Hollywood Racks Rack Valet Rolling Storage Cart for Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks - 100 lbs
So as with another customer I have a Thule T2 Pro XT and the rack will not insert in far enough for the locking pin on the rack to engage. So rather than drill a hole in my new valet I assembled it with the receiver section reversed. Now I can put the rack on and it slides far enough in that locking pin engages. (Check out the photos.) This is the reason for the 4 star review. Other than that it seems to be sturdy and definitely serves the purpose it was designed for.
I wanted to bring to your attention a problem I am having with my recent order for the:Hollywood Racks Rack Valet Rolling Storage Cart for Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks - 100 lbsItem # HRRV-1, which I just received. As you can see from the attached picture, the bike rack doesn't fit into the storage rack because the pin cannot reach the hole where it secures the system. It falls short by about an inch of reaching the hole. The rack I have is the Thule T2 Pro XT, and the picture attached below shows the reason why - namely the housing of the pin comes in the way of moving the rack further to be able to reach to hole. You can see the Hitch Pin Alignment Collar on the floor, but even after removing the latter it didn't fit. I did ask one of your reps whether the Hollywood storage cart would be compatible with the Thule rack which I had & she said it would be fine. I don't know if you have a solution, but if not I guess I'll just have to live with it - albeit a little less securely.
