The Furrion was a pain to use, we wanted something with an easy to read faceplate and remote, more intuitive command sets, and decent sound. The Jensen JWM72A fit the bill. Ordered it from etrailer and it was here in a couple days. Installation was straightforward (had to enlarge the opening and make a chart to match up the wiring) and had it installed in about two hours (would have been faster with crimp joints, but I soldered all the connections). Sounds great, all functions work as they should, and looks good. Like with any new technology, it takes a couple hours with the manual to really figure out all the functions, but that's fine. We are very happy with this entertainment system and with the service from Sarah and the etrailer team.
I bought this unit to replace the factory IRV66 infotainment center in our 2016 Rockwood Signature 8329SS, which I hated from the day we bought the trailer. I've replaced other AM/FM/CD/DVD units in previous trailer with Jensens, including one which we kept for 9 years. Have always been VERY satisfied with the Jensens AND their WORKING remote controls. Because of EXTREMELY limited horizontal space in which to replace the IRV66, only this unit or one or 2 others (different brands) would fit in the space that the IRV unit vacated. THANKS VERY MUCH, ETRAILER, for providing SO MUCH information, specifications, and details on the items you sell!!!) We are 110% pleased with this Jensen, which allows us to turn off OR ADJUST VOLUME AND BALANCE on speaker pairs A,B, & C INDIVIDUALLY. With the IRV66, ALL THREE speaker zones were energized AUTOMATICALLY and at HIGH VOLUME when we turned the unit on The volume on ALL THREE speaker zones was the same and could not be adjusted individually, and there was no way to control the BALANCE between each pair of speakers. With the Jensen, you not only can adjust volume and balance on each speaker zone's speakers, but also the option for using FOUR speakers (which includes a FADER control as well) for the living area, if the original unit had "home theater". I also used Speaker Zone 2 (which WAS our bedroom speakers) to feed the subwoofer installed in the trailer (which we rarely use), since we do not watch TV or listen to music in the bedroom (we SLEEP in there!! lol!), and the Jensen does not have 5.1 surround sound capability. (In actuality, neither does the IRV, because you can't adjust balance or fade, all you can do with it is MAKE A LOT OF NOISE.) I used polished acrylic (plexiglass) panels to cover the holes left above and below the horizontally-oriented Jensen when the vertically-oriented IRV66 was taken out. We are delighted to get back to a functional JENSEN unit!! Either the first or the last photo shows the vertically-oriented, original-equipment IRV66 (I don't know which order these photos will be arranged in by etrailer's software). We LOVE purchasing from etrailer. Their customer service is tops, and if there is anything wrong with your order or your merchandise, they actually WANT to know about it!! They are some of the best people I have ever dealt with for online purchases. These people are in MISSOURI, not INDIA, and THEY KNOW THEIR "STUFF"!!!
Our Jensen RV stereo arrived in just 5 days and was over $200 cheaper than ordering from our RV dealer. Installation was a breeze!!
Delivered on time. Box a bit beat up but no damage to product. etrailer has always been one of my go tos. Always great! Good prices consistently.
Stereo for my RV is excellent. It would have been five stars but I paid for next day air and it arrived four days after my order.
One year later, still runs well especially in extreme heat here.
Absolutely AWESOME, ... all the way from Tim handling the initial order, staff putting order together n on its way to Orofino, Idaho, ... Love the product, ;) ... Thanks for the NICE EXPERIENCE, ...
Pretty good unit for it's size. You get a lot of function in a single din form factor. However , I had to learn the hard way that the HDMI output (HDMI ARC) on most of these units only support audio output and not video output. Some clarification for us newbies would be great. Install was easy and quick.
So far so good. I bought this unit to replace my Jenson jwm9a that was used maybe 3 times then crapped out. The 70 is slimmer, easier to use and looks better. Because I was replacing a jensen with a jensen it was basically plug and play. My only problem is what to do about securing it and aesthetics from going smaller. By the way, this was my 1st time ordering from etrailer. They were OUTSTANDING!
etrailer.com was easy to work with and kept me in the loop as to when my product was to be shipped and its delivery date. Product installation was easy since I was upgrading from an older model. The unit is working just fine and no problems that I can report.
I received the DVD player in excellent condition. I installed it this afternoon and it works great thank you for a great service

The free jControl smartphone app lets you adjust the volume up and down.We replaced the original radio in our 2015 Wildcat with this unit because it has Bluetooth capabilities. It interchanged easily and sounds great.
Radio & CD worked fine. Just had to modify the opening to fit the width of the radio
After 8 months the unit started acting up and would only play one episode on a DVD the had multiple episodes on it. They honored the warranty and sent me a replacement right away. The first DVD I tried to play didn't go well. It played the scenes in a random order and the movie made NO sense. It eventually started working right and I am still using it after 5 months.
It is a good stereo, but the clock always runs fast.
And, I never could get a good antenna for it. We are often about 20 to 30 miles from a big city, and it is difficult to pull in radio stations. I wish that Jensen would offer an antenna made for this product. I used a car radio antenna and it is fair only.
Great product..Delivery was faster than I had expected which was great. Mounted in my 5th wheel. My previous system was years old.(played small cassette cartridges if that’s an indication) No cds or dvds. So this is definitely a plus. Setup was quick and easily understood..Sound is great..The simplicity of cd/dvd/radio is so nice..Fit Perfect in area I had decided to mount..Everything lights up so it is easily seen from a distance. Completely satisfied with this product..
I was a direct fit in the cabinet the wiring was a pain I hooked some up wrong and had to go back and change them probably the Budweiser that I was drinking that day. Just saying. It’s a stereo. Put it in about a year ago. No problems with it at all. I updated my speakers with some Jensen speakers the only ones that came close to fitting in the holes in the ceiling and it sounds good. I’m pleased with it. A review said that theirs was over heating from not getting air so before I put it in I drilled some holes in the back of the cabinet for ventilation and again It was a good choice
Fit perfectly and looks great, but the wiring instructions were not there for the do it your selfer
I gave the unit 4 stars only because changing settings is not very intuitive. Either the time display doesn't work, or I'm too lazy to read the manual. Not an issue for me. I installed the unit where an upright factory CD/radio was in a 32' travel trailer. I didn't want to tear into the cabinets in my RV, so I installed the unit on it's side. Works perfectly, never skips, play back is fine. It's in my RV, so I would never use it while we're bouncing down the road anyway. The DVD output jacks are red, white, yellow, not HDMI. Another non issue for me. I have it hooked up to a non-smart Sharp 1080 TV, play back works great. With 3 different speaker zones, I can control the overhead speakers easily. Great for my rig. When watching a DVD, I playback through the speakers in the rear of the RV. For music, we pipe it through all the zones. Bluetooth works great, easy to pair, so I can listen to the music on my phone or internet, when it's available. The replacement stereo was over $800, so I'm extremely happy with this unit. We got rid of the old TV with a built in DVD player, and upgraded to a new Sharp. Both the Jensen and the new TV combined were $200 less than the replacement OEM stereo, which was junk anyway. Many happy RV outings later, we're still happy with it. Mounting it sideways was definitely a concern, and it's not recommended, but no issues with playback. Lots of wires to play with to get all three speaker zones working correctly, and of course my RV did not give me a wiring diagram. The remote looks cheap, but it functions perfectly 15' away, and survives being bounced around in the kitchen utensil drawer.
This was a three beer project! It takes a bit to sort it all out, but installation went smooth. We love the radio and the app works great to control the volume while sitting at the fire. Nice upgrade and works great one year later.
Parts ordered are as described. Unfortunately one part was not shipped with original order. I called Carol C.
At etrailer who made sure the part was sent and arrived in a timely manner. Thank you Carol and etrailer.
We were very pleased with this stereo. It was daunting at first,to see all of the wires that needed to be connected, but upon calling etrailer, we were supplied with help and answers.
We are thrilled to have a stereo in our camper that's up and working!
Personal customer service, regular order updates, emails are usually responded to within minutes and in stock items roll out the door same day.
Thanks
Camella was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product. She made the buying experience a pleasure to do business with E trailer,
I Put In In My Camper With A Small Booster For Sound And I Love It.
Easy installation, fit perfect.
Was a direct replacement for my existing Radio .
Sound is great. Very happy with this radio.
They had exactly what I needed and it showed up exactly when they said it would. Great service and thanks to Bell Camper Sales, I can now shop where the pros do!
This stereo fit perfectly into the Furrion slot in my Jayco HT fifth wheel. Good sound. Not hard to install. The Furrion that came with the camper quit working after only 3 years and this unit replaced it. The folks at eTrailer were very helpful when I inquired about a replacement. The price was reasonable.
Had minimal trimming required for fit in the original opening. Works great!
I installed this radio to replace an 8+ year old Jensen AWM970 in my trailer. The radio looks good and fits the same cutout so the physical install is simple. The electronic install is annoying because the original install was done at the factory and there were no labels on the speaker wires and the labels on the new wires are somewhat cryptic using a code such as A_RR- . A listing with English explanations would be HELPFUL. I was able to find a listing online from the user manual of both radios to figure out which wires go where and another slight confusion because the JWM60A has front and rear "A" speakers the old radio did not . also the old radio had a +12 v (unswitched) for memory, the new radio apparently doesn't need that. The JWM60A has all of the function of the old radio but it is NOT as good a RADIO. Selection is terrible. I scanned and found NO FM or AM STATIONS. the old radio had 15 or 20 from the same antenna installed in the same location. was finally able to pick up 3 stations . A poor tuner. This is admittedly a fringe area but, again the old radio was able to tune in LOTS of stations.
Was advertised to fit in the same space as AWM960. It didn't. The JWM62A will fit in the same hole, but it is longer front to back. I could not get it fully into the wall. Also, the DVD player only plays audio, no video.
Old technology good if you want to to replace earlier model, plug & play. Jensen products are very average on a great day
It plugged in perfectly to the existing wiring and everything that was supposed to function function as it should. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend them
The product is fantastic and the tech had no problem installing. I would definitely buy from this supplier again!
Love this unit. Replaced an IRV33 unit that never worked properly from Day 1. This unit sounds good and has all the functions that I need. As others have said, it's not a real powerful unit, but half-volume will fill up my trailer with plenty of sound. Bluetooth remote works great. Had to modify my cabinet opening as this unit is more rectangular shape than the original IRV unit that was installed in the trailer.
