24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Very pleased, easy to assemble and seems very sturdy,it's got plenty of room and I like that it has rails around it.I highly recommend getting the etrailer anti rattle stabilizer too,it really tightens it up.
OUTSTANDING in every way! As a disabled veteran I was looking for a way to carry my snow blower and lawnmower with my 2020 Grand Cherokee to work and assist others outside my home. I found the etrailer website while surfing and their site offered more information and carrier sizes to chose from. The purchase process was easy and etrailer communicated with me every step after the purchase until delivery. It took about 30 minutes to assemble in my living room and the carrier is sturdy, easy to install and just what I was looking for. etrailer is the bench mark for businesses to model. Thank You

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
This was an all around outstanding experience. I had a general idea of what I wanted to purchase and found etrailer on line. They had a great selection of the cargo carrier that I was looking for so I was able to get exactly what I was hoping to find. Other things to like about etrailer: Lightning fast delivery to MA No brainer simple assembly directions Great follow up and customer service. I know where I will be going for further trailer needs. Thank you
This shelf is terrific; the best solution. FAR FAR better than one of those cases you buy for your roof, less drag, no noise and lots of space. Plus, lots of room for the hatch of my Jeep Cherokee to open un-obstructed.

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black Glossy
The box is big (XL), shiny and sleek. Looks great on our 2021 Subaru Ascent. It weighs about 40lbs, so I was able to simply lift it up and onto the stock Subaru cross bars by myself with a bit of effort going towards balance. Then it was just a matter of attaching the clamps by hand tightening them. I don’t think it could get any easier. The locking mechanism is very assertive and secure. The box is big and can hold just about anything you’d need on a road trip. However, on a midsize SUV like the Ascent, it seems like the perfect size, not too small, not too big. It’s a good fit. Unfortunately, my small 2 car garage is too low to accommodate the vehicle with the box in place. Overall it’s a very refined and well thought out package.
One year later, the box is still functioning as expected. I’ve come to appreciate the rugged, yet sleek aesthetics. They really allow this box to stand out against the completion. My advice to new buyers would be to buy as much box that will fit on top of your vehicle. You’ll find that you’ll always be wanting more space.
Fits GREAT on my 2019 Honda Passport and was super easy to install. I love the sliding mounting brackets -- that made it really easy to get it positioned where I wanted it. The back hatch still opens all the way and even wound up with a little room to spare on the front. This box is super high quality. The lock and latches feel really solid, it opens very smoothly, and it looks great!

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs
We were very happy with our Thule roof rack. The low profile design works well and does not have too much wind noise compared to others I’ve had. It’s held up very well also through the seasons.
Still in great shape. No rust. No rattles. Great cargo rack
The Canyon XT installed with ease & also provides multiple mounting brackets for attaching to crossbars. It will definitely give us more interior room or additional cargo capacity! I highly suggest reading the directions a few times before you start & during assembly. Some parts are in the same bag for a step while other steps need parts from different bags. Depending on your vehicle, all parts may not be used. So make sure the parts you have left over are the right ones!

Thule Transporter Combi Hitch Mounted Enclosed Cargo Carrier - Tilting
Delivered in great condition. Assembly is not a problem. 13mm and 19 mm socket works much better than tools provided. Takes about 1 hour to assemble. Thanks Caroline for your follow up.
Really happy with it for our purposes. Works well on our 2014 Subaru outback. This is a great fit for us because it facilitates extra storage while still being able to use rooftop ski carrier or transport a canoe. The opposite would be true for folks wanting to use a bike hitch rack, But we don't tend to do as many gear heavy bike trips as we do other activities.

Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black AeroSkin
I really like this box. I have used it on many trips. There is a slight increase in wind noise while driving. I built my own cross bars for clamping it to the roof. I made them very low so the box fits close to the roof. I am surprised how water tight it is. It is big, I am barely able to get it on and off by myself. The clamps work great for holding the box in place, but they do pop out of their holding spots when they are not clamped down. I think it’s designed that way so they don’t break when storing or handling the box. Would be nice if there were handles on it like a suitcase handle to make it easier for one person to carry it and move it.
It has worked great. Little to no additional wind noise. I drove all day in a rain storm, I expected a lot of water inside the carrier, but found only a tablespoon or so of water. The clamps hold tight.
etrailer stocking and shipping got it to me in about 5 weeks, beat original estimated timeline. Tracking info right on, projected delivery date met. I am mounting the THULE Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box to a full length PRINSCU roof rack on a 2020 Toyota 4Runner. Had to remove 2 of the crossbars to allow for the floor of the box to sit flush onto the rails. Once done, used the THULE quick clamps around the 2"x1" bars and installation completed!

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Titan Glossy
Originally I ordered the glossy black box which wasn't going to be in stock for a couple weeks from the time of my order, which I knew. George notified me within an hour from placing my order and gave me the option to get the gray box which was available right away. A couple weeks later when I thought it would be shipping, I checked the order status page and saw it was pushed back even further. Unfortunately I was not notified about that. When I contacted etrailer, they responded very quickly. I was able to swap out with the gray (same product) and it arrived super quick. I thought they were supposed to schedule delivery but they did not. I woke up one morning to a humongous box outside the door. That’s ok though! The box is great and we just installed it a week ago and are using it for our first weekend away right now. It is huge but fits perfect on my 2019 Mazda CX-9. No issues with hatch or anything. Super easy to get on the roof rack with the clamps. We did have three people to get it up on the car though. It’s only 42 or so lbs but big and clumsy. I drove a little bit with it empty and feel like it chewed gas but coming a couple hours with it filled didn’t seem too bad with the highway miles. Time will tell but still worth it for the space were saving in the back of the car. etrailer had this box when no one else had it (or any other Thule box for that matter) and we had an overall great experience with them and I LOVE the box. My family and I travel a lot and this is a game changer. We fit every duffel bag (like 5 medium to large bags) and then some other bags in there. Highly recommend etrailer and this specific cargo box.
We don't even know we have the Thule Motion XT on top of our 2018 Sienna. Holds our 12 foot Clam shelter and all our camping gear so we can sleep inside the van.

Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft - Matte Black
I ordered the Thule Pulse medium rooftop cargo box. We did have a little delay in receiving the product beyond what was expected. When we ordered, we were advised it would ship in six weeks as it was back ordered This was okay for my needs. Then we received messages a couple times that pushed it out over a month longer. I contacted customer service and was advised it was due to the fact that the payment needed to be reauthorized as it had been too long. I explained I received an email when that happened and immediately took care of that. Apparently, according to the customer service person I spoke with, this pushed my order behind others that had ordered after I had. He did push things along and I fortunately received it before our scheduled trip. It was easy to mount to my wife’s Jeep Cherokee. It is very sturdy and easily accommodated our dogs bed and supplies and luggage for three of us for a four day trip. It was much quieter on expressway travel than I expected. And when we returned home it was very easy to remove and store. So the bottom line, customer service was helpful in resolving the delay issue, the product is of good quality and was exactly what we needed. Installation and removal was easy and storage space was sufficient. It was easy to position the box for easy passenger side loading and without interference with the lift gate.
I was happy with my order and the communication with etrailer. The packaging was excellent and delivery was excellent. The Thule Pulse rooftop cargo box is a good fit for our 2019 Toyota Highlander.

15x52 Hollywood Racks Hitch Cargo Carrier for Sport Rider SE and SE2 Bike Racks - 2" Hitches
I received this item yesterday, very happy that it arrived 4 days earlier than first projected. I've been sweating that as I need it for a trip next weekend. I messaged eTrailer and asked for expedited delivery and I am thankful for their help! I immediately assembled the platform and it went together well and all the hardware was included. They also provide a 'wrench' but the instructions recommend using a ratchet and that is definitely preferred. The instructions were clear and final assembly results in a sturdy basket. However when I installed it on my hitch I was disappointed with the amount of rocking present even though I specifically bought this unit because it has an anti-sway feature built in. I was able to figure out that the unit was pulling up against the pin but, with a little more clearance in the slot, the platform can pull up against the face of the extender which is much more stable. I expanded the slot with my Dremel tool and it is very solid now. I am still interested in mounting the platform without the extender but I don't know if that can be done. I intend to try with the Sport Rider SE2 (HR1450Z) shortly. Oh, I applied the reflective strips to the round pipe section and the flattened out overnight ... predictable! Then I put them on the flat areas and cut off the overlap. Much better!
Im still very happy with the cargo Carrier once I made the slot adjustment. After the first trip I found a zippered, rain resistant cover the straps to the Carrier nicely and still holds 24 suitcases standing up.
We purchased this cargo carrier for our 25ft RV motorhome. Used along with bike racks. Worked as advertised and expected.
We used the cargo carrier with bike racks for a trip from RI to FL and back. Cargo carrier was great for additional storage though do have to calculate weight and make sure stay within limits of your vehicle. The whole assembly did extend out several feet so you have to keep that in mind. We did max out once when leaving a driveway onto a road with significant dip in between and the cargo carrier bottomed out. In general though the product does exactly as advertised.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Looks like it will be a great help for the scooter and two bikes I will carry on the back of the motorhome! Good material, all folding mechanisms work well and should perform as advertised.
This carrier worked out great. The tilt down feature is helpful to have but I didn't really need it. However, the fold up feature was helpful when driving around, so I recommend that as a convenience. The only thing I had trouble with was the hitch bolt. I have a Thule bike rack that I've used with my truck hitch receiver and never had a problem, but this rack's hitch bolt was a real pain to get in at first. Don't be dismayed. With the rack off of the vehicle, I used some WD-40 and some lithium grease on the bolt and then used an adjustable wrench to screw it in and out a number of times. I noticed a bunch of either paint or metal shards gumming up the threads on the bolt each time I removed it. After about 5 times of screwing it in and out, wiping off the bolt with a towel, adding some more grease once in a while, it got to the point that I could screw it in and out by hand pretty easily. Problem solved. I'm really happy with this rack. It fit two big coolers of food and beer plus beach umbrellas and other stuff. It's really strong and sturdy. The biggest issue was not the weight on the rack, but whether the rear suspension on the Highlander could hold it with our other junk in the back plus passengers. :-)
Its been a year since I purchased this and I used it on another vacation, driving through multiple states. Its very sturdy and I continue to be pleased with this purchase. I will say I had some trouble with the hitch bolt again. It was impossible to screw in by hand and using an adjustable wrench is a tedious chore. I didnt have time before leaving on the trip to do what I did the last time wd-40lithium. It would be nice to have a better locking system...something other than a bolt that screws in. Ill have to look for that. All things considered, Im still happy with this rack and I would still recommend it. Im sure Im going to be using this for many more years.

17x50 Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
Assembly instructions very easy. Well done, thanks. Only upgrade/tip I would share is: if the threaded hitch pin bolt doesn’t thread easily, you may have to pull down on one side of the cargo carrier to make the alignment to the hitch better. When you do this, it threads by hand. My alignment is off a bit…. The threaded hitch pin Bolt requires a 15/16 inch wrench versus the 7/8 inch stated in the Instructions. Thanks again Note - I purchased and installed the Draw Tite hitch receiver from you a few months ago.
solid unit, easy to assemble

Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 52" Long x 48" Wide
The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.
Easy to install, direct to the Yakima Aero bars. Unfortunately had to buy clamps for tools from another source, but the rack is great!
etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2021 Jeep Cherokee
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer and today we're going to be taking a look at our Etrailer Folding and Tilting Cargo Carrier right here on our 2021 Jeep Cherokee. So this checks off all the boxes for your cargo carrying needs. If you're going on a trip, if you have a big move ahead of you, or if you just need extra space for all of your extra stuff then that's what this cargo carrier is for. So we'll take a look at some of the specs, some of the measurements and features, but we're going to focus on our Jeep Cherokee. That way you can get the best cargo carrier, whether it's this, whether it's something else, for you, your adventures, and your vehicle. So, first off, let's take look at how much can you carry inside of this cargo carrier So we've got a decent-sized space here, a quick measurement is going to be, from the insides, about 60 inches long and then about 24 inches wide.
etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Jeep Cherokee
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we're looking at our etrailer aluminum cargo carrier here on our 2019 Jeep Cherokee. So the aluminum cargo carrier is a great way to add some extra storage space, especially for cargo or gear that you don't want inside of your vehicle. For example, let's see, y'all go out to the beach. You go on a float trip, you get all that sand, all that dirt, all that water. You don't want that inside on your nice carpets on your Jeep Cherokee.
Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Jeep Cherokee
Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at the CURT aluminum cargo carrier. Now one of the things that really sets this one apart from many of the others is that it's made from aluminum, and so it's going to be incredibly lightweight and easy to handle. And if you ever happen to get it muddy or dirty and you need to clean it, rinse off with the hose, you're not going to have to worry about it rusting either.A cargo carrier is going to help accomplish a couple of different things. One, either carry more cargo than we can fit on the inside of our Jeep ,or carry that cargo that we would normally have inside, bring it out here, and free up some space for passengers and pets. And in my opinion too, with the Jeep not being a super wide vehicle, this one's going to look really good in proportion to it.Now it's going to be 49 inches long, 22 and a half inches wide, and 4 inches deep. Now something to keep in mind whenever you're pulling into a tight parking spot or into your garage with a cargo carrier on, it is going to extend the overall length of our Cherokee.
etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Jeep Cherokee

Right now we have it as a standalone carrier that you just have into your two inch receiver. You can purchase this as a kit with the Hollywood Racks sport rider SE two bike platform rack and you can add it on to the back of that platform rack so that you can carry your gear behind your bikes separate from the inside of your vehicle. Now, you do have a good amount of space with his cargo carrier. The weight limit for it in this standalone position is 220 pounds. It shrinks down to 100 pounds of weight limit when you have it on the back of your sport rider SE2.But we go 52 inches in our width right there for space.
