seems to be a great item , however, it's still in the box as I been busy and putting off my up grades to my van storage and organization adding x trac and so forth. unfortunately someone in a 18 wheeler ran a light and totaled my van. now I will have to find an alternative use for the floor mat

Great product! Would give it a 5 but since I have a passenger Sprinter I had to do a good bit of trimming around the 1 row of seats I left in, and the floor heaters. Once I was finished it looked great!

I initially ordered the wrong size mat (gift for a friend's 2014 Ford Transit Connect van) and was disappointed because I thought I had the correct van stats and measurements. In any event, Paula was wonderful at sending out the longer wheel length mat and it fit like a glove--my friend was thrilled. Very plush, thick and sturdy. Forgot to take a pic.

We installed this rug in our 2020 Metris Passenger Van. Unfortunately no rugs are available for passenger van so we bought this one made for cargo van. We cut it to fit. I was slightly disappointed (although not surprised) that the pre-cut holes for tie down rings were in different spots. All-in-all we are very happy with purchase since it is a great improvement over default floor mat - nice look, quieter, allows for sliding objects without causing rips.

Awesome floor mat! I was skeptical about it being able to sustain heavy palletized loads being pushed and dragged on it but surprisingly the mat stayed in place for all but one load of palletized firewood from Big R. Although the mat was forced to crumple it flattened right back into place after removing load. No damage whatsoever.

Great Product. Coupled with the strips of Soundproofing I installed it really quieted the "tin echo cargo van" sound. I have the 118" wheelbase Promaster 1500 and had to shorten it which was very easy to do. When I decided to install a plywood flooring, I decided use the VanRug as my permanent insulation between my flooring and the van floor. Very pleased with VanRug both as a stand alone VanRug and as a very good insulation for my plywood flooring.
Couldn't find pic with just the VanRug but you can see edges of it by rear doors. It made insulating the van floor super easy. The original plan was to just use it and I only added flooring to have a base anchor for planned future builds.
Fast easy upgrade and very good sound insulation. Highly recommend. And etrailer's quick ship and service was excellent.

Product was not as explained over the phone. It is also clearly made for a cargo trailer and not a 2006 Dodge Sprinter. The picture is exactly what came in the box which does not reflect ribs on the bottom or cutout for entry step. I called in to find out if the stock picture was incorrect and was told that it would indeed have the ribs to contour to the van bed (as is standard for VanRugs) and that it would fit exactly to my van. This is too wide, no cutouts, and is clearly not made for my vehicle. It's been 6 days since sending proof that this doesn't fit and etrailer has not sent me a return slip yet or answered when I can expect refund. Not cool at all for an expensive item.

Seriously awesome product. It fits perfectly in the van, with the underside matching the channels in the van floor. This thing protects the metal floor from dents, dings, scratches, but also makes sliding things in and out much easier. The rug is seemingly waterproof and extremely durable. The material, though not necessarily soft, is tough and surprisingly un-scratchy. This was important because we use the van as a camper as well as hauling.

Fit good except does not reach back of seats and you have to cut out for step on side door. I did use the cut out piece to fill in up to back of seats using carpet tape to hold together, really can't tell its pieced. I have a heavy rubber cargo mat over 3/4 of mat, but the area of mat still exposed is holding up well. Would buy again.

Well made, durable, and plush! It has cut-outs to access in-floor tie downs, and these cover up to be nearly undetectable when not in use. The padding is about 3/4” thick, and springs back into shape if compressed. I rolled a Honda Goldwing onto the padding in my van, travelled about 1000 miles, and when I backed it out, the padding was like new with no tire impressions.
Offers great cushioning for camping and protects the bed from scratches, spillovers, and dents. It does everything as advertised and it’s a perfect fit too! Money well spent!

Installed this in our 2017 Mercedes Benz NCV3 Sprinter Passenger van, and a year later we're pretty happy with it.
The mat is custom cut for the cargo version of the Sprinter. If you're installing it in the passenger, you'll need to cut it to accommodate for seat mounts, heaters, and other things not present in the cargo version.
I did this by first fully removing the vinyl flooring in the van, and using that vinyl sheet as a template to cut the mat for the additions. The whole process took about 2-hours.
I chose to reinstall the mat on top of the vinyl flooring in the Sprinter. This was no problem for the more robust fasteners, e.g., cargo tie-downs and seat attachment points. They bolt down, and simply compress the mat underneath for a really custom, good looking fit.
Smaller screwed-in trim pieces and flashing were a bit more of a hassle. I had to replace the factory screws with some longer ones, and still never got a satisfactory fit in some cases. Still, all-in-all installation was a breeze.
Performance after a year has been pretty solid. The carpeting does great with dirt, mud and sand. However, anything pointy and small, like pine needles, can get really tangled in the carpeting.
I'd say it's performance for snow and water is a 5/5, while performance for pine needles and other debris is a 2/5.
A year after installation, it's holding up pretty well. No damage, but some pilling in high traffic areas. Overall, it's not perfect, but I don't know that there's a better option out there. For the price, it's a great value.

I ordered the VanRug for my Nissan NV 2500. It arrived in good condition and was lighter than I expected so I had no difficulty installing it by myself. I used a cheap putty knife to help lift the plastic trim. The back trim was simple and the install went well with no problem. The side I discovered didn't want to lift up like the back had. I got it to give me just enough to slip the rug under. I had to start at the rear edge of the side door first to have the flexibility to slip under the trim. It is still lifting up from being freshly unrolled but overall looks great and is much better to kneel on than what I had before. My dogs are the most grateful, they don't slip on the floor anymore! I would say it was two tails up but they are Corgis so you will just have to trust me they were happy. The contour is excellent but I can still feel the ribs ever so slightly, this is because the foam is less deep and therefore less give over the ribs. But the ease of installation would be compromised by using a dense foam that hid the ribs, so please don't change it! Also I can see how easy it will be to clean with the materials used. The light weight makes me very happy for my gas mileage savings over having 50# of sub-flooring, I didn't have to drill a single hole in the floor and I didn't have to painstakingly measure and pattern for the bed. I highly recommend this product for van conversions and work trucks alike. My local FedEx driver is jealous! If I decide I need wood on the floor for fastening I will be able to use the section of rug as a pattern because the fit was precise. I am really enjoying etrailer for the completely awesome videos that make online shopping so easy. Thank you!

really nice mat/carpet. the cut outs are spot on. and my additional cutting was not difficult. at minimum u will need to cut out the step for the big sliding side door on the Sprinter. the mat is highly recommended.

Great product! I really needed a soft floor for my camper van project and I couldnt imagine a nicer product to walk on, even barefoot. Fits the van and my needs perfectly... probably offers a lot of insulation too which is a bonus. Would buy again for sure

A durable VanTred cargo van mat is great for tough, commercial applications and frequent use.The cargo mat was a good fit, I trimmed a little off some edges with a razor, no prob. It made a good subfloor under some laminate flooring for my van conversion project, so I would definitely recommend a pre-cut mat for both the ease of installation and as a waterproof subfloor. The mat isn't very tough, a heavy item with sharp corner will puncture it and it creased when I put it in the van. Light duty or subfloor, yes, as a permanent floor for heavy equipment, no.
The Bedrug came quickly, we laid it out for a few hours and placed some heavy items on the ends to get the curl out of it. We installed it in the van and realized it wasn’t trimmed for the side door column. It’s easy to cut with a razor knife so we trimmed it ourselves. The next issue we had is it’s not wide enough to go from side to side it’s roughly 3” to narrow so there’s a large gap around the wheel wells and along the walls. The last issue we had is it’s about 8” to short it doesn’t go all the way to the back doors. It looks nice, it’s extremely light maybe 25lb’s. The foam on the backside likely won’t aid much with R value but should help with sound reduction. It’s not rubbery it’s a hard layer of plastic or box liner with a light foam backing.
The product is wonderful it fit very well No complaints here
We used this in our 15 seat van. It has been great. It took a little trimming to make it work.

This Matt is a good underlying idea for me I was putting some vinyl planks floor and I was worried it would sink in but it didn't it's really holding up real good it's not an insulation you really need a good pair of slippers because the floor will be cold but it's a good start to put in your van first then I would put half inch hard insulation and then the floor if I have to redo it again but it's very good Matt

Very easy to install. It would be interesting to have along with the unit double sided sticky tape to help mitigate objects from sliding along it causing it from being uprooted. Other than that IT is a sound dampening and pretty solid surface.

Easy to unbox, not heavy even for an old lady :). Not hard to unroll if you unroll it on it’s face, weigh down the start and then unroll and weigh down the end. Leave it out in the sun above 80 degrees for several hours and it will flatten nicely. Good fit, I loved how they had a line for me to cut to fit my 118 promaster. The cargo matt fits both the 136 and the 118. It looks nice and I’m happy with it.

I haven't installed this yet but now that I have the mat I think it's going to do exactly what I hoped for. I ordered this mat to use as insulation underneath plywood subflooring that will then be covered by Lonseal sheet flooring. The beauty of this product for me is that before I install it I'm going to use it as a template for marking and cutting the plywood and the vinyl sheet that will go on top of it. That will save me significant time and hassle.
it. It is relatively soft so should contour around the corrugation of the metal floor. I'm also going to add strips of noise dampener in the grooves of the metal floor to further reduce that type of road noise.

The mat wasn't exactly what I expected. The surface is rather hard and slick. I was hoping for something more rubbery. Also, there could have been some tips on how to install it properly. In a effort to unroll the mat I bent it back on itself and now there is permanent crease in the hard surface. I guess it would have been nice to get some do's & don't in the box. I also had to trim it bit up towards the front and that was tricky.
Overall the mat is good quality for a reasonable price and it arrived quickly.

The mat was much better than I initially thought it would be. It was easy to install. I thought it might be prone to slicing and tearing. After a full year of using and abusing it in my plumber’s work van I can say I have been very pleasantly surprised by it’s durability. No gashes or cuts....and I really use it hard in my profession. It’s waterproof, sweeps up nice and cleans up well. Very, very, very happy with it.
