Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
Had it installed by my RV Service guy, and it’s worked great for us in towing our Jeep Cherokee with the Roadmaster Falcon 2 towing system!
Very durable and as advertised and received from etrailer on time. However, I am installing this on a Jeep Cherokee using the direct method so I dont need the crossbar. Roadmaster should sell this tow bar with or without the crossbar. I now have a very heavy piece of equipment (in a separate box) I will never use. One of the security clips for the connecting pin is defective (bent) so I will be looking for a replacement already tomorrow.

Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs

Very user friendly! Have seen others struggle with cheaper tow bars! Excellent choice for seniors!

Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,500 lbs
Purchased this tow bar as a replacement for our Aventa II towbar that Blue Ox would not service (won't touch anything over 8 yrs old). Fits great and supports our Jeep Cherokee.
This is my second Blue OX Tow bar. I'm very happy with the product, the reason I ordered again is that I had a mishap while on a trip a couple of weeks ago that compromised my original tow bar and I didn't feel safe using it although it performed excellently for the remainder of the 2000 mile trip.

Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
The product, Falcon 2 Tow bar, is a definite improvement on my 10+ year old Blue Ox Aladdin. Probably not a fair comparison due to age difference. Went on a 700 mile test ride, all is good! The packaging from Roadmaster / etrailer could use improvement. The box arrived with multiple holes large enough to stick my arm through to other side. etrailer support confirm Ed no loose parts to fall out of box and product seems to be ok. The tow bar while in use is a few inches longer vs the Blue Ox Aladdin it replaced. Therefore my safety cables & brake disconnect are a bit short.

Blue Ox Adventurer Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs
There is not a lot of information on the internet about pulling this kind of VW. I did my homework and this works GREAT when pulling a standard transmission with key left in "ON" position. etrailer has a lot of variety to offer for different needs. This is the lower priced, plain Jane, no frills, less moving parts for something to go wrong - exactly what I was looking for tow bar. With little work it folds up for storage easily. Installation on our '98 diesel VW was clean and easy without incident (I do all my own modifications when needed. There is no rattling loose fit in tight corners or straight a ways. We don't even know we are pulling anything behind our '68 Dodge Travco B210 (modified with 5.9 Cummins)
I bought this Blue Ox 5000lbs capacity tow bar because my Subaru Crosstrek only weighs 3100lbs and maybe 3300lbs while fully loaded with gear. I also wanted a simple tow bar that didn't break the bank. This item arrived in less than two days. The Tow Bar fits perfectly in the back of the Subaru when not in use.

Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2" - 5,000 lbs
I can only speak for myself but this model Tow Bar came along just at the right time. Recently I had some minor hand surgery that went bad and left my right hand total useless and unable to lift or hold anything in it. I had been using a regular Blue Ox tow bar, which work great but was very difficult for me to handle and hold up while connecting to toad and motor home. The Acclaim stays hooked up to the toad all the time so I only have to disconnect the one arm and swing it around to the other side and connect the one pin. With it staying connected I don't have to support all the weight of the tow bar and hooking it to the motor home with the ball hitch is a piece of cake. Before I had to support the bars with my leg and I ruined countless pairs of pants with grease spots from the ends of the tow arms. So if you are handicapped in any way this bar makes it much easier to hook up.
Arrived on time. Works on my iM Toyota. I like this better than the 2" received models for motorhomes for towing 5000 lbs or less. Much easier and quicker to connect. This hitch folds and stays on the car while traveling. Always pleased with the service from etrailer.com!
This is the second Blue Ox Unit I have owned. The first for a motorcoach and the second to make transfers with my 3500 pickup. Love the tow bar. Much easier to connect than the receiver type - and - stows on the front of my Toyota iM. Blue Ox products are first class and I always purchase from Etrailer if they stock it because of the professionalism and service.

etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
Easy to use and I like the way it stows. Also the safety cable hangers on the arms are a very nice touch, no dragging safety cables
I saved a ton of money doing this job myself. The job was not bad at all. I saved about a little over $4000 with the complete installation including tow bar, base plate and invisibrake system.

Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 8K
Great product. Everything works well....it's solid, durable and well built. The only complaint I have is the two plated bolts that hold on the tow vehicle knuckles are rusting and look terrible. I'm going to have to paint them I guess.
This is my second Roadmaster Tow Bar. I purchased the first one in 2010. It gave us 10 years of great service. However it was ready for a tune up and I just didn’t have the time to do it. This purchase is very similar to the previous one. It has everything needed to get you on the road. It included safety cables with an improved method of connecting it to my toad. It also has a heavy duty electrical cable. I did have one issue. The box was damaged and I was missing one bolt. It wasn’t a big issue, I was able to get another one at the local hardware store. The tow bar is very well constructed and has a great appearance. I’ll be hooking between my Jeep Rubicon Unlimited and my Tiffin Motorhome. Can’t wait to try it out.
Love it. Highly recommend

Blue Ox Allure Non-Binding Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2-1/2" Lunette Ring - 10,000 lbs
I needed a 10k tow bar to tow my 2003 Dodge 3500 4x4 on occasion. I purchased to bracket, tow bar and 2 5/16" coupler. So I've got about $1600 invested in a hitch that bent in half on its second use. After several phone calls with Blue Ox we were able to have replacement parts sent for me to make repairs if I sent the damaged parts back. Well I haven't used it since the incident and will probably never use it again. So in short I wouldn't recommend a Blue Ox hitch to do any type of towing. I have been using Roadmaster products on my cars for the last 3 years with absolutely no problem. I guess I should have just broke down and used the motorhome mount 10k hitch they offer.
I upgraded to the Allure tow bar from a Blue Ox Acclaim. I'm very satisfied with the performance of the Allure. I tow commercially and was going through an Acclaim tow bar every 15 months or so. Upgrading to the Allure should give me greater longevity and provides me with greater distance between my tow vehicle and the vehicle I'm driving. My one comment that I have is that I have to disassemble, clean, lubricate and adjust the tow bar every time I come home from towing. the extendible arms are will develop heavy rust in short order if you don't lubricate often. I use marine grade waterproof grease. Live any device proper maintenance preserves it's lifespan.

Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 10K
Towing a Wrangler 4 door behind my motorhome, have gone 20K miles now and no issues, i am not using the cross bar as my vehicle mount does not require that. Due to the road dust and everything it gets quite dirty of course. It has been working well along, easy enough to connect. If you have to disconnect on a hill it gets a bit tricky to unlatch and such, but just takes practice.
A year later it is still all good, getting dirty is all. Mechanism and joints still function well.
The tow bar and shipping are very good. The bar works like it is suppose to, hooks up easy and unhooks easy and pulls my 1/2 ton PU great!! Road Master makes great products
1 year later and the tow bow is still working great !!!
etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar Installation - 2021 Jeep Cherokee
Hey everybody, how's it goin' Today, we're gonna to be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer SD Tow Bar here on a 2021 Jeep Cherokee. A lot of the tow bars such as this one come with the safety cables, therefore we don't need to purchase that separately. We're also gonna need a supplemental braking system in most states and a wiring harness to transmit the signals. The SD Tow Bar is rated for 6,000 pounds, which is gonna be more than enough for the Cherokee here, you shouldn't ever have to worry about exceeding that.
