2022 Toyota Tacoma
Thule bars are well made and install easily. Look great on my 2022 Tacoma...just ensure you get the additional install kit for the Toyota track system. AT the time of purchase no was sure if the TracOne adapter kit would work...it does. On the negative side....The cross bars were dimpled from shipping as you can see in the photo. Good news is that etrailer customer service was able to arrange two new bars to be sent as replacement. Excellent customer service!

Installed my Thule Xsporter Pro racks yesterday. Very easy to install. The instructions were easy to follow. Everyone at retailer.com were terrific. The rack fit well on my 2010 Ford ranger and was the perfect answer to transporting the long poles for large canvas tents for my living history group. It would be perfect for ladders as well.

Love these because of the adjustability. I can carry my tent lower than the roofline, or use to carry my canoe above it. The adjustable stops make it easy to change depending on whatever load you're running, ladders, plywood, a boat, etc! The black powder coat happens to match my truck perfectly.

Probably the best rack I have ever purchased, I was looking for a ladder rack that could adjust easily to fit in a parking garage. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. All required tools are supplied. This rack can be removed fast if needed, and has lockable fittings to keep others from easily removing it.

Rack failed within the first month. Locking mech locks up, don't not lock and unscrews itself during travel. Locks to truck fell off. Protective caps broke after several adjustments to hold ladders up. Dont waste your money. I thought Thule was high quality and was wrong.

Did some trimming on the truck bed rail to get max distance between brackets. I use the raise lower and removal function often and it’s ease to do. Only con is that I haven’t found a tonneau cover that works with it due to the bracket wrapping the bedrail.

it is junk. The load stop tensioners seized up. Two of the end end caps broke off which allowed one of the load stops to then falls off in transit. Watched it bounce down the parkway. I have been using Thule for years. Always happy. I don't know what happened to the quality. It is no longer in their product.

Great rack! Only thing I can say bad is that cat washes won't let you take it through. Guess it has to do with the base breaking and tearing up equipment and people. I just wash my truck myself so no worries!

This is a fantastic product! Looks great, adjust easily. With the toolbox and ladder racks down it really gives the truck a unique look. Less than 5 minutes they can be adjusted up to carry whatever is needed. I attach my hullavator kayak cradle to it in another couple of minutes and am ready to easily load kayak. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

I have loaded this with lumber and other construction equip. Has not failed. Some times reinstalling the racks is a little frustrating but patience pays off. Once I entered a parking garage and forgot they were up because they are adjustable, got out of truck and lowered them which only takes a minute and was still able to park . Like these .

Rack was a good fit for my 2016 Chevrolet Colorado and is solidly constructed and easy to install. Expensive but probably worth the money. No problem at all with black powder coating in screw threads, which many other reviewers complain about. I bought the Thule aero rack pads at the same time. They do not fit the rack properly and I’m disappointed that etrailer did not question the order and offer advice.

2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Rack is sturdy and well built. Took less than an hour to assemble and install. Maximum height of rack does not clear the top of the cab of a 2016 Ford F-350 SD Crew Cab. If you want to carry a kayak it will require foam blocks or Malone kayak saddles made for the Tracrac(not carried by etrailer). You can not carry a long ladder if used on this vehicle. Over all it is good rack though.

2019 Ram 1500
Price from etrailer was good as always. Directions were nice and clear. Ended up doing my own trimming and was able to save one fastener location and more of the panels. Hitch itself was decent overall. Very solid, the wide brackets were the same thickness of the class 3 I bought at the same time for my truck. Had a missing chunk of paint on the visible edge of the safety chain bracket and started surface rusting the first time it rained. Will have to sand and paint that. Would be nice if they gave 2 long and 2 short pull wires instead of just 4 short ones you have to twist together (minor gripe, I know).

Pontiac Trans Sport Van
Installed on my Ford F250 Super Duty. Excellent construction, takes about one hour to assemble with just a few tools. Instructions are good, and all parts were in the box. Looks/fits fine on my truck. The rack is about 1" taller than the cab roof. Flat items like ladders, lumber, rigid pipe will clear, but flexible items like PVC or plywood may touch the top of the cab when travelling. I purchased this unit to transport kayaks when we travel on vacation. Canoes/kayaks clear fine if transported right-side up (as they are flat on the bottom) . But I load them upside down for better wind and noise control, and the 'tip' of the boat will just touch the top of the cab. I easily fixed this by getting a few 4"-5" stainless hose clamps at Lowe's, and a piece of 2x4, and clamp that to the front bar. Not a hill for a stepper.

Great product, easy install, easy to follow instructions. My only complaint is: getting tool box mounting kit and there is no option for getting black hardware. Who would think I wouldn't mind silver clamps with my black rack, black tool box, ladder that I painted black? Black running boards, mirrors and handles changed out from factory. I painted them, but wish I didn't need to after paying I think around $600 for the 2 products combined. They should look at sending the tool box kit to powder coat. It's literally the exact same clamp with a hole drilled and threaded in it.

I received my product quickly. I was very pleased with the quality and instructions. I installed this on my truck that also has an in-bed tool box.
Although the install instructions were easily understood it would be very helpful to have another set of hands.
I do have a suggestion w/ref to the excellent hardware supplied. Unfortunately I found in several instances I experienced difficulty because there was paint in the internal threaded areas. This I was able to overcome by using the correct tap to clear the internal threads.
I love it.

Install was simple. Did not use the clamps that came with it. Bolted to bed instead. Crossbody too box sits on top of front rails. Bought the tool box mounting accessory kit and used the shims that came with that to level the crossbody box.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The assembly of the TracRac was not difficult and the install on my truck was fairly easy. I used it last weekend to haul my kayak as well as my wife’s kayak while pulling our camper. The rack made it possible for us to haul our 12 foot kayaks with ease.

1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 Heavy Duty
I had high expectations for this rack and it exceeded them. Very well constructed and engineered. Very solid cast and extruded aluminum parts. Feels very strong and solid after assembly. I really wanted to give this rack five stars, but the problem of paint is the threads of the c-clamp that others have discussed in reviews surfaced for me as well. All assembly went smooth with this exception. Without buying a tap to chase these thread, I would have never been able to trust the torque values required for a safe assembly. This is a very serious problem that will result in an improper torque of the c-clamps and serious safety issues and must be addressed by Thule. This is surprising considering the obvious quality to all other details with the assembly and should be an easy fix for them. I would like to see a response from Thule addressing this issue with their fix (e.g. masking before paint or cleaning after). Millions of parts are painted / power coated every day without getting paint in the threads. Thule should be able to figure this one out.

Really too new to rate as far as functionality as I just installed it today. 2 guys about an hour plus. Looks great. Had a few little scratches out of the box, but since I know it's going to get used for my roofing company, I know this is a minor thing. Looks great and hope it performs as well as it looks. I really didn't want a full ladder rack so I think this will work out just fine Delivery was super quick too

Ford F-250 Super Duty
This rack fit my 2020 F-250 super cab perfectly. The treads on the clamps were rough. The bolts were very difficult to thread. I chased the threads with a tap and made these much better. I got the black rack, I don’t see many around and had to wait a few weeks more for it. Looks great.

I actually do have a question. Do you have some sort of mounting kit that I’d be able to attach a tool box over top the ladder rack mounts? The craftsman tool box does not fit with the current mounts I have.

- Great question. The TracONE at 27000B is the discontinued older model which has been replaced by the # TH27000XTB. Thule bought out TracRac and the only real update to that specific rack is the style of the hold downs. The newer style is more user friendly and holds ladders or cargo more effectively. If you have the older rack and want the newer style load stops you can use the Replacement Load Stops for Thule Aeroblade Load Bars, Ladder Racks, or Thule TracRac CapRac - Qty 4 # 753-3761.
