Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
The good: I like the way the bikes are held in and the ability to add the upright adapters to the bike frame holders. The straps are quality too. For a jeep with a spare tire, this is the perfect length to clear it. This rack is 5 stars from the bike holders to the base of it. The bad: the 2"receiver adapter and bolt are insufficient. I wish they made this in a solid 2" hitch. The entire setup is held into the receiver by a very short bolt. It only goes about half way into the receiver tube. So your hitch is only "secured" on one side. A hitch pin or bolt should go through the receiver tube completely imo so it can be secured on the other end with a retaining clip or nut. Because this only goes in the one side, the entire weight of the rack plus bikes are held tight to one side of the receiver by the undersized bolt and washer. A few bumps down the road and that bolt loosens. Now instead of distibuting the weight of the rack and bikes on the receiver and post, it's completely up to the bolt to keep you from losing the rack. The bolt threads get damaged too. I took this down a dirt road and nearly lost everything. I had to buy my own bolt with hd fender washers and lock washers to correct this. Thule should've provided this from the start. The current short bolt design where only one side of the receiver secures the rack is unacceptable. This rack is 1 star at best for the connection to the receiver.
Hitch pin broke before I got it. Looks like a poor design for the locking pin, they might want to consider a different design. I got a 3/8 shear pin from Home Depot to replace and it works great. Bike rack is great!

Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack - Spare Tire Mount - Folding Dual Arms
I have aftermarket ExpeditionOne bumpers for my 2020 Ford Ranger. My spare tire is on a rear bumper swing arm (see photos). In my install what worked best was the short arm only, no spacer. If you read the instructions, that will make more sense. I think the instructions are for a Jeep, but my spare tire mount is different, considering I have 265/60 tires. Negatives The thule cable lock for the bike doesn't engage enough to lock, but looking at the design, not sure how robust it is anyway, so I'll just use a bike lock I already have through the swing arm frame and spare tire. Also, for offroading, I think it may be safest to take off both bike wheels and strap the frame separately. I drive on very narrow jeep trails, so I don't want a bike wheel catching on brush/branches that I'm driving by. Those two things are why I only gave 4 out of five stars. Positives The light weight of the rack (15lbs) and the thule bolt lock to the spare tire (different lock vs the bike, see photos), are why I got this rack. Really like that I could offset the rack some, so it's more centered. Really like the spacers that add more contact between the tire and the bike rack, see photos. Summary/Observations I'm lazy, so will try the orange tape, instead of always lowering the arms (see photos) I'm tall, so that should keep me from walking into them. My truck tires aren't huge, so I'm still in the weight range of the swing arm, keep that in mind too, but I'm happy to avoid a hitch bike rack, I didn't want to lose departure angle for off roading. I'll update the review if it doesn't perform like I expect, but I think it'll work well enough. I've had lots of different racks (roof, hitch, rear trunk, etc), so I'm not expecting any surprises.
I needed a solution to put a bike rack on my Jeep where I could open the back door. I also have a backup camera. This works with my back-up camera, because mine is mounted not in the center hole, but in the larger tire hole above it with a bracket. This rack hit all my marks including weight as my e-bike is 43 pounds - so I'm carrying one bike, although my mountain bike probably would still keep it under 75lbs. I had my friend's husband help me install and it was pretty straight forward. The only issue we had is that the safety strap which is sewn (attached) to the handle is not long enough. I have 265 tires, so medium size and there are adaptors for bigger tires included. We tried every possible configuration and could get it attached, but only with an inch of strap left so no tie off. The safety strap is needed, but not long enough. I contacted Thule and they are sending me two straps with metal buckles to extend it. Good customer service.

Yakima SpareRide 2 Bike Rack - Spare Tire Mount - Folding Arms
After a couple of weeks of researching which type of bike rack I wanted for my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK (hitch mount or spare tire), I decided on the spare tire mount. And after a 4hr (roundtrip) mountain biking weekend escape, I'm very happy with my decision. What I like about the rack: well built, very sturdy with bike(s) mounted (no sway or rattle), arms fold down and lock in place when not in use (looks slick), full access to cargo area without needing to remove rack, rack and bike cable locks included, economical, lifetime warranty and of course the dual bottle openers ; ) What I would improve upon or revise in a future model: arms should be longer (even just an inch because bikes rub slightly so I had to add padding), more use of aluminum rather than plastic (thinking long term durability of the plastic locking teeth and arms) Thanks eTrailer
This bike carrier is great! It is very well made and is secured to the vehicle with a keyed lock. It comes with a locking cable for the bike as well. I can open the tailgate and access the trailer hitch while the bike is on the carrier. I could not be more pleased!

Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount
This HRSR1 bike carrier will not fit a 2023 Jeep Wrangler JL UNLESS you remove the stock Liddy Light and associated bracket. Upon discovering this, I was able to locate an aftermarket kit which allows for the relocation of the light to just above the rear camera. The kit was easily installed and the bike mount was installed just as easily as the directions explain. The new location of the light is partially obscured with the bikes mounted and, although not ideal, it is adequate and certainly better than total removal. I was unable to find any mention of this situation in the install instructions or reviews prior to purchase of the rack. I just wish I had been aware of this before purchase. I would have rated 5 stars for this product were it not for the slight hiccup. Kudos to etrailer. It is always a pleasure to do business with them. They are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
It's sturdy even off-road, and it's simple to take on and off. I've had to use my spare tire twice since owning this rack, and although I have to remove my bike and loosen the bike rack bolts a bit, it comes off and goes back on with minimal effort, which is nice when you're on the Alaska Highway and it's snowing. I've carried my full-suspension bike on this rack for 35k miles all over the U.S. and Canada. I like how my bike fits close to the tire, where I lock it. My tailgate opens without the bike touching the side of my Jeep. Great bang for the buck.

RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
We love our RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack. The fact that it can hold our two e-bikes and swings out for rear door access makes it perfect for vanlife. Service and communication from etrailer is outstanading!
etrailer.com asked me for a review about 1 week after it arrived. A better review would be in about 6-12 months after delivery to allow me time to use and experience the rack. Disclosure: my review is just for the assembly and install. Assembly is not easy. I needed to go to the internet and look at photos. The instructions lack detail. So only 4 stars for assembly instructions. It seems like a good design. The included locks seem cheap - like why bother including. The hitch pin design seems to tighten down the rack so there should be minimal rattle and movement. The rack sits up relatively high, so it would be safer to lift heavier e-bikes with two people or use some type of field engineered ramp. Wish it was made in the US and I wish the country of original was fully disclosed in the etrailer.com description. Perhaps it is disclosed but I learned it was from china after it was delivered.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
First-time rack buyer / owner / installer. The rack arrived in a timely fashion, maybe a day or 2 ahead of schedule. It was well packaged. I’m LOVING this bike rack. It was easy to put together and to mount on my new Honda Passport. Thus far, no squeaks in my 2” receiver. Hardest part of initial set-up is figuring out the best way to position two bikes. Trial & error and some patience. The directions weren’t clear as to where the 2 left-over screws went. I found the answer in another review and have posted a pic in case others have the same problem (photo with pen pointing at screw). These screws go in the underneath side of both of the folding arms. They appear to keep the wheel wells from sliding off in case in you drive with an empty, un-folded rack, and forgot to tighten down the wheel wells. The folding arm push / pull pins can be difficult at times. I coated the tips with some lube. That and a little jiggling seems to solve that issue. I guess it’s better for the pins to be snug vs popping right out. I added a small Master lock to the hitch pin (in lieu of the provided cotter pin) as a theft deterrent. I read that a 3/16 shackle lock will fit into the bike clamp down arms to also act as a deterrent. I had an old 3/16 lock that did snugly fit and appeared to be locked. HOWEVER, I yanked on the lock and it came open as there isn’t quite enough clearance for the shackle to lock. I discovered that longer 3/16 shackle locks are hard to find. Have attached a photo of the lock that actually fits and works (Ace Hardware). One lock on the upper clamp down arm will secure both arms as the lower arm can’t be removed without removing the upper arm. The clamp down arms appear to be coated to prevent damage to your bike. I’ve tried a simple rag and ultimately settled on pool noodle pieces as a precautionary measure. I CAN NOT open my tailgate (regardless of whether or not the rack is fold up and in the bike carry position). If that’s a concern for you, then spring for the more costly titling version. My back-up camera still functions.
The Swagman XTC-2 platform bike carrier arrived very quickly from etrailer and in good shape, the actual carrier box is inside another shipper box, which I'm sure helped with its condition. Assembly was relatively quick and painless, even though the instructions could be a little more thorough. Installing the carrier on the back of our Jeep Patriot also was quick, it helps to have an extra ratchet & 3/4" socket laying around for just this purpose. Installing the bikes takes a little patience and trial and error the first time you try and put them on the carrier. It's easy enough to adjust the wheel holders to fit the wheelbase of your bikes, but for us at least, the challenge was trying to swing the vertical support bar up into position after putting on the first bike (closest to the Jeep). We couldn't angle the bike enough toward the Jeep to have the bar clear the bike. We learned that the easiest way to secure the first bike was to remove the ratcheting frame hooks altogether, put the bike in the carrier, swing up the vertical support bar, put in the pin, and then slide one of the frame hooks down on the bar. The outside bike is much easier because you can set the bike in the carrier at whatever angle you need, not being limited by the back of the vehicle. One thing we did to protect the bike frames was to use some foam pipe insulation as cushion between the frame hook and the frame (see pictures). Once you get a system for installing the bikes, it is very quick to load/unload them. The rack seems to be well made and doesn't wiggle excessively when traveling. All in all a good product for a good price, would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a platform bike carrier.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
etrailer has the best pre- and post-sales customer service I've ever seen! I started out not knowing anything about hitch-mounted racks. So I wrote to etrailer telling them about my car and type of hitch I was about to have installed. Samuel wrote back with lots of great information tailored specifically to my car. He even included a photo that looked just like my 2017 white VW GTI with a hitch and rack installed. Okay something of a coincidence. But the rest of the assistance I got from the crew at etrailer was just as prophetic. I went into this a novice and came out knowing lots more about hitches and racks and finding the rack best suited to my situation. I have a small car, a class 1 hitch and a heavy mountain bike. I got exactly what I needed. As to the Swagman rack itself, it works fine. If I had a different situation I would probably buy a platform rack as they are easier to load. There's no reason to buy a bike rack anywhere else.
First off, thanks to Jason T. or "Troop". The exemplary customer service he provided is rare these days. Troop made several calls to the various manufacturers to ascertain which bike rack would afford me the most ground clearance as my new VW Golf sits low to the ground and my old bike rack frequently scraped the ground when I went up even a slight up hill grade. His efforts paid off as he found me the best bike rack for my car, the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Carrier. It sits up off the ground just high enough that it doesn't scrape on my driveway. It is also sturdy and holds my bikes securely. And, the delivery was amazingly fast. I had my rack in about 2 days! Note to Troop, see my Pittsburgh Pirates Logo on my bumper in the attached pictures? Pirate Fans persevere! The Bucco's will be coming after your Cardinals this year! Thanks again Troop!

SportRack Ridge Swing 4 Bike Rack - 2" Hitches - Swinging
Unit doesn't fit a Jeep Rubicon with a spare tire. I tried 4 times and contacted etrailer.com that the unit doesn't work as sold and they offered to sell me a 7 3/4 extension and reduce the load capacity 50%. The length of the 2" hitch needs to be 3" longer for a standard Rubicon to get past the spare. You not going to want to take your spare tire off for the hitch to work. It defeats the purpose. Customer service was excellent, however the product is a flawed design. Can't recommend this hitch. Its also heavy.
Solid rack for half the price of the name brands. Don’t waste your money! Thanks to the extensive reviews on etrailer and a free shipping promotion I took a chance and ordered this along with the three of their crossbars, anti rattle hitch pin and cable lock. All for well less than the name brand rack alone. Shipping was painful. Etrailer said it was in stock but then due to a delay with the manufacturer it took 35 days from order to arrival. I wasn’t in a hurry so I waited patiently, and etrailer reps emailed often to lmk they hadn’t forgotten. I thought some kind of reward for my extreme patience was in order- discount, gift card, free bag of chips- but they politely declined. Oh well. In the end it arrived when they (eventually) said it would, all in one box, in great shape. The rack was super easy to assemble. You’ll need a ratchet or two and you’ll need to crank those bolts to assemble- they don’t just “insert.” But otherwise it’s only a few steps; I had mine hanging on my truck in probably 15 minutes. Swings away and locks smoothly and requires no effort to do so. Everything feels quite sturdy and well made. No rattle on initial test drive either. This will be a once in a while rack at best for our family of four. We have two SUVs so I needed a rack that could get out of the way of the rear hatch WITH bikes on it. This will do that. And now I don’t need to stuff four dirty bikes into the back of my truck, getting them all tangled and scratched!

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
So far I’ve just assembled it and took a quick test drive around the block. My initial thought is this thing is perfect. It’s super sturdy and easy to use. My only gripe and it’s not fault of the rack, but it’s heavy…
If you've done any research or read any of the other comments on either this rack, or this seller...rest assured they really are as good as everyone says! I ordered my rack on around 4pm est on a Friday afternoon and within an hour I received an email that said they have shipped my product AND upgraded to priority shipping. Can't say enough positive things about the customer service! When the rack arrived, it took me a little over half an hour to get it set up. Probably would e been faster if I were even slightly mechanically inclined (or if didn't I didn't have to borrow a socket wrench from my neighbor). We finally had an opportunity to load up the bikes and head out for a ride today. As others have said, the first time you load up your bikes, it's kind of like a puzzle to get them situated. Took about 15 minutes. This rack is awesome! Very sturdy and the bikes were very secure. Only racks I have had in the past were rooftop fork mount racks. This is so much easier! On e we got to the trail (over an hour drive) getting the bikes off was a piece of cake. Afterwards, it was time to load them back up and it was less than 5 minutes to get them all on and ready to hit the road. There were other 4-bike racks on the website, but this one had enough great reviews that I felt comfortable making the purchase. After the fact, I'm very glad I did! I can't imagine the $800 rack can be that much better than this, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4-bike platform rack. I will definitely recommend this rack and etrailer.com to everyone I know.

Malone Runway Spare Tire Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - Adjustable Arms
The eTrailer has been a God send and we are so grateful. Our son-in-law died from COVID last year which left our daughter and two grand-daughters alone. This eTrailer was a gift which allows the three of them to get out for bike rides whenever they need to “clear their heads” and be refreshed in God’s glorious creation. This is the ONLY three bike carrier we know of… and Thank You for making it available. God bless.
I was excited to get this and eager to just pop it onto my spare tire like it shows in the video. 45 minutes later and I'm resigned to drilling an extra hole where the buttons are in order to tighten the hold over the tire, and chagrined that I had to "rear" my smaller bike frame angled upwards in order to seat it on the red rack receivers. This was because there wasn't enough room vertically on the frame or horizontally on the frame. Not sure how I would have been able to prepare for that, maybe there is some comment about smaller bike frames somewhere? One strap to secure the bikes is not enough in this situation, so things were strapped every which way, including the front tire of the bike so it wouldn't wobble everywhere. The bike and rack made it home for the maiden 60 mile highway trip, but I was not totally confident with it.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I like the overall design of this rack, but unfortunately after hauling a couple bikes around for a while the point where the crossbar connects has apparently rounded off so the rack swings back and forth. I've used rope to tie the ends of the rack to the car to stop this from getting worse, but it's inconvenient. Note: the hitch connection itself is good and solid, but the point where the crossbar connects to the bar coming from the hitch has gotten loose and there's no way that I can see to tighten it.
It works great! Easy, quick, you know. One needs to screw in the hitch bolt, for some reason, before latching it. Other than that, it makes going bike riding way easier.

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
This thing is built like a tank! It is of the best fit and funtion I have seen in a bike rack! Solid as can be, fits my bikes perfectly and looks awesome! Plus it folds completely out of the way to access the rear liftgate on my 2022 Rav4!
Great service from etrailer and the rack arrived as expected. Fairly easy assembly. OK video on Kuat’s site, but didn’t cover the foot pedal. Really glad we got the 2” hitch. It tightened up and we’re impressed with the quality and the stability of the rack. We haven’t done a road test yet, but look forward to putting it to the test. We have a Ford F-150 and it works great. The bikes were fairly easy to load with the batteries out and two people. We do need the strap extenders for our RadMini Step Thru’s. The tires are too big for the ones that come with. Only one set of extenders came with the bike and one adapter for a smaller tire. It’s okay, but since it’s a two bike unit, would have been nice to have both extenders. Otherwise, we are really liking the look and stability.

Surco Spare Tire 3-Bike Carrier
Hi This is an Excellent Bike Rack, It came in no time, Nicely Plastic Wrapped incase of Rain, The Instructions were an Easy Read. I Installed it on my 2001 Honda CRV which was a Breeze, I do think that People Who are too week to lift a Tire shouldnt attempt this alone Though. When You install it you have one hand to hold the tire and one to Screw in your bolts. It does require Strength and Dexterity, and we who ride Bikes already Have that I would Think. I put My Trek Bike on the Rack it Fits Great ! , and Im Ready to tour the Countryside. Thanks etrailer.com You Guys Know your Stuff Alan J
Very easy to install, looks great on my jeep. Very strong materials used to make. Looks to last me several years of riding trips. Bonus is that I can also mount it on my pop up tent trailer when I go camping. Very satisfying. Price was decent too. Thank you for prompt delivery. Sincerely, Mr. Mendez

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
WOW WOW WOW That is what I just kept saying after installing this Saris bike rack. I have been looking for a bike rack for almost 3-4 months now. Thule and Yakima didn't have what I was looking for. Their solution for a 4-5 bike rack is too complicated, not efficient, and it would be a nightmare to manage on a regular basis. So I couldn't get myself to pull a trigger on any of those and I kept searching. Finally, I came to eTrailer and found out about Saris. That is where the love starts :) We are a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 grown-ups). I needed something that will help me load bikes fast, unload them and still be able to have access to the back of my Toyota Sequoia. Saris delivered in every way. Assemble of the item is straight forward. Instructions are clear and to the point. They even give you a yellow strip that helps you mark where the hitch needs to be in order to align hole openings for easier installation after you install it the first time ;) The back-up camera is still usable but not 100%. Tilting down the rack with the bikes on it is simple as 1-2-3. There is plenty of room left between the trunk door and the bike as you can see on the pictures. One HUGE benefit is that you do not need any extra parts for kids bikes. Not like with other brands. Saris delivers tremendously on this part too. No shaking, rattling, or anything that would make you notice that you have this amazing product on the back of your SUV/truck. I can't recommend it more. I am just surprised that this product has not been more advertised and represented compared to other products.
this thing is a beast. while i haven't used it as much as i thought i would, i'm really happy with the quality of the rack. would def recommend to others looking for a 4 bike rack.

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
It was obvious that we received a product that was returned by someone else when the box was overly taped shut, a support collar was broken, and most of the pieces were out of their ripped plastic bags. However, it was a great price to hold 5, 26" and/or 27" Trek bikes. I used a piece of the broken collar and went ahead and assembled the rack. Due to the weight of the 5 bikes it did not wobble that much when driving, as one of the bike tires was up against my car. I can only imagine that if we received an untampered product that this review would have been 5 stars. The picture is a little hard to see, but there are 5 Trek bikes on the rack on my 2020 Toyota Seinna.
We received a damaged box, damaged items, no instructions, the nuts and bolts are completely stripped and not inside a bag. This was obviously used, returned, not checked for quality and sent out. We are extremely upset.

Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
This bike rack works great for our 2 Lectric 2.0 e-bikes. We mount it on our 2019 Honda Ridgeline. It folds up nicely when it’s on the truck and we are using our bikes. The locking mechanisms work well also. I contacted support for a smaller hook arm to clamp B over the bike frame. They knew exactly what I needed and shipped it - no problem.
I've been using this bike rack alongside a trailer hitch I got here for my small car (chevy bolt ev) and it was exactly what I was looking to get to haul around my fat tire mountain bike bike. Sometimes I throw two bikes on there (either an e-bike, slightly heavier at 60 lbs, or a 2nd mountain bike) and it's perfect.
Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at how the Hollywood Rack's Destination 4-bike platform rack fits on the 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is a 4-bike platform rack, which allows you to carry around more bikes without weighing too much or spending too much. There are some downsides to it too which we'll talk about in this video. But main thing with the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is you have a spare tire. So most bike racks will need the expansion hitch adapter or the hitch extender, which is what we currently have installed.
RockyMounts AfterParty Swing Away 2 Bike Rack Installation - 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at the RockyMounts AfterParty Swing Away bike rack and how it fits on the 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is a very unique pairing because this bike rack swings away so that you have full access for your Jeep, even with the spare tire on. So this bike rack is similar to the RockyMounts Guide Rail. If you want to check out that video, or you can also check out the RockyMounts AfterParty full demo if you want an in-depth, full look at the bike rack and how it works, specs, measurements, things like that. Here with the Jeep, the main thing is how far it can tilt away. So, we're actually limited by the wall, not by the bike rack.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over the Thule Hitching Post Pro for bike racks here on a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So the Thule Hitching Post Pro is gonna be an excellent bike rack option for you and the family because it allows you to carry up to four bikes. Now there's really two main styles of bike racks on the market and that's platform and hanging. So this is a hanging style rack and what hanging style racks do really well is number one, they're very cost effective, certainly when you compare them to the platform counterpart. And number two, they're much lighter weight than those platform style racks. So they're a lot easier to get on and off the vehicle.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be checking out the Thule Hitching Post Pro hitch-mounted bike rack. So first impressions of the rack on the back of the Jeep is, I think it looks really good, you know, but honestly, what doesn't, you know, these Jeeps accept accessories very well. And one of the first things I noticed, which is really important with these Jeeps is to make sure that your rack is going to clear the spare tire. Now, keep in mind, you know, things can change a little bit depending on your hitch and the size of your tire and everything else, but you know, those measurements aren't gonna change dramatically per se. So we still have quite a bit of space in between here.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hi, everyone. It's Eva Angeline, here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.02 Bike Platform Rack here, on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Now, honestly, your bike rack options are limited when it comes to your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited because of where your spare tire is. So the way this bike rack works, is that it is one of the few bike racks that will fit with your vehicle, but you'll still have to make sure that your bike will fit it because of those clearance issues. So, we'll go through and see how our bike fits as well as how our bike rack fits so that you can decide if it's the right fit for you. Okay, first off, we'll take a look at one of the features which is that this tilts away.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our RockyMounts MonoRail platform bike rack here on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is actually limited when it comes to the bike racks that can fit it because of its spare tire. I have noticed that other bike racks do have clearance issues, like you can't use the furthest or I guess the closest cradle because then your bike hits the spare tire, or you don't get enough clearance when it comes to the bottom. So here, you can immediately see that this is a really good fit for your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at our Inno Tire Hold 2 Bike Platform Rack here on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Now, your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited actually has limited options when it comes to bike racks because of the spare tire in the back. You do need a bike rack that has extra clearance when it comes to length in order to clear that spare tire, and you will lose some functions with your other bike racks. So, first off, I would like to say that the Inno tire hold is a tentative fit.
Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hi, everyone it's Evie Angeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at our Yakima Ridgeback bike rack here on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So first off for your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, you kind of have limited options when it comes to bike racks. That's just because of the spare tire in the back of your vehicle. So you'll just have to pick and choose from those bike racks, what's the best fit for you. So this is a hanging style bike rack which means that it does stick out a bit further away from your spare tire so no issues at all with that. One thing to consider though is how tall it is and if you have heavier bikes.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hi everyone, Adam at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So the Hitching Post Pro is going to be a great product. We have a lot of customers that love it just because we can get four bikes to and from the destination. We're going to have three tie down points per bike. So we're going to have two here up top,, on the top tube of our bike and we're going to have a third one down low and that's going to be our anti sway cradle.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Adam: What's going on everybody Adam, with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule helium platform style bike rack on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So this comes in a two bike wreck version, as you see here, but it also comes in a single, so pick whichever one you think you're going to get the best use out of, but both are going to look fantastic. That is one thing I noticed right out of the box. This thing's awesome. So almost all of it is made of aluminum and we're not going to have any frame contact. As you see, we have a really cool feature here. It's just going to clamp down on your wheels.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited BA22B
Adam: What's going on everybody Adam, with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. So one thing I want to let you guys know first to make this fit properly, we are going to need to add a hitch extender. The one we're using here is a Curt and it is going to add about eight inches to the hitch receiver that you currently have. So just take that into consideration when we're going over the measurements and such. There are other options, so depending on what kind of tire you got and what kind of preference you have on branding or extenders, just go ahead and choose accordingly. But with the Curt eight inch extender, we got this to fit pretty well.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we have the Yakima StageTwo 2-Bike Platform Rack and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So the StageTwo is definitely gonna be your heavy-duty, off-road bike rack, but also, with a really good weight capacity for heavy electric bikes. Now, talking about that though, we do have this on our Jeep Wrangler with a large spare tire, so what I had to do was I had to put a hitch extension, that way, the bike rack would sit further back and I'd be able to put it on that hitch receiver. So if you want to use a bike rack, you may need to get a hitch extension too, we have some options here at etrailer. The downside of those hitch extensions is it reduces your tongue weight capacity, and you're gonna have to get a special anti-rattle for it to be secure. But with all that in mind, let's focus on this StageTwo bike rack.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hi everyone, John here, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-bike rack on our 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is going to be a great bike rack if you've got road bikes and mountain bikes that you want to get to the trail and have with a friend, I do recommend though keeping in mind that it has a 40-pound weight capacity, so it will be able to handle road bikes, mountain bikes that fit that, but your heavier fat-tire bikes and electric bikes will not be able to be used. Along with having a 47-inch wheel base, so that gives you a good amount of space. Let's take a closer look and see some of the features that this gives you whenever you're trying to get your bikes to the trail. Now, the first feature I want to show you with the Sherpa is the tilt away. This has one of the best tilt-away systems, in my opinion especially for a one bike.

Saris MHS Modular 2 Bike Rack Review - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Saris MHS Modular Bike Rack on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is your platform-style rack that is gonna be held on by both tires, so it's gonna be great for a lot of different size, shapes, and style frames, especially, those carbon fiber frames where a frame mount might warp or damage it. A couple quick things about this rack with this vehicle, we're not gonna be able to utilize the tilt down feature to access our hatch, even if we took the bike off, the spare wheel is still gonna run into that, and we're not gonna be able to fold this up either, because of the spare tire there. But if you wanna continue learning about this bike rack, we are gonna get into that as well as a recommendation towards the end of the video. So this is gonna be made out of steel and aluminum, it's gonna be lighter weight and durable. It's finished with a black powder coat, making it rust resistant.

To do that, they have this handle up at the front here, it's colored blue, you pull that towards you and let the bike rack tilt down like so. And unfortunately, with the wrangler since the door opens out like so, we are going to make contact if we try to do that. But another thing that makes this unique is, that it has the ability to swing out from the vehicle as well with both bikes attached for situations like this. To do that you come to the blue handle here at the base, you turn it to the left to loosen it up.
