rear-end squat in the tow vehicle, but really will not have much effect on trailer sway. They may improve vehicle ride quality when you are not towing by providing progressive resistance to support cargo loads in the truck but they will not have a significant effect...

  • Dimensions of the Sumosprings part # CSS-1195R
  • I spoke to my contact at SumoSprings and she gave me the dimensions of the par # CSS-1195R that you referenced. The most important dimension would be the distance between the grooves of the spring as that is what fits between the coils of your vehicle. That dimension is 1.95 inches. That is why the part number ends with 195 actually. The overall diameter from the outside of the spring is 6-5/16 inches. The overall height is 3-1/4 inches.

  • Rear Helper Springs for a 2016 Ford Transit T250 Cutaway with KUV Utility Body
  • The chassis on your 2016 Ford Transit T250 cutaway is the same as the cargo van models so you can use SuperSprings # SSA11. But what I recommend that will work just as well and that costs less is the SumoSprings # SSR-121-54. They will help keep the van level, absorb road shock, and reduce sway or body roll.

  • Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Rear Axle - 2010 Subaru Outback
  • The SuperSprings Coil SumoSprings would be an excellent addition to your 2010 Subaru Outback Wagon to help reduce sag when you are carrying your motorcycle. Once the SumoSprings are installed, they will not raise the rear of your Outback. They are simply there to keep the rear coil springs from compressing as much when there is a load. To answer your second question, the difference between the SumoSprings, part # CSS-1069R and part # CSS-1094R, are their size. The number in the part...

  • What Suspension Kit to Correct Sagging Rear End on 2002 Toyota Tacoma During Occasional Towing
  • As you noted there are several different types of rear axle suspension enhancement products for your 2002 Toyota Tacoma: air-springs, rubber bump-stop springs and helper leaf springs such as the Super Springs # SSA18. Air-spring kits are more complex to install and require regular checks to maintain their required minimum pressure, but offer adjust-ability to suit changing tow and cargo loads. Rubber springs are not adjustable but do offer progressive resistance as the load increases,...

  • Height of Sumo Spring # SSR-207-47 For 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
  • The # SSR-207-47 SumoSpring is 5 inches tall. Usually, the underside of the spring would sit about 1-2 inches above the axle. For crew cab models, the extra weight of the cab would cause the rear to settle a bit more, with the bottom of the spring sitting just above or right on the axle.

  • Recommended Products to Reduce Body Roll & Sway on a 2015 Georgetown 270 with a V10 & F-53 Chassis
  • Good news! I can help point you in the right direction about what products will be best for your 2015 Georgetown. We typically recommend installing one suspension/stabilization/sway piece at a time to see how the ride improves before adding more. The best thing to start with is the suspension enhancement. If you need to break this up as well then I would recommend starting with the rear axle then the front axle. Due to the weight of your Georgetown you will want to get the Timbren...

  • Is There an Advantage to Installing 3000 lb SuperSprings over 2000 lb SuperSprings on a 2012 F-150
  • As long as the gross vehicle weight (GVW) of your 2012 Ford F-150 does not exceed 7,500 lbs, then you will be fine installing the 2,000 lb SuperSprings, # SSA5MTKT. The important thing to consider when you are choosing between the 2,000 lb SuperSprings or the 3,000 lb SuperSprings, # SSA28, is the GVW of your truck when it is fully loaded and hooked to your trailer. Your GVW will include the curb weight of the truck plus the weight of any passengers, cargo and the pin weight of your trailer....

  • Rear Helper Springs for a 2014 Nissan Xterra 4x4 Towing a 5,000 Pound Trailer
  • For your 2014 Nissan Xterra 4x4 I recommend the Timbren helper springs # TJRC01. Timbren springs get progressively stiffer the more weight is put on them to better support the vehicle when under load. When not loaded or towing a trailer you may experience a little bit of a stiffer ride. I have included a link to our help article on Timbren springs for you.

  • Fit of SuperSprings SSR-610-47 Solo Helper Springs on 2014 Toyota Tundra w/ 1 Inch Lift
  • According to my SuperSprings representative, the 1 inch increase in ride height provided by the block won't do much to change the effectiveness of the # SSR-610-47 Solo Custom Helper Springs. As you can see in the photo I've provided, The spring sits about an inch below the frame member on a Tundra with a stock ride height. Your 1 inch lift will mean that the truck's suspension will need to compress a bit more before the Solo Springs come into effect.

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement System for Occasional Towing with 2010 Xterra 4x4 on Rough Roads
  • I recommend the SumoSprings # SSR-210-40 for your 2010 Xterra 4x4 since you'll be towing and hitting rough roads occasionally. These are specifically designed to provide extra support to your existing springs while maintaining a smooth ride when driving down the highway without additional weight. • Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2017 Nissan Titan Towing Fifth Wheel Trailer
  • The SumoSprings part # SSR-610-47 would be exactly what you are looking for. These replace the jounce bumpers and give you the additional suspension support you would need so that your truck will stop sagging when loaded. These are great as they do not require keeping any air bags inflated like the air bag kits require.

For a front-axle jounce spring kit for your 16K chassis you can use SuperSprings kit # SSF-180-40-1. This provides progressive resistance as load increases to absorb bumps and shocks and to minimize sway.
