I only need them for towing during the summer so did not even open the boxes until this week, April 2022. Imagine my surprise to find out that the mirrors do NOT fit my car. I immediately sent an e-mail requesting process to return and exchange for mirrors that would fit. Today I received a response stating sorry they don't fit but our returns policy is 60 days and I was outside of that time. I should try selling them locally! I could understand if the mirrors were no longer carried by etrailer but they are still in stock. And I'm not asking for a refund but an exchange. Very disappointed in this company!
Very disappointed by how it was shipped, esp by a so keen on good marketing. Item was shipped in its original manufacturer box with just a mailing sticker put on it. It arrived totally ripped, barely sealed enough to hold the contents and even the factory packing ripped and a mess. It should have been put in an outer shipping box.like previous order I received from you. I have rescinded my recommendation to my brother in law to buy wheels and tires from you for his camper. I don’t know how the mirror survived not being broken but it wasn’t. However, I now don’t have a box to store it in when not in use.
Charles - 06/07/2022The product in theory works well. But, on an RV trip I found the mirror laying on the ground one morning after it fell off the product. Clearly the adhesive was not very good. The mirror luckily broke in half and I was able to get it back in place to complete my trip. I then ordered a replacement part for my GMC Sierra and was sent a replacement driver side mirror for a Dodge Ram (and yes, I did order a part for a GMC.) The customer service rep was very helpful. Ended up ordering a part off of [online vendor] since I could could only get it 3+ weeks with etrailer vs 2 days with [online vendor].
From start to finish this was a great buying experience! Website was easy to use, my product showed up in a couple days, they fit perfect on my mirrors. Don’t be deterred if the box shows a different year than what you asked for, it still might fit because the model hasn’t changed. I have a 2020 RAM 1500 Classic, parts came in for earlier model. Still fit because RAM hasn’t changed the size of the mirrors. Excellent quality and a fair price. Definitely sturdier than the strap on mirrors you see elsewhere online. Will keep this store in my favs for future needs.
Ordering from etrailer was exactly what I was hoping for, fast courteous service. The mirror was exactly what I wanted. Polite, helpful. I will definitely shop here again.
They are ok for what they are. Easy to install and remove. They do not show as much as I thought but enough since I dont have factory tow mirrors.
Mirrors look nice, but both were incomplete. The packages had been opened before being shipped and some small parts removed. I immediately contacted etrailer and asked them to send the small parts (neoprene rubber strips). Etrailer's response was to send me this survey. the first less than ideal interaction with etrailer in dealing with them for about 5 years.

Sierra K - 10/13/2021After I placed my order, I noticed they were shipping my mirrors to my billing address and not where I am at currently. I immediately sent an email to this affect. Today getting an email stating my item was delivered. But I’m not there. Please recall the order and ship to the address I wrote the day of the purchase. In the alternative, send another email and I will send m address.
This is personal but I do not like the figment and found the mirror did not give me the advantage/visibility I thought it would. So I used it once and put it on the shelf. It may work fine for others I just do not care for it.
It's not bad but after a while you fo have to adjust and tighten them down.

Don - 05/03/2022Using this website's "select year, make model" for my 2017 Toyota Tacoma, I ordered and received it. Much to my chagrin, it didn't fit in any form or fashion. There is no return sticky in the box so now I have to waste my time (and theirs') trying to get my money back.
You sent the wrong ones I ordered for a Chevy Silverado you sent a dodge. Also they were both driver side!
Sierra K - 09/10/2021I'm not completely disappointed but unsure. When ordered, specific to 2011-2017 Expedition, this came up as fitting. When box arrived, I was shocked to see a label on box saying fits Ram Pick-up trucks! I went to CIPA website immediately for their fitment chart, thinking the wrong part was sent. Turns out CIPA doesn't make a specific mirror to mount on my vehicle. They do mount and I can "rig" them to work, but there are gaps, loose areas, etc. At $50 for (1) mirror at driver's side that is a bit much seeing as they fit perfectly on those RAM truck mirrors. etrailer website is deceiving customers in saying these mirrors fit my vehicle. Here again, if I paid $30 okay, but I paid $50 total for a mismatch, even supported by manufacturer. I hate sending things back and barely ever do, but this stinks and I have bought tons of stuff from etrailer.com.
Great product! I use them on all my trailers as well as my travel trailer. This is actually me second set...the first got destroyed by a hit n run and i could not live without them!

Mirrors wont stay on existing mirror,the twist lock mechanism doesn't hold the mirror on like it says it does.

Overall these are nice mirrors and fit well on my Ram 1500.
I am only rating two stars because the mounting screws and threads in the mirrors are not compatible and the lead threads on the screws galled during first install. This will require me to rethread the screws and holes before using the mirrors. It appears that the non threaded end of the screw is too large and damaged the threads in the mirror. I may even need to change to a metal screw to make them work.
Great product. Easy to install and work great. etrailer.com shipped the mirrors quickly and I received them ahead of schedule!
got the mirrors and tried the on our 2012 Dodge 1500 truck and they fit well there is a litle play on the outside ends up and down, don't know where or not this will effect the end use with vibration. if so i am going to put a little neoprem in and this should stop the vibration. the only reason i am not giving them an excellent is i won't have them on the truck in use for a couple of weeks at least.

I rarely use them when I am towing our travel trailer. My wife likes to put them on when she drives, but I think she uses the cameras on the travel trailer more than the mirrors. She really likes the design and ease to install over our Ram Rebel 1500 mirrors.
I have a 30 foot camper I pull and the mirrors are perfect. Easy on, easy off. I usually leave them on because it helps with the blind spot. Well worth the cheap price. If these ever break I’ll just buy them again.
Vaughn F - 09/12/2021This is the first mirror that I have found for a 2005 Dodge 1500 pickup.
They attached very easily and quickly. They just snap on. I took them for a ride and at 70 MPH they stayed in place. However at that speed, the mirror did vibrate a little, however I think that happens with any extended mirror. I would buy them again if I need another set.
Loel K - 06/03/2014I've had these mirrors since November 2018 and they have been great. I tow a 28ft camper with my 2018 Ram Rebel, but I don't have the factory tow mirrors. With these mirrors I see the rear corners of the camper. They mount firmly without scratching the truck's plastic. The mirrors are small, but they get the job done. I have automatic folding mirrors and they make contact when its folded, but I haven't had any trouble. They also come in a drawstring carry bag. You can't beat it for the price.
A great alternative to buying replacement tow mirrors if you don't need them every day. Adjustment of the mirror itself can be a little tricky, but with patience it's not too bad. Make sure when installing, you pull down on the bottom part of the housing so it doesn't scratch the OEM mirror housing.
Overall, I would recommend these because they don't look like an "afterthought" when installed.
The mirrors fit perfectly and are easily installed. The storage bag is awesome to protect the mirrors when not in use and being stored. Shipping packaging was a bit overkill but there was no chance of breakage. Haven't used them yet as it is still winter and won't be able to go camping for a couple more months. So I can't comment on vibrations or lack of. The fit snug so I'm thinking there wont be any.
I used them to tow my new camper back home from the dealer about 200 miles with my half ton. These lock onto the mirror tight and do not move, I was pulling against a 35 mph head wind, sometimes hitting the side. Very well made, much better looking than all the others I have found. View was fairly good, they are a little tough to adjust by yourself, adjust, run to drivers side and sit, hmmmm, not quite, run back to passenger side, adjust, back to drivers side, sit....But all in all and very good product and I have no complaints at all. I would buy these again in a heartbeat if I had my 1500 again. Not a great picture below, but you can see they do not block the turn signal on the mirror and they do not make the truck look like dumbo at all..
The order came very quickly and I didn't add expedited shipping. The mirrors were exactly as advertised in the product description. They snapped on my truck perfectly and the puddle/turn signal lights on the stock mirrors are completely visible.
I will use these when I tow my camper. The stock Ram mirrors didn't let me get a good view to know I was clear when passing another vehicle; these extension mirrors are perfect for the task.

After researching this product and nobody really being able to answer the question whether or not these would fit on a Ram 1500 classic, I stumbled upon the etrailer web site and low and behold there was a picture of these mirrors on a 1500 classic so I ordered them. Product arrived quickly and mirrors were installed in a matter of seconds. They look great just like factory mirrors. They work great and make all the difference in the world when you are towing an 8 foot wide trailer.

Product works and fits great. Shipping, not so good. Box came as shown in the photo. Damaged and advertised on my porch. They could have boxed the item to protect it. Im glad I purchased the other items I needed from [online vendor] and not here. That many unpackaged items would have been easy for porch pirates to identify and steal items. Shipping was a little slow too. This was the last item to arrive after ordering items from 3 different vendors.
I used them for the first time yesterday. I pulled a 8.5’ wide trailer for about two hours .The towing mirrors worked great. I was able to see behind the trailer and the mirrors were steady with no vibration.The mirrors were an easy install and fit over existing mirrors nicely.
They work great when towing our travel trailer with our 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. Exactly what we needed when we travel. Easy to install and remove and they come with a storage bag with divider.
Great fit and function. More economical than replacing whole mirrors. This is my second set and I would buy them again for any vehicle to tow with.
I rate these in the middle and here is why. First they are for a newer RAM 2500. The design is really good and the extension blends with the factory mirrors. Installation was easy following the directions and they have stayed on tight. Buying them from eTrailer worked out well - no problems. The issue comes down to one of the reviews I read about vibration. I have had them on now for two months. I have tightened and loosened the mirror screw using a long shaft phillips screwdriver (per instructions), but both still vibrate at highway (max 65 mph towing) speed. This makes it somewhat dicey when using them as you have to concentrate longer (and take you vision off the road in front of you) to see if there is anything in your path before pulling over or changing lanes. By the way the OEM mirrors are rock solid, meaning no vibration clear as can be. So overall the rating is 3, in the middle because of the functionality of the units.
Robert - 06/02/2020These work great for what they are - temporary towing mirrors. If I was going to tow more than three times a month, I would probably buy some dedicated towing mirrors and install those rather than just clip these on. The problem with these is that the passenger side is hard to look out. Everything in the mirror seems so small. Don't have that issue with the drive side, however.

2015 Ram 1500: These snapped on without any problems and the fit is tight. The inboard lower edge will not allow the mirrors to fold flat, however, as someone else mentioned, you can just trim a bit off and it is fine.
The only very small downfall is that when the mirrors are brought into the side of the truck, the extension causes them to compress a little to tight. My wife loves the look of them on the truck and they will work perfect when I am pulling my 38ft travel trailer. I also like the easy installation and that they are removable when not towing.

Nice mirrors easy on and off might want to take them off truck when not occupied mine got lifted at gas station but they worked good will be buying product again soon
Once you put the mirrors on you can’t even tell they are add ons they look like they are the actual mirrors for the truck. I can see the trailer and beyond clearly with very little bounce or movement. I would highly recommend these mirrors.
Work well...easy to install and remove...I added a convex spot mirror to them both and they are strong!
