Ok so I over did it, but the seal Is excellent. One tube is plenty for the 2 holes drilled in the spare tire well. If fact you could do several. It just shy of a tube of toothpaste size to give some perspective.
Great adhesive quality upon applying , not to fast drying so u can move items around to line up holes like I was for trailer vents on side in race trailer . Haven’t used the trailer yet since thr rainy season to see if weather affects the bond but can tell u the grip is fantastic as we scrapped one of the vents accidentally against a building roof overhang and it creased the metal vent but did not displace, pull or unseal the vent! I would use this to mount anything to thr exterior of my trailer without worry!
Only bad thing I have to say about it is don't know if it was shipping or a factory defect but followed directions on package and cut nozzle to desired size and started squeezing it on my transaxle and the locktite started coming out of the side of the tube. So I'm out of half the tube.

David P - 07/16/2016I used this product to repair a leaking auger gearbox on my snowblower. It was critical that when repairs were completed the two part gear case be sealed completely. The directions were simple/straightforward and the product was easily applied. I used the snowblower all winter and the gearbox seal was perfect.

This black silicone gasket maker forms a high-quality gasket that seals the space between matched parts to prevent leakage of automotive fluids and gases. It meets manufacturers' specifications for original equipment.This went on without a problem on a 2022 Subaru Outback thankfully providing the built-in wiring harness that is located under the right side rear trim piece, I did not need to remove. I used 3M Dual Lock in case the control unit needs to be easily moved in the future. Using this for a OneUp Bike Rack and their license plate and LED light bar.
Bearing buddy is still on the trailer and the wheel is still turning.

IvanB - 06/09/2017I used this to seal the installation holes on my hitch mount. The stuff is very easy to work with and sets up nicely. Work great and provides a great finished seal.

I used this to seal the hole I had to drill in my car when installing my hitch to keep water and exhaust out of the cabin, it dried quickly and created a good seal to keep stuff out
works well, be careful on the pressure you apply. I applied too much pressure (i was rushing it) and it went out the back end... complete user error but be warned.

i used this product when I put together my cargo carrier. I put it on the bolts before I screwed on the nuts for added insurance to keep the carrier nice and solid.
I love it. I would highly recommend this product and most of all easy to install.
The carrier performs just as it was designed. Putting the rubber sleeves on was difficult and the sealer has already pealed of . Before I use it again I will put silicone caulk on the joints
This is the perfect RTV for way covers on CNC machines. They seal the coolant out and yet you can get the covers back off without damaging them.
This is the best RTV on the market for CNC way covers. It seals the coolant out and doesn't bend up the guards when removing them.

Used during 2012 VW Jetta TDI sedan hitch and wiring installation (per video recommendation).
Did not work to seal up my failing brake light gasket. Also very smelly in spite of being labeled as "low odor"
