I have been very pleased with the gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter. So much so, that I bought a second one (but it was square tube not round). Having a fifth wheel camper, a flat deck trailer and a dump trailer all on fifth wheel hitches is awesome. They pull better than gooseneck (smoother), they hook up faster and nobody asks to borrow them!

Makes for a more stable hitch with the Ram Puck System, don't hear of feel the gooseneck down pipe flexing, makes hooking up easier in that I don't have to get up into the bed to close and lock the gooseneck lock. Yeah, glad I went this way. Easy install.

Don’t know if UPS damaged the packaging or they received it that way. Also need to talk to UPS because they just left it in my driveway. Haven’t made it home to check the package to see if the other item is in there and not damaged

Saves a lot of time instead of pulling the 5th wheel hitch in and out of the truck. I will use it on a short haul but if I was to go cross country I would go with the original set up. It does sit on a slight angle on the way it’s designed

Works great. saves me from removing my fifth wheel hitch to pull my gooseneck trailer since i use my fifth wheel for work it is always in the bed of my truck. Others i have looked at are smaller if you are planning on carring it in your toolbox for multiple trailers but for my application it works great i prefer the bigger pad since my trailer has a lot of tounge wheight thanks again etrailer

Product had some sharp edges that I easily ground clean. I have not used this adapter yet as my trailer towing plan had changed. However I will keep for future towing of gooseneck trailers. I think it is well built and will handle the task it is intended. This adapter is a good tool to have in your arsenal when the towing of gooseneck trailer with a fifth wheel hitch.

Nice part, meet all my expectations and fit my gooseneck car hauler to make it work with the 5th wheel plate on the toter. We were in a crunch and etrailer got it to us in two days! Although the pack could've been better, there was only sherds of a box left when we got it.

Paid a few bucks extra to get it here in two days. Actual price for shipping was less then the quote while buying, that was awesome. Minor detail was the fact that my trailer pin holes were not in perfect alignment with the world, but it really does not matter once its hooked up. And on top of that, anyone buying this hitch, is not hooking to a 40,000 lb trailer and needing the truck to raise the trailer. Hitch is fine just not 100% straight to the world.
This is an amazing part. Yes its bare metal and yes there are a few sharp edges that could be cleaned up. BUT, if you are looking for a show piece then buy the one that cost $300.00 bucks.
If you want quality and functionality then this kingpin adapter is amazing. I will swap this adapter every time I hook to a crappy goose-neck bone shaker.

If you know how much easier it is to hook and unhook from a fifth wheel than to lower and raise from a gooseneck then you will absolutely love changing your trailer with this adapter. After a year it has made life with my race trailer so much faster loading and unloading every weekend.

Was wanting to change my three trailers from gooseneck hitches to 5th wheel king pin hitches. Researched and found etrailer who kindly put up an informative video about there product, application & installation. I ordered the conversion hitch, received it quickly just as I ordered it. Excellent, I converted all my goosenecks to fifth-wheel kingpin setups. While the fifth-wheel hitch takes up more room in the bed than the gooseneck ball, the fifth-wheel couples and uncouples without having to get up into the bed. Additionally, with this setup, I no longer get the sway when braking or hard accelerating that comes with a gooseneck. This is true on all four of my four formerly gooseneck trailers.
