One neatly packaged and attached the other scattered throughout the box. No damage to the box from shipping. It appears to have been packed at the warehouse that way.

The roof vent cover for our Fantastic Fan has been an excellent buy. Etrailer was very easy to work with and very accommodating. It w quite easy to install, looks nice and it protects the vent from wind and rain when open. Highly recommend it!
These covers are a savior for RV's - they help keep rain out while allowing air to flow through an open vent.
They are made of great quality and come with needed hardware for simple installation
This was a breeze to install. I did bring my tool bag with everything i needed, but only had to go down once to slightly close the lid as it was to open. I was in the midst of washing clothes so had my timer on already so I was able to note how long it took. it didn't even take more then 15minutes to install maybe faster on my next one as i was moving slow. Thank you E-trailer for the how-to videos. I'm sure my father was smiling down from heaven seeing his little girl taking care of the RV on her own. <3

The max air vent covers are the best. Easy installation and are screened which not only helps keep the bugs out but also helps stop the rain. Should keep the camping hauler a little cooler and drier. The tarp is just to keep the sun off.
It arrived early, and I installed it myself the same day. I’m very happy to have this on my trailer and be able to use my roof vent when it’s raining and blowing. My roof vent won’t blow up with the wind, and cause my rug and bathroom to be rained on. I’m so happy!
I had to return my original purchase because I bought the wrong item. Carol was quick to replace the correct one. It was so easy to install. I may have to do my other vent covers in the spring. Great company to deal with.
These were pretty easy to install. Thankful we can keep the vents open when it rains. Have to close them sometimes when it rains hard, or when it's a blowing rain, but we've never had to close them completely.
I am thankful the website provides as much information as it does. Otherwise, I would have bought the wrong cover for the Northern Breeze powered vent.
I have used these before, and the pair I installed a year ago has held up very well in the weather. I used less expensive brands, and they deteriorated to the point of extreme fragility within a couple of years. I have two standard cheap fans, not Fantastic Fans. The fan shrouds don’t open quite completely under the covers, but the slightly reduced ventilation area is minimal. This limitation is far outweighed by the ability to open the fan shrouds when it’s raining.
I recommend these to everyone wanting a vent cover, and that should be everyone who owns an RV. I do not understand why manufacturers do not make vent covers original equipment.
I am pretty happy with these! Ordered two, installed just fine on the enclosed trailer.
NOTE!!! The "screen" that came with them is not the one pictured, its a course plastic screen, holes are like 3/16" square, not expected, but I am ok with it.
These MaxxAir vents are great, easy to install. Should come standard on RVs.
E-Trailer comes through again. I bought with confidence here after making a few previous and flawless purchases. This time the box was short one vent cover, a quick email with pictures of box and a phone call and my missing cover was on its way. Thanks for the quick painless resolution.
As for the covers, plastic as most things these days but installed with confidence knowing they would do their job. Install was easy and straight forward even with my Lance 1575 "no walk on roof". Sat on edge and was able to do what needed to get done-center cover over vent, mark holes, drill holes, put brackets in place and bolt down. Easy as it gets and now fresh air in the rain is a crank turn or two away.
The wife and I made a weekend of this and sealed roof while up there. Camping season, we are ready. Thanks E-trailer and MaxAir!!
The instruction page told me what the web page didn't - this is not the cover for a Fantastic Fan like I have in my 2002 Casita. :(
But I had already received it and I'm in a rural area so sending it back isn't easy.
So I took the Fantastic Fan's vent cover off since it wouldn't open up all of the way and took the control panel off to put the mounting bracket screws through.
It appears that it will work now, but I'll have to rig up an indoor cover for cold weather. The FF cover let out lots of heat anyway so I'll make some kind of insulated cover.
Went on easily, covered old crank-out vent well. Can leave them open in the rain for trailer ventilation.
Looks to be of nice quality.

Ceiling fan mode circulates air when vent is closed.I installed this myself on a vintage camper. It fit perfect in the space where the old vent was. Wiring was simple, and cutting down the bezel was easy. I have left this open for months and even in storms and no rain gets in. Being able to keep it open keeps the camper from getting musty. I also like the tinted skylight effect it gives.
Work great, no problems with rain, snow or leaks. With solar panels we leave both fans on while Class A is unoccupied to keep humidity down and temperature cooler inside rig. We are very satisfied
William - 08/16/2019Added two of these to my travel trailer. Had to run electrical to both vent locations. These were well worth the effort to install. I can vent the hot air out of the trailer in about 30 seconds by running these fans with the side windows open. A great option for interior temperature control without having to run the AC. The fans can be noisy at the higher speeds but I usually run them effectively at lower speeds. I have been able to run these open in the rain with no issues. Love that they are low profile when closed during our travels.
Within a week after purchase the fan was rendered useless due to a very loud high-pitched squeaking sound on every speed setting. Not to doing some research I found that this is not a new issue and there's plenty of other people that have experienced the same. I contacted them and they said they would send me a new motor that I would need to install, I did not receive the motor until 3 months later causing me to have to delay a trip. I installed the new motor and am having the same issues. I cannot describe how disappointed I am having spent so much time and money now on this product. I live in a travel trailer and now I'm wearing ear plugs to sleep every night as the fan is my only way to regulate temperature.

Product arrived on time as promised. Ordering was easy. Etrailer videos etc. Are a great help in understanding the product and its installation. I highly recommend etrailer as a vendor for RV products.
Looks to be high quality but haven’t installed it yet. If it performs as well as it looks this will surpass my expectations.
The install was easy and the fan works as expected. It's raining now so I was able to confirm dry operation while raining which is an improvement over my old fan.
Great fan this makes two fans one in the bathroom and another in the living room. They create great airflow when we do our initial setup at the campsite. Cools the camper off very well.
Great upgrade for our travel trailer. Our trailer only came with a vent in the living room, no fan. We replaced the vent with this MaxxFan Deluxe which is really awesome. The biggest hassle of the install was removing the old vent, but that was done in about 30 minutes. Use a plastic putty knife to slowly scrap the old LAP sealant away. Then slowly pull up the old vent or fan, again using a plastic putty knife to work away any butyl tape under the old vent/fan. Clean the roof with isopropyl alcohol. Then put new butyl tape under the MaxxFan flange, stick it down. Cover the edge with Dicor LAP sealant. Install the fan on top of the flange. Go inside and connect the wires. Then install the trim piece, trim if needed. Overall took me two hours and I was leisurely with a lunch break.
Trustworthy company in my opinion. My product arrived on time and in good condition. Easy to install and haven't had any problems with the fan for this first year. I can not comment on customer service since I didn't have any issues or concerns, but they seem to be on top of their game with follow-ups and whatnot. I will do business with etrailer in the future.
the fan is very quiet, in fact I had to look to even make sure it was on. The hardest part was peeling the old butyl tape off and prepping the area for the new one. I like it a lot and it defiantly beats just a plain old vent.

Don G - 04/23/2020Just installed and so far so good. It’s almost silent on speeds 1 and 2 (out of 4). Installation was no problem but one tip: before you place the fan assembly down on the flange, ensure the holes in the metal clips are aligned with the holes in the flange. I pushed my clips all the way down so the holes weren’t aligned and I had to remove the fan, raise the clips up just a hair and then put the fan back on. Not a big deal but a minor pain when also trying to avoid touching the still-wet lap sealant. Otherwise, great upgrade!

Joey - 11/11/2022Good product at a good price. Easy to install. The box was damaged and the interior shroud was cracked. I was able to trim the damaged section off as it turned out to be excess to the installation process
Great product! It's now our new standard roof vent. Lead times are minimal as well.
I fell in love with this as soon as it was installed. I only wish i could have afforded the remote control unit as it would have worked out a lot better.

MaxxAir fan arrived on time. Installation was easy, just follow the enclosed instructions. Hardest part was removing the old vent, that takes the most time. Total time start to finish was about 3 hours.
Unit is good quality and workmanship. Very quiet running and easy to operate.
Just showed up and it was fast for free shipping. Don’t know about the fan yet. I’ll install it later today. Looks great though.
This is the fan that should be initially installed in every new RV. On low speed you can’t even here it run. The volume of air that it can move is fantastic.
MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent is a great product. The price from etrailer is great. Shipping was very fast. Received within 2 days of the order.
Easy install; hardest part is removing old one. Very quiet on low speed; nice to run when away. It makes a bit of sound on high, but moves quite a bit of air. I would NOT call it loud by any stretch. Great product!
