Overall, I am very pleased with my BAKFlip MX4. It has held up well after 1 year. It works well and looks good. It matches my matte black accessories and trim. It was fairly easy to assemble but I did have some tight fitment issues near the cab where the cover connects to the rail. I really like the security of the hardtop and access through the tailgate. Water is generally kept out, but sometimes there are water drips near the tailgate depending on the angle parked. So this cover keeps the bed *mostly* dry.

This is the third MX4 that I have owned. This one is on Ford’s Maverick. The first two fit well but not perfect. I don’t really know if the slight issues were the fault of the truck or the cover. This cover is the best yet. Absolutely no leaks!! The fit to the tailgate is very uniform!! When ever I need a cover, I don’t even look at te competition. These are great covers.

I have owned this cover for over a year and it has been excellent. It keeps the bed fairly dry as expected and I have had no mechanical issues with it as it still performs like new. I would say the only improvement I would suggest is better foam weather striping for the front of the bed as the original never stuck to the spray in liner very well and eventually came lose and then I just swapped with some similar weather striping I bought locally.

I love the cover, very sturdy and has held up very nice for 1 year. The one issue is, I have a long bed Ram and when I fold it up against the cab, it covers the camera for the bed. This is a design flaw and if you use the bed camera when you have a load in the bed and the cover is folded all the way up, you can't use it.

The cover functions ok. The tailgate leaks quite a bit. The manufactured edges that where cut were sharp and not painted or treated. The weather strip along the edges has already discolored/faded. Disappointed in the fading and less than ideal sharp edges. Somewhat expected leaks, but not this much. Average at best rating, especially for the price.

All is well....except, the caps at the joints of the folds keep popping out of place. leaving unsightly bludges in the top. With some work you can pop them back in place, sometimes easily sometimes not. Overall pleased, this is our 2nd BAKFlip and would purchase again.

So after a year I am still loving this bed cover. Had the fiberglass version for my 2013 F-150 and loved it as well, that's why I purchased this one for my 2019 Super Duty, it was also the first accessory I purchased for it because I was so used to my other one and knew I couldn't live without it. I never installed the drain tubes on either covers and still haven't had water get it my bed. Also the folks at etrailer are always awesome! Thanks again!

I am a huge fan of the BAKFlip. The installation was pretty straight forward and easy. Anybody with moderate mechanical ability can install. I think it took less than 2 hours. I live in a heavy snow area and had more than 24” of snow on it at one point and the product performed flawlessly.

Easy to install, and it holds up pretty well. The straps that hold it down when partially open can get in the way and one clip got broke. You have to be careful when loading big things with the top down that you don’t snag the straps, clips or cables. The prop rods are good but can get beat up by the loading process too. Also the knobs for the prop rod keeepers can fall off in the bed when the cover is closed. You need to make sure they are tight. Over all a great product, I love that it is strong, flat and solid and makes the whole bed secure. Also handy to set things on when working around mid the truck or for carrying stuff.

It was very easy to install even though I had never installed a tonneau cover before. One year later, the finish is still excellent. I never installed the drain tubes to divert any water from the outside but very little water ever infiltrates past the cover even when I wash the cover with my hose. One minor thing that can be an issue is when unlatching and latching the middle of the five panels, the end cap on the hinge near the bedrails sometimes disengages. The cover still closes if I didn't notice the disengagement but I'll just flip back and tuck the end cap back in to the hinge, no big deal. Overall very sturdy and durable. My neighbor wants one now.

Installation was easy, although it has never aligned perfectly. It has worked well, although it has been designed to be usable in the open position with the last panel (closest to cab) closed and the folded portion strapped into position. I bought it specifically for that so I could access my 5th hitch and tow, with a portion covered. It seems to be stressful on the cover to use it this way…all of the foam bumpers have worn off and have even put some dents in the cover. It’s a great concept, but could use some design tweaking.

I like the tonneau cover a lot! It's sturdy and helps keep belongings out of sight, out of mind. I had to cut the rail as it was about an inch too long for my truck but besides that the install was easy.

After a year of using the cover I found that there are a few things that could be improved and you can do some of these yourself.
The knobs for the cover that actually hold it into the bed-vibrate loose. I added my own lock washers. The poles that you use to hold the cover up when the cover is raised up against the back window-they also vibrate loose-so often that I just removed them and keep them under my seat. The little u-clip pole holders for the poles when not in use-they are too weak-often letting the poles jump out or fall out during normal road driving.
The cover itself is not waterproof --it sheds water away mostly however enough gets into the bed that you can not trust your items to be dry. Bag important stuff to keep it dry.
The rear weather seal slides back and forth too easily--sometimes working itself out about 2 inches until you see it and slide it back into place--i addenda small amount of silicone to stop this from moving.
The cover is strong, looks good and is mostly what I was looking for. Unfortunately I would not buy this again-even more because you have to relocate the bed accessory rails-which then limits the items you can buy for your truck because they are designed for the rails to be in the factory positions.
My next cover will be a roll up so that it allows visibility out of the back window. When this cover is flipped up to its final position it completely blocks the rear window. When I was looking at covers-my thought was well its the coolest looking cover and I can deal with not seeing out the back window--well that has changed. It is not practical. The price is high and there are many other options out there that are. My soft roll up tonneau cover was great-waterproof and I could have bought 6 of them for this price. If one was damaged it would have been better to just throw it away and order a replacement. Sorry guys-look elsewhere for a better cover.

The rollback cover is excellent. It is designed well, and went on my 2003 Silverado easily and it fits well. The only negative I have with my new cover is when it arrived from the manufacturer (BAK), it was full of aluminum chips. As I unrolled it to install it they were wrapped into the cover. I was getting aluminum chips everywhere. The cover had them rolled in the fabric cover, I got them on/in my hands, and on the painted surface of my truck. That was my only concern. eTrailer.com is to be commented on their commitment to customer service. They kept me informed on the progress of the tonneau build continually. Thanks to all at eTrailer.

I like the idea of this cover rolling open or closed and the fact it locks when closed. Problem is the plastic guides that push into the aluminum rails do not stay in place. When rolled open and strapped down bouncing down highway the weight of the cover pushes these plastic guides out and allows seal to be damaged and to come out of its grove. I had to insert pieces of wood into the track to hold guides in place at front of track. I pull a 44 ft toy hauler around USA so cover stays rolled open for weeks at a time. The weight of rolled up cover smashes the guide pieces out of place. In the picture that’s paint stir sticks with foil tape on them so they stay dry.

Love how its flush with the bed and ease to roll in and out on one side. Does not derail or misalign through bumps or long distance drive. does not obstruct heavy loads and adds a protectant to the back glass. Have not test the effect on MPG as MPG is not a factor in trucks. Heck I even put holes in my gas tank [roll eyes]

Installed well. Would help if one had a second person. I am 65 and still installed on my own. Excellent fit. Very happy with unit.
Will be traveling country and needed to have some security and yet need to be able to have large items in bed of truck at times. No need to take a cap off and all the hassles that go with that.

I have found the cover easy to install. It still works fine 1 year later. It is easy to roll up using one hand. The only problem I experienced so far is occasinal failure of the wire to release the cover on the driver side of the cover when operatred from the tailgate on the passenger side. Its otherwise been a perfect product keeping even the worst rain and snow out of the back of my pickup.

Overall I'm satisfied with the product, but for the price I expected a little better attention to detail. The fit and finish leaves something to be desired. All the parts are just cut and are not finished or cut evenly for that matter (see pics). It gives the overall feeling of a hastily finished product. Plus I've already to replaced some parts due to breakage. Fortunately they were rreplaced free of charge. But it does the job and fits my needs, so I'm giving it 3 stars.

Great tonneau cover! It's amazing how easily a well made product installs. I replaced my soft folding IMPORTED tonneau cover with this sweet piece and I can honestly say I now understand the difference in price. The Revolver X2 fits flush, looks great, closes securely, and just makes me feel a little cooler knowing it's back there ( I need all the help I can get). Bottom line, I was apprehensive spending so much for a tonneau cover but now that I did I will shout from the rooftops "YOU GOTTA GET ONE OF THESE REVOLVER X2s!" etrailer is a no-brainer as well, you can buy BAK tonneau covers from dozens of other retailers but I know etrailer, I trust etrailer, and I know if there's ever a problem (which I doubt there will be) etrailer will be there to fix it.

Clean look and easy to use. Still very satisfied with my purchase after 1 year. I installed it on a 2018 Honda ridgeline. My only complaint is when I purchased the product, it took them 3 delivery to provide the right attachment parts for my vehicle. Poor workmanship from the manufacturer. This problem as nothing to do with etrailer, which I'm happy with.

Well, not so happy with the product. The carpeting fell off on the underside of the cover. Also the right side of the cover towards the tailgate shrank. Its been a few months since I started to have those issues and should of contacted you earlier for warranty. Hopefully its not too late for a warranty claim.

We bought (2) of these covers a year ago and would definitely highly recommend them. This is a well thought-out, nicely featured and well designed product of excellent quality. In the past we used Velcro strip hold-down "tarp-type" Tonneau covers in the past and will never go back. These covers roll up effortlessly and very quickly compared to the Velcro type. And, (as long as you keep the lock-down bar & track clean) they just as effortlessly roll out, lay down, lock down, and stay down - no stretching and having to take time working to get the tarp tight so that it doesn't "flap" in the wind. Wonderful product.

I am really glad I bought this cover. I looked and looked and ended up with this hardtop aluminum roll-up cover. It was easy to install, fits well and is secure. I am able to roll it up and snap it down and still pull a fifth wheel without having to remove the cover, a big plus.
My only issue is the tie down buckle and straps are poorly conceived. The snaps should be redesigned for easier access and use. One of the snaps broke early on and I had to find a replacement.

Well,I do like the tonneau cover ,but, when rolled up to to tow a 5th wheel where the rolled cover sits stowed it has damaged the cover by punching thru the material. I suppose you don’t have a fix for this , like a wear strip that can be put over this for some protection .? With the weight of the rolled up cover in the stowed position for towing and the air and road vibration the cover moves just enough to wear thru the material , it would be good if you have a fix.

Secure straps for when the tonneau cover is rolled up ripped out of the washers holding to the frame. Tarp pulled away from rubber seal causing water leak. Latches on the side of the cover dont always latch into the track.

Hi Laura - I am still pleased with my BAK bed cover. I dont like it quite as well as the previous version I had on my other 2013 Nissan Frontier truck which got stolen, hence the new cover, but I am still pleased with the product. The new cover doesnt roll or latch quite as smoothly as the old one, but it still works well. They also slightly changed the clips for anchoring the rolled up cover, and I find them harder to clip in and maintain tension on the strap, but again they do work. Thanks for following up.

I couldn't be more pleased by this tonneau cover except if they found a way to make it magically disappear into the cab when I want to use the whole bed. It did its job throughout both summer and winter, keeping snow and rain out of the bed of my Tundra. By virtue of its unique rolling design, it's also one of the few options compatible with my TracRac: I can fully roll and unroll it no matter where the racks are placed.

The felt-like lining that lies on underside of cover (and acts as cushion for rolling?) had bad glue job. This material came off in under 1 year. Appears that the glue was not meant for hot weather, as it came off in summer heat. Disappointed. Mfg website does not provide instructions on what glue to use to reattach, so had to experiment to find glue that would work to reattach. Perhaps in future they should use mechanical attachment instead of glue method...

Love my BAK Tonneau cover. If there was one thing I've had an issue with is in the winter the track can freeze down and stop you from opening the cover. But other then that I am very happy with it.
