These installed easily. I especially like the oversized backing plate. I was able to mount this this to my deck and still put separate large deck bolt bolt through the backing plate to mount straight to the frame.
Order came on time 3 days. I'm glad I ordered the package. The plates that go on the back side are heavy metal. All parts seem strong and should work very well for what I need to use them for.
John - 08/25/2019Works great, Using four (one at each corner) to hold down a R1250GS in a 6’x12’ enclosed trailer. Hasn’t budged in 5000 miles towed.
Once again made in China, probably a good product but only time will tell. China stuff usually never as good as American!!!!!
Great product, easy install and more than heavy enough to handle any size bike.
Install was easy and no signs of rust after using it for a year.

My run-of-the-mill utility trailer is now the envy of all my friends. It is customized for my frequent trips to the ATV trails, but the strategically placed tie downs offer flexibility for just about any load I need to haul. Thanks for the honest reviews and great products!

Tie-down is tamped with 1,200Lb rating. I would not suggest that, and have seen similar tie-down listed with a 500Lb rating when installed in other applications. I am replacing mine due to rivets failing on lower side from corrosion/weakness that is prone in this area. The D-ring support strap seems to hold water in cup from drain hole. Web picture does not illustrate this very well, nor is it the exact same receptacle purchased. The receptacles i received are the exact same tie-downs that I’m replacing (see attached picture). Take note that the 2 main bolt holes lengthwise make it prone to tip/twist with side loads applied under stress. Use caution for heavier tugging loads on this type of tie-down.
Good price for a "light duty tie-down".

Easy installation, 3" hole drilled! I had my brother in law make some backing plates that I painted. These will work great to hold our ATV's down!
Used some 5/16" stainless bolts with nylock stainless nuts and zink coated washers to complete. I may end up bolting the middle as well, but I figured I would keep that open for water drainage.

I transport motorcycles on my 30' flatbed trailer and use these to secure them to the deck. They recess into the wood deck easily which keeps you from tripping on them when walking on the deck. Many times I will have 3 or 4 tie-downs attached to them from different angles and they hold together just fine. The D-Rings are large enough to handle multiple hooks, and strong enough to stay attached to the remaining bracket. The "hot ticket" for recessed attachment!

This product was excellent for my application. I did not want to spend a lot more money for extended strength that I did not require. This product was not only strong enough but provided the flush mount that I was wanting. They are installed in my covered snowmobile trailer.

Had trouble getting a forstner bit that big to not "walk" on me. Ended up using a hole saw and going all the way through and then reinforcing with steel underneath.

Fit perfect. Replacing the old ones in my Hallmark snowmobile trailer. Can not for the life of me understand why a manufacturer uses zinc coated tie downs but they did. Wish this maker would make these out of stainless steel. Oh well, these should last just as long as the OE ONES. LOOKS TO BE THE SAME MAKER. Note to anyone buying or looking for a snowmobile trailer. Pay the extra $ for the stainless option for outside latches and fasteners. Well worth the $ money for all the salt and crap the trailers go through.

The tie downs have performed as expected. Because they are flush mount installation was somewhat more difficult than surface mount would have been but worth the effort. I can transport flat sheets without damage. Loading is also a snap. Nobody should be disapointed with purchase of these.

During the process of rebuilding a small ATV trailer,I wanted to add a few more tie-downs than it originally came with. These ended up being a perfect match to what it had. And for the price I decided to not just add the 4 more, but to replace the original 4 as well so they all looked good.

The trailer door hinges and latch system have been on my custom trailer for well over a year and a half. They function great and still look like new. Great products and would certainly buy them again. Also the shipment and correctness of the order was perfect. There are a few different manufacturers of this style rope ring. I purchased this one because the metal strip that retains the D-ring extends to the mounting holes so it isn't completely relying on the rivets for strength. This part is built poorly with cheap stampings. The D-ring hangs up in the pocket and will not freely fall flat when not it use. It binds and protrudes from the pocket unless messed with to get it to lay flat.

Vertically mounted the Erickson Horizontal E-Track and used the Erickson E-Track Tie Down Rings with carabiners for easy height adjustments and swapping out different bands, just like at Fluid Health & Fitness where I take classes and work with a Movement Specialist. The 1 x 4 board is screwed to a wall stud and then the E-Track is attached to the board and into the sheet rock. The Man of the House says he "over-engineered" it. ??

I Installed approx 14 feet of e track Two rows long in my enclosed trailer to go under my tires for my side by side. It has worked out better than expected as I can secure things down the entire length of my trailer . The side by side is secured with wheel bonnets and does not move one inch while traveling from my place in Utah to my place in Wyoming. Love this product and highly recommend .
As requested, here are some pics of my e-track installation. I find the raised e-tracks in the floor very problematic and dangerous so I made sure they were recessed. This is now an extremely versatile cargo trailer.

Let me just start by saying I Love etrack! These tie off rings make loading the truck and trailers quick and easy. I even installed a couple on the side of my tailgate so i could strap down longer items when tailgate is open. (Dont forget to remove the ring when done and closing tailgate)
Best cargo anchors. Use them a lot on both my cargo and utility trailers....Shipping costs are nominal compared to other sites....
These e-track tie-downs are extremely useful for securing loads in our overlanding trailer for off-road driving. Small, compact, strong and flexible location on the track. Glad to have them.

I've used these Erickson E-Track tie-off rings for many years in all my other trailers. I bought a new trailer and therefore, needed new tie-off rings. These units are the lighter version of ring available from Erickson and I've used both types to secure my ATVs. I've never had any problem with either tie-down. These units are plenty strong enough to hold any ATV, motorcycle. In fact, I've hit terrible potholes and other obstacles with my trailers over the years, that I've had ATV's pop the tie-down straps off. However, no matter how hard the jolt, I've never had one of these Erickson rings pull lose, bend, crack, or any other malfunction. In addition, they are super easy to remove, reposition, attach etc. They lock into position as soon as they are fully inserted into the E-tracks sytem.

Doug l - 07/18/2018I think these E-Track tie rings will work out perfectly. In another review, I review the E-track Wood Beam Sockets and how I made a tire rack and shelves in my car trailer using the E-Track which I also bought from E-Trailer.
I'll use these E-Track tie offs to tie down the tires, and any loose items on the shelves, so that they don't bounce around which on the road. It'll be a breeze to use either some straps or rope to tie down anything I need to, and having the flexibility to position these tie downs anywhere I want on the E-track, is absolutely perfect.
I also thought that they were priced fairly and made well. Add to those qualities all the benefits of doing business with E-Trailer and it's a home run!
Jim M - 10/06/2015Excellent product! I bought 2 of the 4-ft e-tracks. These are heavier duty than I thought they would be. They are extremely practical for my 10' wood floored utility trailer. If you are like me, there aren't many good tie down points on wood bottomed trailers. These are an easy fix for a host of applications. They work great for having multiple points to tie down my 4-wheeler or lawnmower. I will definitely recommend! The only better would have been free shipping.

I have a 20 ft enclosed cargo trailer that I planned to use to move from California to North Carolina. Was not sure about how to secure the load. Did some research and settled on the E Track system. Not having ever used E Track before, I found the instillation and use very simple. I installed two rows on each side the full length of the trailer. In the front I used the optional E track board holders and made a shelf 8ft by 4ft with 2 x 6's and a full sheet of plywood to secure fragile items. Two trips across the United States with very full loads and not one load shift. Great product and would highly recommend it. Thank you etrailer.com for your great service.
Dave B - 07/25/2017These feel a bit cheap and cheesy but they work great. I had installed E-track lengthwise (front to back) on the floor of my trailer and have a lot of need to tie loads with diagonal and/or track to track forces and these worked great for that, since they seem to be pullable in any direction without deforming. The heaviest item I fasten down is a walk behind lawn mower.
