Product has locked in nicely. I have not tried to remove either of the seats - I have 3 kids 40lb, 25lb, 25lb and any combination works good with the seats. I also purchased the Rad caboose to give them more security... these seats are nice but an adjustable handlebar could be a useful innovation. The front seat is also a little tight for longer legs so Ill have to remove the caboose and will continue to use these as it does give better security than just a bench.

great seat with the soft molded seat over the metal frame - seems well-made and secure when on the bike with the adapter. I can pick up the back of the bike with it with no problem and there is no wobble. with the clip on toe-guards there is no way the child can touch a wheel or spoke part. We plan to really put it to the test in a few weeks with a 3-year old granddaughter on a camping trip. the clamp action mount and lock are easy to use and a great security feature to minimize tampering. With the easy mount adapter, there is some ability to shift the seat forward or aft for clearances, the instructions are very clear on the allowable positioning. Instructions are written for folks who have never used a child seat on a bike with cautions about handling, balance, braking, etc.
