Needed the part for my Thule box as original part had seized. I found etrailer online searching and took a shot ordering from them. (wondered if Id get an aftermarket knockoff even though it had original part number listed as I never used them and wasn't familiar with etrailer but figured as long as it worked). Ordered from them and received the OEM parts as advertised. I noticed a similar Thule part a couple dollars less but realized this number was the one that matched the box I had so I would be sure to match it up as other one looked similar. Product shipped promptly and I received email updates along the way (confirmation, shipping and tracking). Happy with their service and would feel comfortable using them in the future.
Standard Thule parts.. Customer service was great. Actually had 1 of 2 wrong parts shipped and I had to return it. But CS shipped the correct part before I had even sent the wrong part back. Good team..

Regarding the product: Thule should be ashamed of making such a flimsy piece of crap. These were on a Thule Sonic XL that I use on our 2004 Toyota 4runner Sport. Both of the turn knobs on the AccuTight on same side of the box striped out and were rendered useless. Thankfully etrailer.com had them in stock for a great price and was able to ship them out quickly.
I got the OEM part, for less money. I’m a happy camper now. Thank you!
Worked well, good replacement. My thule fell over on the clamps and they are not sturdy, but this is exactly the same product as they used, so I was able to swap it in minutes.
etrailer is a great alternative to Thule. I ordered this part from them, at a lower price than Thule. Service and follow-up on the order was great. I was able to fix the broken original part, and contacted them to return the part, and they made it very easy to process the return as well.
got to take place of old bolts on thule evolution box. these are great and super easy to mount on car by yourself.
Amazed at how everything fit, literally could not tell the difference between original part and the one that they sent. They did have difficulty in getting the part info needed, but they called the company while I was on the phone and nailed it! Rep was pleasant, efficient and all I could ask in terms of customer service.
If needed I will definitely use this Company again.

Original Thule product, same quality as the BEAT old one, it comes with a screw, easy installation. Now my roof cargo box looks new again.
No idea how the item actually performed because despite paying for one say ground shipping it arrived 5-6 days late, which meant we couldn’t use it on a trip we needed it for. I’m waiting to see how etrailer will handle the refund.
I am trying to fit this on an evolution. It's been tough trying to find details. Hopefully these fit. Appears to have the right tracks, but the other kit didn't seem to match this either

Bought 4 to replace on an old box. Passable but not great. Box continually slips side to side and needs to be readjusted

I'm pretty savvy, but not everyone who purchases one of these contraptions would be able to figure out how to remove the old grip and replace it with this one. Perhaps you could include simple instructions in the packaging.
In a time when when you often need to trash some major piece of equipment because you can't find a proper repair piece for the otherwise serviceable item, it was great to find this grip mount assembly for our Thule cargo box, which was in dire need of replacement. The box itself is several years old, is a discontinued model, and has seen a lot of use but was still in great condition. So I was very pleased to have easily found the necessary replacement item, easily ordered, and promptly delivered to our home. Highly recommend dealing with this company.
