These ramp springs really took the work out of raising and lowering my heavy 3 fold ramps needed for a more long and level approach to our 10 ton trailer. I always looked for help when needing to raise them, now I can almost do it with one hand. It took a little work installing them because the old system had to be rebuilt somewhat. I kept the same 1" pins and used a 1 1/16" ID X 1 1/2" OD sleeve for the springs to work on. They were well worth my time. I`d rate this an excellent product.

I had to have 2 back surgeries, and I was not to pick up hardly any weight for a number of weeks. I had a neighbor help me install the ramp springs. After that I was able to lift the ramps with almost no effort at all. I am very glad I got the springs.
The springs are okay, but etrailer is awesome. Super-fast shipping and amazing follow up.
We installed spring and lowered ramp. Spring bent and did not assist on lifting ramp anymore. Very disappointed

My gooseneck trailer has the extra wide ramps on it. Each ramp covers half the trailer. These ramp springs definitely help raise the ramps. I only wish the fingers (as I call them) were about 2 inches longer.
My 16 ft mower trailer is loaded with tools from the shop rebuild so I have been having to use my 20 ft implement trailer to haul my sub compact tractor on when mowing the in-laws yard. The ramps are very heavy which was never a problem for occasional use but doing it multiple times a week was getting old so I went looking for a solution. These springs were easy to install and made all the difference in the world. The trailer is now much more user friendly. Wish I had bought them years ago.

Exact replacement
Two points of consideration, first the ramp springs worked great and make a world of difference when lifting my ramps. Second was the instructional video. Which made the install process simple and accurate.
The existing spring on my fold up ramps were not enough to raise the ramp easily. I added this spring to the ramp and it works great.
They worked great for the set of ramps I built.

I even called customer service to check arrival time and the individual who helped me was very kind. First of all a person answered the phone, second she did not ask for an order number just my name and she was able to tell me exactly what was going on with my order and when it should arrive. My order arrived exactly when she told me. I am hoping to get it welded on today and if I am able I will try to return here and post pictures. Thank you guys.
Boris - 02/20/2023My parts were promptly shipped, in good condition upon arrival. Perfect fit for my application, and have had no problems over the last year. Application was for a 2010 piece American car hauler rear door ramp hinges.
Great value on heavy duty hinges. I had a custom Bifold landscape ramp built. And used 8 of these hinges. Four at the body and four at the Bifold.
Works great. Shipping was super fast. And packing was excellent.

Ordered these to use on a landscaping trailer for a rear ramp gate that will hold at least 800 pounds got 3 of them to spread the weight out, seemed heavy duty and they are, these are big hinges in a good way. The zerk fitting is a great plus! makes it easier than fabricating your own hinges. The square plate makes it easy to align and gives you enough material to weld to.Price was goog shipping was fast, customer service is always excellent.

One is hard to move and the other hinge is stuck. I think they are both bent. Not happy. Waste of time waiting for them

We've used these hinges on multiple heavy duty, weld-on applications and they are quality, solid, and extremely durable and strong. The extra thick barrels make welding them onto frames extremely easy.
Good service overall
The hinges looked good but they were rusty. It would be nice to get hinges that you could move by hand. 2 of the 4 i had to put in a vice and use penetrating oil to get them to move at all.
The hinges worked perfectly for what I wanted them for.
I'm refurbishing an enclosed trailer and etrailer made it super easy. I ordered new fenders, marker lights and replacement ramp hinges. I couldn't be more happy with the quality of the parts, the customer service and the great prices. I almost forgot the free shipping promo! I have seven trailers and etrailer will be my "go to" place for parts and accessories!
