Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
Overall very happy with this product. It fits snug in my receiver without alot of play. It did come with a cross bar, which surprised me since none of the pictures showed it. Initially i was concerned this wouldn't work with work with direct connect base plate, the directions weren't real clear. After a bunch of research it will indeed work with the direct connect base plate. I've yet to tow since I am still installing the base plate. Will update at a later date
The road master Falcon 2 tow bar has been great. We will be starting a new season off soon with tow bar. etrailer make life so easy.

Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2" - 5,000 lbs
I can only speak for myself but this model Tow Bar came along just at the right time. Recently I had some minor hand surgery that went bad and left my right hand total useless and unable to lift or hold anything in it. I had been using a regular Blue Ox tow bar, which work great but was very difficult for me to handle and hold up while connecting to toad and motor home. The Acclaim stays hooked up to the toad all the time so I only have to disconnect the one arm and swing it around to the other side and connect the one pin. With it staying connected I don't have to support all the weight of the tow bar and hooking it to the motor home with the ball hitch is a piece of cake. Before I had to support the bars with my leg and I ruined countless pairs of pants with grease spots from the ends of the tow arms. So if you are handicapped in any way this bar makes it much easier to hook up.

Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 8K
First rate two bar. This summer we towed our 2008 Jeep Liberty 4,000 miles behind our motorhome with no problems at all. Really quick to connect and disconnect when needed.
Great product. Everything works well....it's solid, durable and well built. The only complaint I have is the two plated bolts that hold on the tow vehicle knuckles are rusting and look terrible. I'm going to have to paint them I guess.

Blue Ox Adventurer Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs
Received my tow bar in excellent condition , amazing packaging . I was a little surprised that it required adjustment prior to use . My jeep already had a Blue Ox base plate installed so it was simple to slide the bar into the adapters . Much less complicated that my old bar . The only disadvantage is there is no way to keep the bar in an upright position . Looking forward to our first trip with it .
No problems whatsoever . One thing that I find interesting is the customer service is amazing. Not only with the tow bar but everything I have purchased .
There is not a lot of information on the internet about pulling this kind of VW. I did my homework and this works GREAT when pulling a standard transmission with key left in "ON" position. etrailer has a lot of variety to offer for different needs. This is the lower priced, plain Jane, no frills, less moving parts for something to go wrong - exactly what I was looking for tow bar. With little work it folds up for storage easily. Installation on our '98 diesel VW was clean and easy without incident (I do all my own modifications when needed. There is no rattling loose fit in tight corners or straight a ways. We don't even know we are pulling anything behind our '68 Dodge Travco B210 (modified with 5.9 Cummins)

Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs
Replaced an older Blue Ox with this one. This one is a big improvement and it never gets gets jammed up such that the hitch pin is difficult to remove. Highly recommended! One note: you may need to use a drop hitch receiver to get the tow bar arms as close to parallel to the ground as they are supposed to be. Read the instructions and do some measuring to stay safe!
Still working perfectly! Much easier to use than the old style tow bar we had. This thing is very sturdy and very easy to use. Highly recommended!
worked as advertised, installation is the same labor as other tow bars. The Avail tow bar is sturdy and able to tow my 7K lbs vehicle.

Roadmaster Tracker Tow Bar - 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs
I HAD A FOLD AWAY SOLD IT.. I HAVE TWO LOCKS TO GO WHERE THE PINS ARE..I WILL PUT THE PINS WHERE IT WILL HOLD IT UP.. THIS WILL STAY ON MY CAR.. I WILL GET A LOT OF USE OUT OF THIS..
I purchased both the parts of the tow system. I just purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee (99) to pull behind our motorhome for week end trips. We just returned from the first week-end with access to a vehicle to move around the area, and short trips to town. It adds a wonderful dimension to the experience. This system allowed us to pull this vehicle with our motorhome, and I can say it pulled as if there was nothing behind me. It was quick to hook up, and easy to un-hook. My labor time to install was about 2 1/2 Hours, and went smoothly. This is a wonderful product, and works as desired. I have attached photos of the After installation, and the camp-site we stayed at, (proving we made it)

Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
I purchased a 2019 Chevy Traverse because it was towable. To my dismay, roadmaster did not have a baseplate designed for this vehicle. I waited for some time and then found that blue ox had a baseplate. I loved my previous roadmaster towbar, and was pleased to find that this towbar came with the blue ox connectors. I have been very pleased with how easy it is to hook up and un hook the toad. This is much better than my previous car mount towbar. I would highly recommend this towbar.
The towbar still functions flawlessly. The connector arms still slide in and out very easily. The unit just works, and works well. I will still highly recommend this towbar.
I gave each and every one of the items I purchased a 5star rating because they each have contributed greatly to my confidence and sense of security about full-time RVing in my Class C rv towing my little car behind. Each product has been well made and thought out and the service from etrailer has been great....from price to shipping and packaging. I couldn't be more pleased with everything. Job well done. Thank you.

Tow Ready Adjustable Tow Bar, 5,000 lbs
Was well made with thick gauge metal.Great finish for good rust protection.Design is good for ease of attachment and tear-down.Am impressed with overall product. George I am impressed with you and your web page. Your written attitude is something out of the past as I am an old timer who misses the politeness of my past. Keep on being you. Love ya, Merritt Ps suggest customers buy chain package, than running around to find all the parts.
george, havent used yet. Installed the brackets on bumper, everything aligned great. Still think your great! ,
Let me start by saying you can't find a better company to work with than etrailer. I placed an order for a Blue Ox tow bar only to find out later that the tow bar hadn't even been manufactured so a reliable deliver date could not be provided. I told the sales rep that I needed the bar ASAP since I had a trip planned and needed to tow my Suzuki Sidekick behind my motorhome. They suggested I change my order for one that was in stock but was told that it would be 7-10 days before it would arrive. I placed the order but expressed my displeasure over the length of time it would take to get to me. Since I didn't want to pay for expedited shipping, I took my chances that it would arrive in time. To my surprise it can two days later. The sales rep apparently picked up on my frustration on the delivery interval and took it upon himself to make sure the tow bar got to me in time for my trip. Thanks again for such great customer service.

Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - RV Mount - 8K
I am very pleased with the operation and performance of this tow bar. It is easy enough to handle, the tension release levels work great, and the built in cable holders really make for a clean operating set up. For our set up (2018 F-53 chassis pulling a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Sport), we needed a 2" drop hitch receiver. For our configuration, the Nighthawk needed to be modified because it was pulling a vehicle with the Stealth Brakebuddy: The standard 6 pin connector does not work with Brakebuddy's proprietary connector - it must use the 7-pin to custom plug cable included with the Brake buddy. To provide power to the LED array on the tow bar, I replaced the coiled cable with a simple heavy duty 4-pin trailer wire plug and cable, and connected that to the 4/5-pin connector on the RV, and plugged the Brakebuddy cable into the RV's 7-pin connection.
The Roadmaster Base Plate and All Terrain Direct Connect Tow Bar worked perfect for my 6-Speed Subaru CrossTrek. Looking forward to exploring and traveling later this spring.

Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 10K
Very pleased in the condition of our packages when they arrived and how timely they arrived.
Towing a Wrangler 4 door behind my motorhome, have gone 20K miles now and no issues, i am not using the cross bar as my vehicle mount does not require that. Due to the road dust and everything it gets quite dirty of course. It has been working well along, easy enough to connect. If you have to disconnect on a hill it gets a bit tricky to unlatch and such, but just takes practice.
A year later it is still all good, getting dirty is all. Mechanism and joints still function well.

Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 8K
The towbar arrived in an old box whith holes covered by tape. The towbar was ok. The unit was not what I thought I had ordered and the process to return it was quick and efficient. No hassle except waiting 27 minutes on the phone for support is a little rude.
Received in a damaged box . Box had been patched and taped up at etrailer before shipping. Parts missing.

Blue Ox Allure Non-Binding Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2-1/2" Lunette Ring - 10,000 lbs
I needed a 10k tow bar to tow my 2003 Dodge 3500 4x4 on occasion. I purchased to bracket, tow bar and 2 5/16" coupler. So I've got about $1600 invested in a hitch that bent in half on its second use. After several phone calls with Blue Ox we were able to have replacement parts sent for me to make repairs if I sent the damaged parts back. Well I haven't used it since the incident and will probably never use it again. So in short I wouldn't recommend a Blue Ox hitch to do any type of towing. I have been using Roadmaster products on my cars for the last 3 years with absolutely no problem. I guess I should have just broke down and used the motorhome mount 10k hitch they offer.
I upgraded to the Allure tow bar from a Blue Ox Acclaim. I'm very satisfied with the performance of the Allure. I tow commercially and was going through an Acclaim tow bar every 15 months or so. Upgrading to the Allure should give me greater longevity and provides me with greater distance between my tow vehicle and the vehicle I'm driving. My one comment that I have is that I have to disassemble, clean, lubricate and adjust the tow bar every time I come home from towing. the extendible arms are will develop heavy rust in short order if you don't lubricate often. I use marine grade waterproof grease. Live any device proper maintenance preserves it's lifespan.

Blue Ox Trion Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2-1/2" Lunette Ring - 20,000 lbs
The tow bar that I purchased has so far been great. I own a concrete mixer truck and I work it in different towns all over the country and in order to bring the Mixer truck and the pick up truck it requires my blue ox tow bar. In 2017 I towed my 2013 ram 2500 behind my 1998 peterbilt Mixer truck from Los Angeles to Las Vegas then from Las Vegas to durango co. Then to Blythe ca. Where my current job is. So it's done me well all year
Overall good product but once the arms are locked out, all you can do if free them to move a little. You cannot retract them and I guess that is due to the 20,000 tow capacity. If you line up the vehicle to tow by yourself, this can take some time to get it right so you can get the Pindle ring and tow bars hooked to the vehicles.

Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar Installation - 2011 Jeep Liberty
Hi there Jeep owners today in your 2011 Jeep Liberty, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster stowmaster 5,000 lunette ring tow bar. There's five main components you'll need when flat towing your vehicle with whatever you want to pull it with, whether it be a motor home or a tractor trailer. You'll need your tow bar, which is the connection between your vehicle and whatever you're towing. You'll need your safety cables, which is a supplemental connection in addition to your tow bar. You'll need your diode wiring, which takes all the lighting signals from the towing vehicle and sends them to the towed vehicle. And you'll also need your supplemental braking system, which will apply the brakes on your towed vehicle whenever you hit the brakes inside your towing vehicle.
Tow Bar Wiring Diode Installation - 2011 Jeep Liberty
Today on this 2011 Jeep Liberty, we are going to install part number 48955. First off, what we are going to do for our wire harness is find a spot where we are going to locate the 4-pole end. And you can do it anywhere you want. We are going to actually run it to the center on this vehicle right here for now. Put it over this pin. And then we will go ahead and start routing our cable from the front of the vehicle all of the way back. Just stay away from anything moving, like the suspension components, or anything hot, like the exhaust. OK, we will take our ground wire with the ring terminal and we will run it straight to the frame. We will go ahead and show you how we routed our wire. Above the sub-frame there is a piece of tubing that goes all of the way across the suspension. So we actually thread it through from the front to the rear. It is actually easier to see from the back side right here. And then we were able to run it through the frame, using the wire pull. We were able to go all of the way out to the back of the vehicle. We were also able to route it through the back cross member. Our green and brown wires go over to the passenger side of our vehicle. And our yellow and brown wires will go over to the driver side. 1:02
Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring Kit Installation - 2006 Jeep Liberty
Today on this 2006 Jeep Liberty we are going to install part number RM-154 from Roadmaster. What this does is allows us to wire up the vehicle so that it can be towed behind an RV. The first step is to route the wire from the front to rear and the wire harness comes with two truck ends on the wiring harness itself. We are just going to cut off one end of it, leave about a foot or so on there in case we need to use it again or in case the original one gets worn out. This 4-pole is going to stay at the front and basically you can think about it as like wiring up a utility trailer. This is going to stay in the front and the car is going to become a trailer at this point. We are going to run our wire between the plastic up in here towards the center as close as possible because in the future a face plate will get installed in that general area. Thread that on through until we come out the other side and we are going to route it all the way back and stay away from the suspension components and we are actually going to run it through the frame. 01:00
Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring Kit Installation - 2004 Jeep Liberty
Today we will be installing Roadmaster universal wiring kit, RM-154, on a 2004 Jeep Liberty. Our first step is going to be to mount this small bracket here in the front of the vehicle that we are going to tie the front end off so it will be accessible when attaching to your motor home. This is a self-threading bolt. It may be slightly difficult to get started but once you do it gets much easier. Our bracket is mounted. I am going to zip-tie my front connector off to it and begin the routing of my wire to the rear of the vehicle. You can see our wire coming up over the axle now. We are going to use these two rear mounting holes. We are going to zip-tie off the rear leader going to our taillights. Now that we have our wire feed run to the rear of the vehicle, what we need to do is remove the taillight lenses in order to splice our wire in. The first step is going to be open the rear hatch of the vehicle and remove the ports bit screws so that we can remove the lenses. Alright, now that we have our screws removed, we can pop our taillight lens out. I even like to go ahead and disconnect my hold-down and then go ahead and disconnect the harness so I can set the taillight lens out of the way. Our harness plug has a locking tab that will have to be pushed up. Then press on your tab to remove your harness. I am going to repeat the same steps on the driver side. 1:46
Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System Installation - 2002 Jeep Liberty
Today on this 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport we're going to install product number RM-8700 from Roadmaster. This is their InvisiBrake Kit. Alright, first thing we do is figure out where we're going to install pulley and then air cylinder and plus this cable will activate it so we want to keep the bins as little as possible in the cable. So were actually going to hide it underneath the threshold going across here and also by the back seat. So we'll just pop up this threshold here. We're going to lay out our air cylinder in this area right here.
Roadmaster Base Plate Installation - 2002 Jeep Liberty
Today on this 2002 Jeep Liberty we are going to install Base Plate from Roadmaster, part number 521423-1 from Roadmaster. What we have done so far is remove the front wheels, now you dont have to do this, but it makes the install a little bit easier to get behind to the fasteners in the wheel well. We are going to start from the top and work our way down. Work at the top of the grill and remove the fasteners to take out the grill and then we will start working on the bumper cover. There are four fasteners on the top, here, here, here, and here will start with. And there will be 6 plastic fasteners we have to remove at the top edge of the bumper cover.
Works well. Took a 45 daytrip out west without any problem. I love the fact that I can hook up my jeep to my RV without assistance.
