I was pleasantly surprised that I could get the bolts out of and the brake lines off of my old cast iron wheel cylinders but I did. The new cylinders from Etrailer went in easily. Better still is that they will last much longer made from zinc coated metal.
They bled out their air and now perform just as if it is a brand new trailer....great! The staff and service of Etrailer is really very good, you can tell that they are more than just words but are indeed sincere. 233348

I replaced all four of my 20 year old wheel cylinders on my trailer. The original company Dico is now called Titan. These replacement wheel cylinders were machined to as exact a fitment as I could tell. I had no trouble mounting them to the brake assembly. (Always use new bolts!)

The only issue I had was in one of the cylinders bleeder valve orifice. A small amount of rust had managed to form in the threads. I suspect localized moisture immediately after production led to this. I sprayed a rust dissolving solvent into the bleeder orifice and that made it look new again.
