I bought these for my 2018 Ford F 150 5.5foot bed.
These are definitely one of the more expensive ladder racks you can buy but totally worth it. Very high quality and easy to install. I bought these for the ease of removal.
I use etrailer.com for all my vehicle needs.

The TH43002XT-781EX installed onto my 2016 GMC 2500 HD Sierra 6-1/2 bed Denali pickup truck without drilling any holes. Total install time including the cantilever took about 2 1/2 hours with two people. The tools we used included a wide range of metric hex keys, a crescent and some metric open-endeds.
The base rails mounted to the bed rails using a threaded aluminum insert for the rear stake pockets (which align with a thru-hole already present in the bed) and an expanding rubber bushing for the front stake pockets (since the front pockets don't have a thru-hole). Evidently some pickup rails cant to one side or another so the base rail install kit includes shims but my truck did not require them.
Once installed the rails are rock solid and subsequently the racks are also rock solid. The cantilever comes with replacement saddles that mount up to the rack with a total of 12 bolts making the ensemble nearly missile proof. Almost all bolts are pre-treated with thread locker.
My truck already has knobby tires so I did not notice any particular additional wind noise.
My plan for the TracRac is to attach a custom mounted Rhino-Rack, which we'll be doing ourselves.
I like this product because the fitment on etrailer was reliable and I did not have to drill any holes or use any special tools. The rack is also ridiculously heavy duty, which is more than up to the job of holding the Rhino-Rack I'm going to custom fit to it. We'll be doing some off-roading so this heavy equipment gives me a lot of confidence.
Thule always makes great products and I am delighted with the TracRac and I'm very happy with etrailer's site.

I ordered the TracRac SR (sliding rack) for my 2019 Ram 3500. It took a while to get here, probably due to the current situation weall in. It came in 3 boxes on 2 days. (Just so you know what you'll be looking for) everything was packaged very secure in the boxes. I order the Cantilever with mine, so I had to swap out a couple parts. No big deal. Everything was explained in the instructions. It took me about 3 hours to install. The hardest part was getting the bed rails to align. I got them within 1/16th of an inch. Good enough.
The rack is a great addition to the truck. I stepped down from an 8ft bed to this 6ft 4in bed. So this was a necessity. The rack is solid. I'll be putting it to work right away

The rack system is very well put together. I only had a couple of issues with the instalation.
There wasn't any directions with the base rails, so it took a bit to figure out how it went together and what holes to use for my truck.
The canteilever kit, The top bolt that holds the cross bar should be a button screw and square nut, not a square head bolt and nut. with the square head bolt and nut it could interfere with a long load since it sticks up and could catch on anything being loaded . All and all a nice rack.
I got this type of rack hoping that I could slide the rear post forward as to not interfere with my 5th wheel when towing it.
That part is yet to be dedurmined.

Product is great and installed easily once I figured out that for my Ram 1500 Laramie, the pocket stakes are too big for the rubber blocks and won't work and I did have to drill thru the plastic molding. Once I figured out the stake holes wouldn't work I looked at the drawing again and the holes where Tundra is listed gave me the idea to try those. Those holes worked on the Ram and I ended up drilling out the "spikes" that hold the molding onto the sheet metal. No drilling thru the sheet metal was required, only the plastic.
Maybe I missed an install video for the Ram, it would have made the install much quicker and I wouldn't have to buy covers for my now cut out front stake pocket holes which weren't covered by the rails as I hoped they would.
I haven't installed the cantilever as I don't need it yet.

Perfect for my truck and what I needed. It's easy to take off the rack when not using it. It doesn't impede my roll-up tonneau cover. It's strong. I like the cab over as I load a long canoe on the rack and it protects the roof of my F350.

Shipping was quick As described Easy to assemble. Wish the kit had one set of directions so I wouldn't have had to take the front rack apart after the fact. The final bolts for the canteleaver seem to be a damage/ scratch hazard.
Looks pretty slick though.

I purchased the front rack with the cantilever over hang, toolbox track kit and rear rack and locking knobs.
Very happy with the final product.
Thanks.

I have owned three of these racks, over 20+ years…
Nothing better, and the prices haven’t changed drastically.

Great product, super easy install. No drill application is wonderful and fast so I can put it to work to pay for itself, less than 2 hr installation.

I am happy with my Tracrac. I have a hard tonneau cover and carbon fiber bed. Had to use outside rails only for the folding tonneau cover. Also the bed is not quite square, so a close inspection will a visual difference

This has been one high quality truck rack. It went together reasonably well, has carried a variety of work and recreational loads for me around town and on the hwy. The design is very strong and flexible on my 6ft box and I love being able to slide rails forward or off based on access and truck load needs. It has also has very little road noise and fit reasonably well with my existing tanneau cover.
I had one tighten down knob break on impact (my fault and easily replaced at the hardware store) and my only product concern has to do with the sticky style leveling/mounting shims which have all but wiggled loose at this point. I will soon need to place some more permanent shims that can be anchored to the underside of the rails or on to my truck or something. It looks like I will have this for many more years.

This Thule rack is one of only a few that fit the Tundra and it has worked out great for my needs, especially with the front extension piece. Installation was straight forward with no major issues doing it solo. A black anodized finish option to match the rails would be a nice feature to have available.

I ordered, received and installed the trakrack ladder rack with cab extension. Etrailer I highly recommend as their service is excellent. I always buy from them. Since this product is aluminum, I did have a problem with some screws getting stripped but Etrailer fixed the problem. Once again excellent service. The ladder rack is sturdy and looks great. It is also light weight. It can be removed and adjusted to different lengths. It's a wow. I did add some bolts to the rails for my own confidence that it is bolted to the truck bed. Two words....buy it.
Review from a similar TracRac SR w Cantilever in Ladder Racks
All trucks made in the last 10 years have varying width beds. The installation instructions state that the sliding rail bases must be exactly the same width along the trucks bed rails. This is impossible to do without having them extend over the rear bed rails, and the front rails extending inside the bed rails. My Chevy truck has a 2" differential in bed width at the front and rear. TracRac needs to take these dimensions into consideration when designing the next version of the sliding rail kit. Instead of drilling a ton of holes in the rails at the factory, let us drill our own, so we can line up the rails as we see fit. It would also be nice if you would design the bottom of the inside-front rails to include a recessed notch for us guys that have roll n lock bed covers. Then we could set the rails on top of the roll-n-lock cover, thus allowing better rail alignment, down the truck rails.

Full disclosure: I haven't ACTUALLY installed the rack yet (although I've purchased one here before and it is FANTASTIC - hence my reordering another), but etrailer customer service alone deserves 5 stars! When I opened the initial package, it was clear that something wasn't right. I soon discovered that two small parts ($50 worth) integral to the installation of the rack were missing. I contacted etrailer and let them know and they sent replacement parts out to me right away no questions asked. They were incredible to work with yet again - another reason I will never look anywhere else for any truck/trailer parts I may need in the fuutre.

Product delivered on time, in good perfect condition. Parts look solid, accessories & locks make it a good choice to make sure my investments are safe and secure. Can't wait to put it together especially the slide system of racks will make my truck bed more user friendly. I had a Thule system and was not happy with plastic parts with having to adjust height was a pain. Buy TracRac slide system with accessories to fit your needs, you will be happy in the long run......you get what you pay for!!!

I bought the entire Trac Rac SR system for my 2017 Silverado 2500HD. Shopped around and started at etrailer.com like I always do. Went round and round on the internet, no one could come close to the price, not to mention the free shipping. Arrived quicker than paying for expedited shipping that other sites charge for. The packaging was top notch. I bought the cantilever option as the 6 1/2 foot bed doesn't allow for the support I need for the long ladders and 2X-12'-16' lumber. Well worth it.

A great product. I only wish they could figure out a way to make the racks easier to slide with only one person. i have not devised a system yet but I'm working on it.

Rack was easy to install, I use it daily and it's definitely built for it. I got a new truck and had to switch the bed rails out, ordered just the rails and changed it over in an hour. Great rack!

Installed the Tracrac shortly after I received it. It was fairly easy to install and works great. I have hauled several hundred pounds of lumber on it without issue. etrailer's pricing and service were really good as well. Works with a Paragon bed cover too on an F150 with a 5-1/2' bed.

Bought in end of november 2019. It's the beginning of August. Never would buy again. Replaced so many screws already. Adjusting the rack sucks and the screw downs to secure the rack to the rails will not tighten/lose to slide because they are completely corroded together. Hasn't even been a year....very disappointed.

This rack is awesome. I have carried, lumber, step ladders and lengthy pipes with ease. I also bought a cantilever extension and it’s a plus for hauling lengthy materials.
Rack was a good fit for my 2016 Chevrolet Colorado and is solidly constructed and easy to install. Expensive but probably worth the money. No problem at all with black powder coating in screw threads, which many other reviewers complain about. I bought the Thule aero rack pads at the same time. They do not fit the rack properly and I’m disappointed that etrailer did not question the order and offer advice.
Rack is sturdy and well built. Took less than an hour to assemble and install. Maximum height of rack does not clear the top of the cab of a 2016 Ford F-350 SD Crew Cab. If you want to carry a kayak it will require foam blocks or Malone kayak saddles made for the Tracrac(not carried by etrailer). You can not carry a long ladder if used on this vehicle. Over all it is good rack though.
Installed on my Ford F250 Super Duty. Excellent construction, takes about one hour to assemble with just a few tools. Instructions are good, and all parts were in the box. Looks/fits fine on my truck. The rack is about 1" taller than the cab roof. Flat items like ladders, lumber, rigid pipe will clear, but flexible items like PVC or plywood may touch the top of the cab when travelling. I purchased this unit to transport kayaks when we travel on vacation. Canoes/kayaks clear fine if transported right-side up (as they are flat on the bottom) . But I load them upside down for better wind and noise control, and the 'tip' of the boat will just touch the top of the cab. I easily fixed this by getting a few 4"-5" stainless hose clamps at Lowe's, and a piece of 2x4, and clamp that to the front bar. Not a hill for a stepper.
Great product, easy install, easy to follow instructions. My only complaint is: getting tool box mounting kit and there is no option for getting black hardware. Who would think I wouldn't mind silver clamps with my black rack, black tool box, ladder that I painted black? Black running boards, mirrors and handles changed out from factory. I painted them, but wish I didn't need to after paying I think around $600 for the 2 products combined. They should look at sending the tool box kit to powder coat. It's literally the exact same clamp with a hole drilled and threaded in it.
Nice rack just does not work with an other thule products. I have thule bike and kayak racks.
This is a constructed, great looking rack that is easy to assemble too. etrailer.com’s customer service is exceptional; prompt responses to questions with helpful information and suggestions and they are knowledgeable about the products they offer. Very satisfied with this rack and other purchases I have made with them.
I am very pleased with my purchase. The assembly of the TracRac was not difficult and the install on my truck was fairly easy. I used it last weekend to haul my kayak as well as my wife’s kayak while pulling our camper. The rack made it possible for us to haul our 12 foot kayaks with ease.
Very high quality, feels great and looks great. I used a impact drill with the right size drivers for the Allen keys and it made it much easier.
I received my product quickly. I was very pleased with the quality and instructions. I installed this on my truck that also has an in-bed tool box.
Although the install instructions were easily understood it would be very helpful to have another set of hands.
I do have a suggestion w/ref to the excellent hardware supplied. Unfortunately I found in several instances I experienced difficulty because there was paint in the internal threaded areas. This I was able to overcome by using the correct tap to clear the internal threads.
I love it.
EXCELLENT RACK for canoe, surfboards, lumber, etc.
goes on and off fairly easily, which makes it easy to adjust for different lengths.
Price from etrailer was good as always. Directions were nice and clear. Ended up doing my own trimming and was able to save one fastener location and more of the panels. Hitch itself was decent overall. Very solid, the wide brackets were the same thickness of the class 3 I bought at the same time for my truck. Had a missing chunk of paint on the visible edge of the safety chain bracket and started surface rusting the first time it rained. Will have to sand and paint that. Would be nice if they gave 2 long and 2 short pull wires instead of just 4 short ones you have to twist together (minor gripe, I know).
Solid rack good build all the parts were well made. Easy install and works with cross the bed toolbox just had to make a spacer out of metal strap and it looks great. Best price going on etrailer, I'm using it with a crago rack for snowboarding and a vertical mount for mountain bikes.
Really too new to rate as far as functionality as I just installed it today. 2 guys about an hour plus. Looks great. Had a few little scratches out of the box, but since I know it's going to get used for my roofing company, I know this is a minor thing. Looks great and hope it performs as well as it looks. I really didn't want a full ladder rack so I think this will work out just fine Delivery was super quick too
The TracRac TracONE is solidly built. The connectors are stainless steel. It is straightforward to assemble, and rock solid once installed. I will use it mainly to transport canoes, and also for lumber.
Easy to set up and the black color went well with my Ruby Red. Held my kayaks tight and traveled well. 2018 Ford F150 XLT
After years of transporting kayaks in the bed of my pickup, I bought the TracRac to transport them and I don't regret the purchase at all. Easy to assemble and install and it just makes everything easier. Quick delivery and a reasonable price. You can't go wrong.
Was delivered in a couple days and was easy to assemble and looks sweet!
Main use is kayaks and ladders. This is the second trac rac I've owned and I can't say enough about the design and functionality. The movable tiedown points make this rack my top choice with each truck I own.
This rack fit my 2020 F-250 super cab perfectly. The treads on the clamps were rough. The bolts were very difficult to thread. I chased the threads with a tap and made these much better. I got the black rack, I don’t see many around and had to wait a few weeks more for it. Looks great.
Vicki was veery easy to work with. She answered all my questions and let me know that if I had any issues to contact her. This is my first experience with etrailer.com. I would definitely do business with them again!
Excellent quality and service people! They are the best!
Install was simple. Did not use the clamps that came with it. Bolted to bed instead. Crossbody too box sits on top of front rails. Bought the tool box mounting accessory kit and used the shims that came with that to level the crossbody box.
