• The only difference between the Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch part # C607-604 and Curt EZr Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch part # C611-624 for a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 is the center locator tool that comes with the EZr. This helps to drill out the center hitch ball hole but aside from that they are pretty much the same. I recommend the EZr because of the added tool but if you are a more experienced installer, you can get away without it and save some money.

Both the # C607-604 and # C611-624 are a great fit that will for all intents and purposes work just as well as the other. For the most part the EZr is a smaller version that very similar but slightly different ball.

• Both gooseneck hitches are the same, but the # C611-624 (which is the C60680 kit) that includes the vehicle specific mounting rails also includes the center locater kit that makes drilling the hole in the bed for the gooseneck ball much easier. The C60710 which we sell as part # C607-604 doesn't included the center locater kit. The # C607-604 weighs right at 100 lbs, and the # C611-624 weighs in right at 110 lbs. Both of these will definitely fit your 2012 Chevy Silvedrado 3500 with the 6.5" foot bed and I have install videos linked below. • The center sections are different on the Curt Double Lock part # C607-604 and EZr Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch part # C611-624 for a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500. The Curt Double Lock has multiple slots for the safety chain u-bolts and the EZr does not so if you look under the hitch then you should be able to tell which you have.
