Swagman Traveler XC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers - Frame Mount
Works great! Our bikes have low cross bars so it took a bit to figure out the "sweet spot" for the holding arms. Finally get the bikes out of the camper when traveling; yipee!
Bike Carrier works well. Quick and easy install and bike setup. However, I had to modify hitch extension bar supplied by 2” to avoid handle bar coming in contact with camper.

Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs
I ordered one of these a year ago and it arrived with critical welds missing. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they sent me a brand new unit. Mounting was easy (with the right tools). I did swap out the crummy fasteners that they supply for attaching to the trailer tongue with grade 8 yellow zinc plated fasteners from [online]. It is holding up great and makes bike carrying super easy. I like that I can see them in the rear view mirror and see if anything is coming loose. I used a cheap bike rack on this and flipped the arms of the rack around rearward to keep the bikes close to the front of the travel trailer. This also allows me to fully open the hatch of my tow vehicle when the bikes are mounted. So overall this is a nice addition that avoids trying to mount anything to the flimsy rear bumper of the travel trailer, although it does add some tongue weight. I am super happy with it so far and it looks nice a year later despite having sat outside 100% of the time.
I was looking for a way to mount a bike carrier on my 2016 Flagstaff Superlite TT. Due to the low ground clearance (14" rims) I couldn't relocate the rear bumper mounted spare underneath travel trailer. Tow vehicle is 2015 Ram 1500 4x2. Settled on the SC Bike Bunk plus Let's Go Aero BikeWing2 mounted as far back on front frame as possible so the bike bunk clears the propane bottle cover and maximizes distance between back of truck and bikes when turning. Success! I also made spacers ( bar stock from Home Depot cut down & painted black. see pic) which raised Bike Bunk up another 3/4" (every little bit helps!). My 26" wheeled bikes have 5.5" clearance above tailgate top. 29er will only have 2.5". No issues on flat ground whatsoever; concern may be up & over curb turning into gas stations with 29ers (not tested yet); 26" bikes no clearance issues experienced at all. Hint: GoAero rack tilts forward so I use trailer electric front jack to lower the whole front of trailer down when loading & unloading bikes. Easy peasy no step ladder. required!

Swagman Original RV Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - 2" Hitches
I needed a small bike rack for my 5th wheel. I came to etrailer as my trusted source for info and availability since we live full time on the road. Plus these are hard to find in brick and mortar stores since COVID. I ordered the rack on a Sunday and received a confirmation and tracking number before I went to bed!! The package even arrived a day early. The rack is more sturdy than I had expected and look forward to safe transport of my bike. I also like I now have the ability to mount and use it on the rear of my pickup if needed. This is a 5 star rack but gets only 4 stars due to my one issue. The only issue was a small amount of what looks like welding slag in the threaded attachment hole to the trailer. (see picture) Having no other option, I just forced/re-threaded the bolt during installation. Since I hope to not need to remove the rack, I am just hoping for the best in the future.
Product is better and sturdier than I expected. I was shocked at how fast it shipped. It was extremely well packaged. I have not seen this type of care in shipping for a long time. I am very happy with the product especially at the price. It had several features I was looking for: 1. It is rigid to the hitch with no flopping. 2. The bikes can be securely locked to the carrier. 3. The unit can easily be locked to the hitch (with the additional locking bolt that I would recommend purchasing. 4. When not in use it can easily be stored FLAT in the storage area of my RV without taking up a lot of room. I would highly recommend etrailer and this bike carrier. I will be doing additional business with etrailer in the future!

Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
We love our Hollywood RV Rider Bike Rack. We have loaded it on our 87 Jeep Wrangler, our ‘06 Lexus, and our ‘83 Pilot. It is a perfect fit on all three! We needed the extra length to clear our rear mount tire on our Jeep. It worked! We have taken our 4”fat tire e-bikes on many roads from northern Idaho to southern Arizona. The bikes travel well and sturdy on this heavy weight rack. We feel very confident that they stay in place. We are able to load our bikes in a few minutes and hit the road in no time. It is very easy to load. We recommend using the bar grip extenders (which came in the package) to compact the storage area. This rack comes with a tip mechanism to allow you to tip the bikes down to access the rear trunk or hatchback.
I have had several name brand bike racks and the Hollywood Racks RV Rider is by far the best. The rack is very sturdy and lite weight. It was easy to assemble with very good instructions. The rack fits our fat tire e-bikes and my SUV perfectly. The rack is very easy to adjust and while it sits high as to not drag the bikes when exiting parking lots, loading our 60lb e-bikes is no problem at all with the appropriate nethod, one wheel at a time. It is also possible to lean the rack to access the rear hatch on my SUV. The main reason for purchasing the rack is it is certified to mount behind a motorhome or on an SUV while being flat towed. There is literally no movement or sway of the rack behind the SUV. Very happy with this rack.

Swagman XP RV Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches
I hate this bike rack. For a heavy is at it, 40 lbs, it is junk, wobbles and moves around like crazy. If you need an overpriced boat anchor, this will fit the bill. Better to cut the rope when you leave it. Terrible tolerances. I bought the chincy locking ring they want to sell you and it did absolutely nothing. Don't put a nice bike on it because you'll be sorry. Honestly I try to avoid etrailer whenever possible at this point. Why can a hitch fit well but this is really undersized and the fit it terrible
So far, so good. I just received this last week and installed it on the back of my fifth wheel. We have four bikes (2 adult bikes and two kids bikes), and fitting all four of the bikes on the racks took some creativity but it was possible. The rack seems very sturdy, but we will see if it stands the test of time as we are full-time RVers who travel about 6,000 miles per year. Our last bike rack (Swagman XTC4) was completely worn out after about 14,000 miles of use on the back of our fifth wheel.

Stromberg Carlson 2 Bike Carrier for RVs - Ladder Mount - Aluminum
The process was so easy., from the search to the delivery. The products are of high-quality, and should last a long time with normal care. This is my third order with etrailer and I live there products. Everything is as advertised .If you need camping equipment then I recommend to buy from them.
Yes I did receive the racks and they look great, my husband put them on and his comments were he wished the screws were longer, and the latch down loops were tough to get hooked over the bikes. Also we thought it would be nice if it came with some pads to keep the bikes from banging together or against our spare. Overall we lke the product, and the construction it seems sturdy and we like that it swings out of the way for ladder access. Your service was very prompt, which is always appreciated.

Surco 2 Bike Carrier for Vans and RVs - Ladder Mount
This carrier works very well for those situations where a ladder-mounted bike rack is the only option. It took a couple of trials to find the best placement of the bikes on the rack. It would be ideal if the horizontal bars were a little longer so the bikes could be kept further away from the back wall of the travel trailer and separated a little more from each other. Nevertheless this rack works well and I use cut pool noodles and bungies to hold the bikes firmly in position and to guard the contact locations between the bikes, rack and trailer. The cradles can be slid anywhere on the horizontal bar for ideal placement with your specific bikes. It would be good if there was way to hold them in place so they don't move while mounting the bikes or after install. Based on the few times we have used this rack, I would recommend it in a ladder-mounted application.
The bicycle carrier has been great and its design well thought out. Due to the geometry of our bicycles it took us a while the two times to figure out how to hang them with the best balance and minimal overhang with the side of our trailer. Easy to use thereafter, very sturdy and no maintenance.

Thule Range RV Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches
This is the best bike rack for a 5th wheel that I have ever seen or used. I have had it for a year now and used it multiple times. We travel for work and my wife follows me in the car, so she can see the bikes on the rack and what they are doing. She says they hardly move at all. It holds them very solid even when going over rough roads, where we see the bikes on the back of other RV's bouncing all over the place.
I combined this with the Mount-n-lock bumper hitch receiver as well as the safety struts bumper reinforcements. We have gone on one of the bumpiest roads and while this thing takes a beating, it does the job. It does a fair amount of bouncing as I see it in the camper rear camera, but I think that’s part of the engineering to let a little absorption of the bounce happen. Overall, great product and I highly recommend. (By the way, don’t forget to do your calculations for the weight of your bikes as they go further away from the inner most part of the bike rack, they weight heavier).
# 9
Hitch-It 2 Bike Rack for Straight Tongue Trailers
Fits well (but I had to buy a hitch extender to create space between my Jeep and travel trailer) and is very easy to use.
The part came very quickly and did exactly what it said it would do.

Lippert Components Flip Down Slotted Bike Rack Tailgate Storage System
Oversize your holes for pins to allow for powder coat build up. Possible an additional fold up Stantion for the back side (camper side) to protect camper. Good quality, great paint. Tighter tolerance on the stantions would make the user feel a little more secure but works well.
I like this rack because it’s a good size and is built sturdy I had to extend my bumper out 6 inch’s in order to install the mounting brackets because my bumper was so close to my trailer but it was worth it to get the extra storage.

Swagman Straddler Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2" - 100 lbs
Definitely requires some assembly. Make sure the trailer is level when mounting it the first time. Works well with my pop-up trailer and I am able to mount the rack facing the trailer giving me extra room between my car and trailer. I was impressed by how strong and stable it is. Only downside, it interferes with my tongue jack on my trailer and I am unable to lock into the "stored" position for driving. I have use a tie-strap to secure the jack.
I returned this item due to clearance issues. Although it may work well with a pickup it did not offer enough room between vehicles for 2 adult bikes. Etrailer being the great company they are agreed to return this and although one person I spoke to wasn't helpful his supervisor was able to help. I purchased 2 Thule roof mount racks and am satisfied. This has been the only time I've experienced any problem with Etrailer and it was handled quickly and effectively.

Yakima LongHaul RV Bike Rack - 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Silver
This was a huge fail for me. I attached a few pictures to show my issues. To start with, my wife has a small frame bike. The frame of the bike will not fit on this rack. Even if I bought the bar that goes across making a flat top bar to attach to, the two frame rails that the bikes sit on will not fit in between the frame or the seat and the front frame. (Hard to explain, see picture of light colored bike) 2nd was my bike. I have a medium frame bike that did fit on the rack, but the handle bars and pedals are wider then all 4 bike positions available. There is absolutely no way that I could ever get 4 bikes on the rack. I don’t see 4 kids bikes fitting on this. I guess this is the issue with hanging style back racks. Now I have to pay almost $[XX] to ship it back to etrailer. So I basically payed $[XX] to have this rack out of the box for all of 30 minutes. I’m happy they are taking a return but having to pay to return this item is going to keep me from buying from etrailer again. This is why Am**on is doing so well. You can return things for free.
Not RV rated. Mine bent on the main tube going up and the arms going out holding the bikes. I contacted etrailer and Yakima without any warranty support. Both stating I loaded the bikes incorrectly. etrailer's website does not provide any instructions for how it should be loaded. Rating is for 37.5lbs per bike and you can not go over that limit even 0.5lbs. Good thing I didn't have 4 full size bikes on there. I purchased Yakima specifically because of the name brand but I guess it is what it is.

The bicycle rack mounted easily by myself without help from another person. It is very strong and holds our two bicycles just as I had hoped. I slipped a pool noodle over the upright support bar to prevent scratching the inside bicycle. The only thing I can suggest is that the product would have been better if it included the cover for the upright support pole and some strapping material to keep the bicycles solidly in place while traveling. The strapping material is not a big priority for me though because I have lots of it.
This was a great compromise in cost, ease of install and use. Easily attached to the bumper (and saved cost as I didn't need to install a hitch on the RV). Bikes went in well, but needed to use pool noodles to insulate the bikes from each other and from the central pole. (Will switch to more sturdy pipe insulation next time). Add some bungies and velcro straps (to hold the wheels) and you're all set. Held our 2 mountain bikes flawlessly over our 8,000 mile road trip last summer.

Swagman Nomad Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Great product! Easy to install. Easy to adjust to bikes. Solid construction. Nothing moves or loosens up in travel. Installed on a travel trailer. By far the best we’ve seen in any campground. Price is fair! Nice to have the bikes with us, secured on a carrier and not bouncing in the back of the truck. Highly recommend this bike carrier!!
This is one heavy duty Bike Rack. Work’s perfect on our 2022 Montana High Country 295 rl.

Swagman Around the Spare Deluxe 2 Bike Rack for RV Bumpers
I am very satisfied with the bike rack. Instillation was simple. The package had been previously opened and was missing 2 nuts but I had them in the garage. The product stated it would not fit on a bike with less than 18” between the seat and handle bar post but I drilled 2 holes in the top cross bar and set them on an angle as allowed in the instructions and they fit my mountain bikes with a cradle of 14”. I added a web strap from the tire support post, over the tire and around the bike cross bars to eliminate any swaying which did not appear to be a problem even before the strap. My 2 mountain bikes weigh 35.5lbs each and appeared very secure for a 700 mile trip.
Terrible product as it sits too low on the bumper. I mangled a bike wheel backing up to a slight swale. The bike wheel was only six inches off the ground, the swale was seven. My bad for backing up without a spotter but the bike rack is not adjustable & therefore worthless to me.

Lets Go Aero NEO2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
This purchase was to have a rack we can use when we need to bring single bikes in addition to or instead of our tandem. We have used it about a dozen times and it has been a great solution. Easy to store and set up and the wheel mount eliminates any issues with having a horizontal frame member to hang from. We've heavily loaded it several times including wedging our bike trailer between the bikes.
This is a lightweight rack that holds the bikes horizontal by supporting them by their wheel rims. Adjusting it for various size bikes is easy. Bikes are well protected. There are pinned split-fit joints at the base that may be susceptible to wear after a lot of use.
Saris MHS Modular 2 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon
Hey everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris MHS on our 2023 Subaru Outback. And while at first it may look like you can mount your bike in on either side, there is actually a ratcheting system for your back strapped wheel as well as a wheel chock for your front wheel just to help it sit in there better. Now, one of the big advantages of this rack is that does come with a tilt away feature. So we just go ahead and pull the lever here at the bottom allows us to tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle, allowing us access into the truck. And there's enough clearance between the pedal and our trunk that I'm not really worried about it but this would allow me to grab my helmet, my shoes or either put them up when I'm done for the day.
Swagman RV and Camper Bike Racks Review - 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman Escapee two bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Subaru Outback. Now, this is gonna be a platform style bike rack, primarily designed for RV use. If you have a motor home, that's great, you can use it there, but it's gonna work just fine on your Subaru Outback as well. With it being a platform rack, it's gonna hold the bike on top of the rack in these wheel cradles, and this one uses a wheel hook to hold the bike in place primarily.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon KU74FR
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Transfer V2, and seeing how it fits on our 2023 Subaru Outback. This is gonna be a platform style bike rack holding the bike in these wheel cradles, and primarily keeping it up, and held down by our wheel hook at the front. With this making contact on our tire and not the frame, it's going to make this bike rack work well for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. The secondary point of contact is on the back tire, and each bike can be supported up to 40 pounds.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon Y36FR
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp Platform Style Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on our 2023 Subaru Outback. Now I like the name suggests, this is a bike rack that comes with a ramp and we'll get to that in just a bit. It's one of the things that really sets this rack apart from some of the others and it makes it a great option for E-bikes. This can support a weight of 66 pounds per bike so a little bit more than the industry standard 60 pounds that you've probably seen elsewhere, which is nice.
Saris MHS 2 Bike Rack Review - 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon
What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com, today we're gonna be checking out the Saris MHS platform system on our 2022 Subaru Outback wagon. This is gonna be a platform style bike rack, holds the bike by the tires, which really opens it up to a bunch of different style bikes, let's check it out. The different style of bikes this can carry are kind of unlimited because you don't have to hold it by the frame, so then even carbon fiber bikes can go on here where we usually don't recommend those on the hanging style because that could damage the frame but, holding 'em by the tires makes it far easier. Not only that, there's not gonna be a center mast here that's in the way on some other platform style bike racks, so it's gonna help with loading and unloading, and we'll get to that in a little bit but, just kinda want to point out some quick positives about it. Another thing, is it can tilt away with the bike fully loaded, so let's go ahead and do that, that way if you forget something in the back of your Outback or you wanna throw something in there and you got everything loaded, you don't have to take everything off just to get to the back of that so, we'll just pull on this lever down here, and the whole thing tilts down to about there. It's even got a stopper, just in case the hitch is a little bit lower, it would stop before it goes fully to the ground, which is nice because some of those bike racks that do tilt, if it is low you have to move your hand away from that handle before it touches the ground, this one's got a stopper.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon HR4000
What's up everybody it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we gonna be checking out the Hollywood Racks Destination. It's gonna be a four platform style bike rack, and it's gonna be on our 2022 Subaru Outback. So we look at it here. We have a mountain bike on there today and holds it right here by the frame. You gotta go into the cradle, pull it nice and tight.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon
What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out, the Yakima OnRamp on our 2022, Subaru Outback wagon. It's gonna be a platform style bike rack, that holds the bike right up here on the frame so we don't recommend using carbon fiber bikes on this just because of the frame contact. But the good thing about that is these cradles, can spin 360 degrees, and, you can loosen them and adjust them up and down the mast. So, because they're so easily adjustable, it works with these e-bike frames because they are very much alike alternative frames so it's kinda hard to if they had a hook to come down here in the center, it wouldn't work really well with it.
Saris MHS 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Saris MHS platform-style bike rack on our 2018 Subaru Outback wagon. Now it's a platform-style rack that holds the bike by the tires. We've got two wheel hoops, one on either end, and that's giving a good, strong hold on the bike. We've got some secondary points of contact, but those are the main ones, and that's gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame. Those secondary points of contact include this strap down here at the bottom holding our back wheel down, as well as this little wheel block up front that's just limiting the movement of that front tire.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon
Zack: Hey guys, Zack here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro on our 2020 Outback. This is a classic hanging-style bike rack that Thule has. It's just well-built and it's a good way to get four bikes to the park or the trail, whatever you're looking to do.Now when it comes to hanging-style bike racks, especially with like entry-level ones, something that they're missing as an anti-sway cradle and those bikes are swinging all over the place and running into each other. This one does have an anti-sway cradle, so we're going to get a little bit of movement.
