This is a 2d attempt so, hopefully it doesn't come through twice. I purchased this to cover my hail damaged roof vent on my Cougar 5er & it works perfectly. The quality is great & the installation was simple. I'm very pleased with it & I like the fact I can keep my vent open when traveling. The only negative is, it doesn't say if it comes with mounting hardware so, I ordered some & now have an extra set of hardware.798360

This item is extremely important on an RV and is often overlooked! Even a small propane leak can be dangerous. It can even build up inside the propane tank cover. When I used my gas leak detector and found a leak in the tank area, I was surprised that it wasn’t due to a loose connection but was due to small cracks in the hoses. Even hoses that are protected under the cover and only 4 or 5 years old, they need to be checked thoroughly and replaced. Not only does this product incorporate safety features, but they are also made in the USA!1253135

Outstanding product! Easy to install except I had to get on the roof!!! Protects those crappy roof windows. It is easier to have two people do this job. One inside opening and closing the vent as needed.

This vent cover fit well over my Fan-Tastic Fan. Install was easy and the black color helps provide darkening in our motorhome. Our fan is near the front bunk so it is nice to keep the morning sunshine out if the kids want to sleep in. The quality of the vent covers seems good and it has held up well to the elements for over a year now.1282585

Fit perfect on my 2011 Nash 1529598

I put two of these on my trailer in June before going on my first epic trip to Ohio from Florida. They look great but I am not sure what happened as I lost two screws on the trip (no jokes). I saw two lock washers and the regular washers on the screen of my vent. When I went up on the roof and found the other two screws/nuts that were still holding the cover on were loose. I checked the screws on the cover up front and they were loose as well. I am glad they did not fly off while I was driving. I replaced the nuts with lock nuts and longer screws plus put the lock washers back on as well. 548072

They are still on and I have not had any issues with the nuts coming loose since putting on the lock nuts. I check them at least twice a year when I inspect the roof, wash and treat it. It is great when I travel as well because I open the vent and the hot air is pulled out which makes it bearable from the heat when we set up. I live in FL for yes it is hot.

We've transferred these from one travel trailer to our new 5th wheel and found these covers have held up to all of our weather conditions, heavy rain, wind, snow, even hail. When I was removing them from the old trailer I thought for sure they would be brittle and faded from the sun but nope! Other than a few scratches they looked like new and this is after 4 years with them. Installation is super easy (about 10 minutes) and love being able to keep our vents open to help regulate the inside temps of the RV without worrying about rain getting in. A recent hail storm broke clearance lights and the maxxair vent covers on my 5th wheel. Due to the excellent product descriptions etrailer has online I was able to order the correct replacements, this was especially true of the clearance lights. They are installed and fit perfectly. The maxxairs were originally installed mostly for hail protection for the camper vents, they worked in that regard but were ruined themselves. After more inspection the AC shroud and two more maxxairs need replacement those too I will order from etrailer.547929

Works perfectly to keep camper ventilated and not smelling musty. I chose blackened plastic color because it matched a/c and frig stack, but they don't let much light in. I suppose they do reduce the heat from the sun also, but I would have liked some more sunshine.640151
