Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
I purchased these tow mirrors for my 1995 jeep XJ to have extra visibility while towing my offroad trailer. All mounting hardware is still in good shape after one year and about 8 weekend trips. The reason I gave 4 stars is because it does become a pain to remove mirrors when getting through the trees and having to reinstall, but that is what offroad life is like.
We find the mirrors to be a little distracting. They seem to point down to much and can't seem to adjust them. They are fairly easy to install. We got them to use while pulling our RPod camper but they weren't helpful. Could be the operator.

Delivery was quick. The mirrors slipped on with ease and fit well over the existing mirrors and looked almost factory attached. Then came the task for securing the attachments to the vehicle. While the concept is easy someone forgot to check deminsions of the parts and were to short to work on my vehicle. I contacted etrailer by chat and asked if there were alternatives for securing the mirrors and unfortunately there weren't any. Then came my decision to use heavy duty electrical looped through the hole the sent hardware was to be inserted through. Unless you look closely they are not easily seen. When I want to remove the mirrors I simply snip the cable tie on each mirror and ues new ones the next time I need to use the mirrors. While my "fix" works they only 3 star because to the attachment hardware.
It needs some extra work to attach it. It does not come with sufficient fasteners to secure it over the existing mirror. I created an engineering marvel using zip ties. It works fine once it is installed.

I just wrestled the mirror extensions on. I'm a bit concerned about the 'keeper' screw, it has quite a bit of tension on it. How long am I covered if it breaks? Is it easily available if it does? I'm also not thrilled about the lower edge, it juts down 3/4" past the actual mirror housing. The padding on the bottom of the extensions isn't touching anything, it's about 7/16" - 1/2" from the mirror housing. Please take a look at the pics attached, maybe I have them on wrong...
London and I Thank You for this Fine product! While towing London's Trailer; it helps me keep him safe! We Ride in different State Parks; and attend Equine events! Note: The only reason I gave a Four Star revenue; was the screw clips, are easy too lose! I ordered an extra set; and sure enough I did lose one setup! The Mirrors themselves are Excellent! I was warned about vibration; however I never go over 60 MPG while towing my Horse London, and no vibration occurred! Smile! London & pickles (aka Michael)

they did not fit on my 1994 voyager as advertised they seemed like a nice quality part but unfortunately it did not work for my application
I haven't had them on the road yet, but the fit looks fair at best. I just hope I have some warning should they decide to try to fall off.

We used these on our GMC Sierra 1500 towing our bumper pull trailer. They are easy to install and remove. We towed from TX to Key West, FL and they make a huge difference to your visibility in the side lanes, and make it much easier to change lanes. We no longer use them since we upgraded to a larger 5th wheel and a 3/4 ton diesel that already has large towing mirrors, but would definitely recommend these if you just have regular mirrors on your truck.
These mirrors fit perfect. They allow the turn signals to be seen and the cameras are not blocked by them. I just bought a new trailer from Trailers Inc in Cairo, ny that is 8.5’ wide and these mirrors made my trip much easier and safer. These mirrors slip on quickly and are secure. They did not flutter or shake at all at highway speeds. I also am able to fold the mirrors against the doors and they do not interfere with the process. I am going to get a set for my other vehicle. Tow vehicle is a 2020 Sierra Denali 1500 with non factory tow mirrors.

Just installed them and tried. It would be great if they did not vibrate that much; unfortunately they do; so we will have to find a way to improve it.
Perfect fit ty.

These work great on my 2001 Mazda truck. I use them when towing my 17 travel trailer. I’ve tried various clip-on, suction cup, and strap-on extension mirrors. Some time or another, these mirrors will suddenly give and fall off. I don’t have to worry about that with these Longview mirrors. Wish I had found these years ago.
Assembled poorly. One of the mirrors was glued together poorly and came apart before or during shipping. Would not fit a 2001 explorer sport with puddle light as said by their expert. Return was made easy by etrailer.

The product was exactly what I needed and wanted. Looks great on the new truck mirrows. The price was very reasonable. They work perfectly while towing our trailer.
Love the mirrors. You get pretty good viewing window with them. They fit well. The only down side is the foam tape, because of vehicle vibration and hotter temps in summer, it can roll and leave residue on the OEM mirror housing. Other than that, has been a solid purchase.

These mirrors are excellent. They are incredibly easy and quick to install and remove, provide a great view around the trailer, and there's virtually no vibration when underway. Worth every penny and then some.
It would have been a big difference if the passenger side had a convex mirror instead of a standard mirror, you would be able to see much more of the next lane . Otherwise very nice quality and very helpful,

Be aware. The pad coming with those mirrors is way to small. There will be spots, where the inner of the mirrors touches the plastic of your real mirror. It will strach them! Tried to pad the mirror more from the inside. But its not possible to get such a thin pad like the one coming with these mirrors. In this case, they get to thick and dont fit anymore. Currently on use on a 1995 Chevy Suburban (aftermarket mirrors).
These people have great customer service and the products seem to always be in stock

This mirror extension set was extremely easy to install on my Chevy Silverado. It looks good and seems like it will work well. I have my RV hooked up but haven’t tried them out on the highway. I will be watching for how secure they are at 70 mph. My only surprise was the design on the back side. I expected them to be just plain textured plastic. It’s ok though.
Impressed with the mirrors. They fit well, are fairly stable at speed. Already one year, they still are holding up. Two complaints: 1. They don't have a screw adjustment to tighten down the mirrors. They do get looser with time. 2. They don't have a cutout for the puddle lamp. Even a scored area would have been nice so I could drill my own hole.

Overall a very good product. Fits well an easy to install. Doesn't interfere with the breakaway function of the vehicle mirror. Mirrors do vibrate some, but not as bad as others I've used in the past. My one suggestion for product improvement would be to stiffen or dampen the mirror mounts to reduce vibration.
Actually I would give them a 4.5 stars. Not a 5 just because they don't go far enough out for me to see down the sides of my snowmobile trailer converted to a mobile workshop.

5,000 plus miles and counting. Leave them on even when not towing. No wiggle. Mountings still secure. Aerodynamic and much more attractive than other mounting systems. Pricy but well worth it. Toyota did not even offer towing mirrors for the 1st generation Tundras!!!
The mirrors for well. It takes two people to put them on o e to hold the mirror and one to turn the threaded knobs on the posts. Also the "padding" supplied to cushion the area where it comes in contact with the stock mirror was worthless. I had to use the soft part of velcro to replace the supplied cushion. I took my pickup out to check for visibility and vibration and was very impressed with the mirrors visibility and near lack of vibration.
