Rhino-Rack SX Series Roof Rack Installation - 2023 Honda Odyssey

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at, and later, we'll be showing you how to install this Rhino-Rack roof rack on a 2023 Honda Odyssey. So it's important to note that your Odyssey has a couple of different roof options, and this particular roof rack is designed to work with raised rails. That's basically any raised section on your roof like this that we can clamp around or underneath of. If you have that, then this could be a good kit for you. It's gonna be a really simple system, 'cause you only have the crossbar up top, which we'll attach our accessories to, and then the legs that will clamp around those raised rails.

SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack Review - 2019 Honda Odyssey

Of all of the roof rack systems you have for a 2019 Honda Odyssey on our site the SeaSucker Monkey Bars are gonna be the quickest and easiest ones to get a roof rack system up and onto your roof. For the Honda Odyssey, there's some roof rack systems that you have to drill into your roof that's kind of intense. This is gonna be super easy. Right now, it's completely secured down, super, super sturdy but all we have to do is lift up on these tabs to get the roof rack completely undone and then we just take a little bit of time to pump it up. And in a matter of less than a minute we're gonna have bars that are nice and secured to our roof which makes this the ideal system for your Honda Odyssey. I've used these bars a lot and sometimes people are a little nervous.

Inno Aero Bar Roof Rack Installation - 2019 Honda Odyssey

Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Aero Crossbar Roof Rack System on our 2019 Honda Odyssey. This is going to be a great addition to your Odyssey here just because we have a lot of passengers that we can be carrying in our Odyssey. Without adding a little bit of length to the back of our vehicle, we don't really have an option to get some of that cargo out. This way with these bars, we can either have a T-track accessory like a cargo box or a cargo basket or something that simply just wraps around to get some of that cargo out of the inside of your vehicle and up here, just because whenever we're going on any long trips, the more room that each of your passengers has, the better. One of the best features about these feet are just the fact that they do come with locking cores.

Inno Roof Rack Installation - 2019 Honda Odyssey

Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the INNO square bar roof rack system on our 2019 Honda Odyssey. So, this is going to be a great way to get a lot of that cargo on the inside of your Odyssey up and out of it onto our roof. A lot of the time, some people use cargo baskets in the hitch, but that adds quite a bit of length to the back of your vehicle. So, if you're not really wanting to do that, if you're going to be in some close quarter situations, or you just rather just have it up on top so you don't have to worry about all that, I do think that the system will be a good choice for you guys. But one thing that this is lacking is just the T slot type attachments that we can put on top of it. We won't be able to do so, but a lot of those attachments are just going to wrap around your bars, and these are going to be able to use all of those on them. So, if you're putting on, let's just say, a rooftop cargo box, a cargo basket, maybe even a couple of bike carriers, or even a kayak carrier, whatever it is, I do think that these bars are going to get the job done.

Inno Aero Crossbars Installation - 2019 Honda Odyssey

Hi, everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Aero crossbars on our 2019 Honda Odyssey. With our aero bars and our flush feet, it is going to work really well with our factory rails on our Odyssey here. The nice thing about these is, it doesn't just clamp down on it, it has a band that goes underneath and it's really going to secure all that. Regardless, just a roof rack system in general is going to be ideal for this Odyssey just because we have three rows of seats.

So, luckily, we'll be able to put on any clamp on accessory just on top of here just to get all that luggage out. I know whenever I'm going on trips the more leg room the better.

Other options would be some hitch mounted accessories that'll add a little bit of length to the back of your vehicle. This way, we don't have to do that, so in those close quarters situations, we don't have to worry about any added length, which is always a plus. Also, this Odyssey does carry quite a bit of passengers; we have three rows of seating.

Malone AirFlow2 Universal Roof Rack Installation - 2019 Honda Odyssey

Adam: Hi everyone. Adam with etrailer.com, today we're going to be taking a look at the Malone Airflow2 roof rack system on our 2019 Honda Odyssey. So this is going to be a great way just to get a lot of that cargo that you might be carrying in your Odyssey up and out of your car and up onto the roof. A lot of the times when you think about a van, you know you're probably going to be hauling quite a bit of people. We have three rows of seating, so we're probably going to have quite a bit of luggage if we're going on a trip, or just maybe a quick weekend thing. Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Rack Tracks Installation - 2016 Honda Odyssey

Today we have a 2016 Honda Odyssey and we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack RT-Style roof rack track system. Some vehicles we don't have the option to put a roof rack on the roof, kind of like our Odyssey we have here. Usually it's because of sliding doors, but there are some other instances where we aren't gonna be able to put a roof rack on here, but with these rails, it's going to allow us to do that. We can do a two bar set up to get a lot of accessories on our roof. With the Rhino-Rack kit, we have two different crossbars to pick from and two different colors for each. Or we can just go with the aero crossbars, it's gonna be a little bit quieter up on your roof, a little bit more aerodynamic.

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Installation - 2016 Honda Odyssey

Today we have a 2016 Honda Odyssey and we're gonna be taking a look at the rhino rack RT style roof rack track aero bar system. There are two different types of roof rack systems you can put on a naked roof. Typically, what you see is with normal vehicles unlike vans is we have these little clamps that go in the door jams, but since we have this it's preventing us from doing that. So that's why the tracks are gonna be in that fit guide, whenever you put that vehicle in. I really like the track system, just because it gives you the ability to slide these around when it comes to the other style clamp naked roof sets that you may be seeing, we're kind of limited to where we need to put them. Half the time in the instructions it tells you to put it in a specific spot and you're kind of limited there.

Malone SteelTop Square Crossbars Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Honda Odyssey

Zach: Hey guys, Zach here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Malone Raised Rail Steel Roof Rack on our 2014 Honda Odyssey. These are going to be a great way to get a roof rack on your vehicle, especially if you have this raised rail. If you don't have those, if you just have the naked roof, check out the etrailer Raised Rail System, but this will allow you to carry all kinds of stuff from bike racks, to cargo baskets, or even cargo boxes to help you get some stuff on top of the vehicle and keep it out of your car to free up some space for your friends and family. These are the steel square style bars that are measuring at 58 inches long. We also offer a 65 inch version that will fit on here, but they're going to stick out a little bit further and you run the risk of hitting your head on those when you're getting in and out of the car. I like the way these end right at the body of the vehicle, but it still gives us that full roof capacity.

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2014 Honda Odyssey

Today in our 2014 Honda Odyssey, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero roof rack system for naked roofs. You can also purchase this kit with silver crossbars. This roof rack system allows you to carry, a wide variety of accessories or equipment on top of the roof of your vehicle to conserve space on the inside. The aerodynamic shape of the crossbar, along with the rubber strip that fills the T-track, help cut down on wind noise and drag. To access the T-track, just take your included key, and unlock your end cap, and then you can pull it off. And right here, you have access to this channel.

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Honda Odyssey

Today on 2011 Honda Odyssey, we're going to test fit the Thule Roof Rack System using the Rapid Crossroads Foot Pack and a 60-inch AeroBlade, product number TH450R and THARB60. We'll start off with our roof rack already assembled according to instructions and we'll fit them to the factory rails. Place the first rail on top of the vehicle and put the strap underneath the factory rail and onto the clip on the other side. For our test fit, we'll be using a generic measurement taking from the scene of the roof rack to the leading edge of the foot pack to place the bars properly. With the front bar in the proper spot, we want to make sure it's even on both sides. Once we have it in position, we can begin to tighten down the clamp that goes to its factory rail.

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2010 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2010 Honda Odyssey we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System consisting of part numbers RRVA118B-2. Those are the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Cross Bars, and part number RRSX001, and those are the SX series legs for the Vortex Aero Cross Bars. Particularly for raised factory side rails. We have the front one installed, as you can see the cross bar itself has a nice aerodynamic shape to it and that's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. Combined weight with the other bar is going to be 165 pounds, although you want to double check with your vehicle to make sure it can withstand that weight on the top. It's a very easy install, these simply just clamp around your factory raised side rails, tighten into place, and you put the end caps on.

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Honda Odyssey

Today on this 2008 Honda Odyssey with factory raised side rails we are going to be installing a Thule Crossroads roof rack. We already have our crossbar assemblies put together so we are ready to lay them on our factory raised side rails and begin our installation. Before we begin tightening the front assembly we need to check two things. We need to make sure that our crossbar is overhanging evenly. We also need to make sure that the crossbar is running perpendicular to our side rails. We set our Crossroad feet right up against a seam where our side rails meet one of their mounting points. We also need to check the Crossroad feet themselves. On the side of the foot is a triangle indicating that that should be at the center line of our vehicles factory raised side rails. Once we have ensured we have everything positioned where we need it we can go ahead and begin tightening it down. The endcaps of our Crossroad feet have an allen wrench built in. This wrench is used to tighten the steel band with the rubber coating around our factory raised side rails. Once we have our front crossbar assembly secured we can go ahead and mount the second. 1:04

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Honda Odyssey

Today on this 2008 Honda Odyssey with factory raised side rails we will be installing a Rhino Rack roof rack part number SXB3. We already have our crossbar assemblies put together so we are ready to go ahead and mount them to our vehicle. We will take our front crossbar assembly and lay it in place on top of our side rails. When positioning the front crossbar we need to make sure that our overhang is even on both the drivers side and passenger side. Once we have done that we need to ensure that our new crossbar is running perpendicular to our factory side rails. To do this we are going to position the clamps right up against the seam between our side rail and our side rail foot mount on both sides. Next we are ready to tighten the system down. We will use the included allen wrench and tighten down the bolts inside the crossbars. We will move back and forth between from passenger side to driver side to make sure we tighten down the system evenly.

Thule Crossroad Loadbar Installation - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2005 Honda Odyssey, we'll be test fitting the Thule Crossroad Roof Rack System using part numbers THLB50 and TH450. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing our front bar onto the front part of our side rails. We're going to use the seam at the front of our side rails to line up our foot pack. We'll place it in the same position on both sides, that way our feet are inline with each other. We'll bring our strap around our side rail and fit it back onto the foot of the carrier. We can then use the included tool to tighten the Allen bolt, which will tighten our strap around our bar. Once we have it tight, we can slide the tool back into the foot pack and repeat this process for the other side.

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2003 Honda Odyssey

Today we are looking at a 2003 Honda Odyssey. We are going to take a look at the Thule Crossroads roof rack part number TH450 and THLB450. Lets go ahead and show you what it looks like on the vehicle. We want to center our foot pack on the roof rails and our load bar we want to be equal the ends that stick out for each side. Using the allen wrench provided with the foot pack we will hold the bottom strap of the foot pack in and go ahead and tighten it down. Once we have it tightened down we can go ahead and put the cap on our foot pack. There is the passenger side I am going to go ahead and repeat the same process on the driver side. Okay now that we have our front bar mounted and secured we can go ahead and install our rear bar. :50
