So this is an interesting cargo box in that it's not really designed as a rooftop cargo box, you can definitely see those options here at etrailer, like the Yakima CBX, where it's a lot more aerodynamic. So this is a ladder rack cargo box, a little bit different from the rooftop cargo boxes you might've seen around. You can see it's not as aerodynamic, but it has its own special features. This one is super easy to take off and carry into your camp site. Then you have the hard shell tote to keep it on top of your vehicle when you're driving.

So this is a rooftop cargo box, but as you can see, we have it here on our ladder rack, on our Toyota Tacoma. So this is the Yakima OverHaul HD, and we have the extra large HD bars. So I was really curious about, was it gonna fit on our ladder rack How much space do we have around it Will it fit around our larger bars So we're gonna take a look in this test fit at the answers to all those questions and just see how it works and interacts with other things on there too.

Evangeline: Hi, it's Evangeline 00:00:00 from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our etrailer large cargo basket on our 2020 Toyota Tacoma.Now, what's great about this cargo basket is if you need to free up some space from your truck bed, you can throw it up into your cargo basket. It's pretty easy to install. The way it's installed is to protect your truck all the way as well as it's super adaptable to whatever you need. It comes apart into three different pieces, which you can switch in and out just so that you can have the best day possible. Let's take a look at all the other different features it has.With the cargo basket on our truck, you have to remember that you have some excess height added to your truck roof. From the top of our bars here to the top of the rack is nine inches.



Yakima Roof Basket Review - 2020 Toyota Tacoma

Hi it's Evangeline from etrailer.com, and today you are looking at the Yakima off-grid cargo basket on our 2020 Toyota Tacoma. Now what's great about getting a cargo basket like this is that if you want to maximize your space in your truck bed, you can store things inside there, as well as outside of it. This also works on roof racks. We don't have a roof rack on our truck right now. So it's attached to our Yakima bedrock HD racks, which sits more low-profile, but it works just as well on other factory racks. So we have this here on our Tacoma, and as you can see, I like this size because I can also attach mount things on our rack here beside the cargo basket, because this cargo basket has dimensions outside of 40 by 44.



Yakima Roof Basket Review - 2019 Toyota Tacoma

John: Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com and today we have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. We're test fitting the Yakima OffGrid cargo basket. This has a 165-pound weight capacity and it's a great way to add some more cargo space to your pickup. It has an overall length of 44 inches and an overall width of 40 inches, but internally you're adding here about 39 inches by about 38 inches worth of cargo area. You do have the integrated crossbars here you can kind of move front and back and the back end here is open. So it really opens up the possibilities of what kind of cargo you can fit.As you can see, we still have plenty of space underneath the cargo basket here to store extra stuff.



Inno Roof Basket Review - 2019 Toyota Tacoma

John: Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Toyota Tacoma, we're test fitting the Inno Roof deck platform rack. This is a great way to add more cargo carrying room to your pickup without having to toss it on your roof or maybe add length to the rear of your vehicle.As you can see, this is pretty much the same size as our truck bed. It's 55-inch by 55-inch on the outside so you get a whole lot of extra area. The internal dimensions, it's about 51 inches by just about 51 inches. As you can see the rails here are lower profile, so you can really carry a variety of cargo.The install is pretty simple.

John: Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com. And today on our 2019 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be taking a look and test fitting the Inno Roof Deck platform rack. This is rated for 165 pounds. Adam: Hi, everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Hitch-mounted Cargo Carrier on our 2019 Toyota Tacoma. So what we're going to do in this video is give you guys some features of this product, show you how to interact with our Tacoma here, but also I'm going to give you my 2 cents on the product as well. So let's get started. Initially, it's going to be a two-inch shank, and make sure that your hitch is going to be the right size for it. But this is going to be about 24 inches by about 60 inches.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Toyota Tacoma

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the Max Tow 30 x 50 wheelchair carrier with a 48" long ramp. Part number MT70106. We already have it installed on our vehicle and right now it's in the position you would have it if either your wheelchair or your scooter we're already installed upon the rack. To get the scooter off you simply lower the ramp and to do that there's going to be pins and clips on either side here. We'll first remove the clips, then remove the pins, lower down the brackets like so, then lower the ramp. Now you're able to get our wheelchair-scooter off or put it back into place. With it in this position I want to go ahead and give you a quick measurement about how far it sticks out from the side of the truck. That's about 32" or so from the edge of the truck here.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Toyota Tacoma

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the MaxxTow 30X50 Wheelchair Carrier with 60 inch long ramp, part number MT70260. This cargo carrier has a carrying capacity of 500 pounds, has this nice mesh floor, which makes it easy to clean, has two reflectors on the outside to make it easy to see, and it also has these points all the way around the cargo carrier and those can serve as tie-downs for either your racket straps or your bungee cords, whatever you need to tie down your wheelchair. Right now, we have it in a position you would have it if the wheelchair or scooter we're in place. Now, to get it off or to put it back on, you simply fold it out and we'll show you how to do that next. We'll start by pulling these pins on either sides of the ramps here and that makes it so this can actually fold out like so. Then we'll go to the inside here, remove the pins and clips, and the supports. We'll pull them up and reinsert the pins along the sides like so, which sometimes can take a little bit of time to line them up.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Toyota Tacoma

Today, on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20 x 48 Cargo Carrier. That part number is C18110. We already have our carrier attached to our Tacoma. Keep in mind that this has a 300 pound weight capacity and works with both 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches. The first thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements. Our ground clearance is going to be first. To the bottom of our bolt here, we're going to have about 19 inches. Overall, to our Tacoma we're adding about 26 1/4 inches and our closest point is going to be about 6 3/4 inches away there. As for our tailgate, if we lower this down to gain access to our truck bed, we're not going to make any contact with our carrier.



Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Toyota Tacoma

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma we're doing a test fit of the Darby Extend a Truck hitch mounted load extender, part number DTA944. Now, we already have it here in our first position, we're going to go over some features of this position and then we'll show the second one. This position is going to be great for anytime that you have anything that you want to put on your vehicles roof and it's longer than your truck. If you have a roof rack system and you want to throw some lumber or some PVC pipe up there, our Extend a Truck is just going to give you some extra stability there. Now, we're going to take some measurements here. Do our ground clearance first, at about 17 inches. Closest point is going to be about 5 and a quarter inches.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Toyota Tacoma

Today, on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma we're doing a test fit of the MaxxTow Cargo 48 by 21 Cargo Carrier. That part number is MT70422. Now, this is designed to work with 2 inch hitches and has a 500 pound weight capacity. The first thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements. We're going to do our ground clearance first. We're going to have about 15 and 1/4 inches of clearance.



Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Toyota Tacoma

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we are taking a look at the Stromberg Carlson twenty three by sixty cargo carrier. That part number is CC-100. Now, this has a weight capacity of five hundred pounds and is designed to work with two inch hitches. First thing I want to do here is take a few measurements. A ground clearance is going to be first, the bottom of this bolt here right up under our carrier we are going to have about thirteen and half inches. Overall to our vehicle, we are going to have about twenty eight and half inches.

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero Gear Cage cargo carrier. It's 48 by 32 with a 300-pound weight capacity and is designed to work with two-inch hitches. That part number is HCR222. Now the first thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements. Our ground clearance is going to be first, up under our carrier at that bolt, we're going to have about 14 inches of clearance. Overall to our vehicle, we're adding about 42 inches.

Today on our two thousand sixteen Toyota Tacoma, we're doing a test fit of the Curt folding twenty by sixty cargo carrier. That part number C18151. This carrier is designed to work with two inch hitches, and has a weight capacity of five hundred pounds. The first thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements. We're going to start off with our ground clearance. We're going to have about fifteen and three quarter inches of clearance there. We'll go to our overall next.

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're doing a test fit of Curt 20 by 60 cargo carrier. That part number is C18150. Now this has a 500-pound weight capacity and is designed to work with two-inch hitches. While we have it on our truck, the first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements. We're going to start off here with our ground clearance. We're going to have about 18 inches of clearance there, that's because we have that raised shank here in the back which is going to lift the carrier even higher than our hitch.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Toyota Tacoma

Today on our 2015 Toyota Tacoma we're test fitting the Curt 20x60 Folding Cargo Carrier. It has the capacity to hold up to 500 pounds and it is designed to work with 2 inch hitches, part number for that is C18151. The first thing we're going to do with this is take some measurements, ground clearance first. It is going to be about 17 inches there. Overall to the truck we're adding about 34,5 inches and our closest point is going to be about 13 inches there. On this vehicle we do have a single passenger side exhaust. It does come straight out from the passenger side here so you shouldn't have to worry about carrying any heat sensitive materials on your cargo carrier.
