Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon we're doing a test fit of the RockyMounts JetLine roof-mounted bike rack. That part number is RKY1320. Now we already have our bike secured down to our rack. We're going to first show you our hatch clearance back here. Opening up our cargo door, you'll see that we're going to have plenty of room in between our bike rack and our door, so we're not going to have to worry about that making contact. Even if we had a longer bike or we had that bike rack moved back a little further, we won't have to worry about any contact. As for how our bike is secured down, here at the back we have a cam buckle strap.



Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Circuit XT roof mounted bike rack. That part number is TH526XT. Now, we already have our bike secured down. We're first gonnashow you one of the key features of this rack. We're gonna open up our hatch back here. You'll see with our door completely open, we're not gonna have any contact with our bike rack even if it was moved back just a little bit or we had a longer bike on there, a larger bike, we wouldn't have any contact.

Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail roof top bike rack. That part number is RBC035. Now we already have out bike secured down, we're first going to show you one great feature about this rack. We're going to open up our back hatch here and you'll see we'll have plenty of clearance that we don't have to worry about that making contact, which means we can still gain access into our back hatch area. Now because this is a fixed mount cross bar, where we secure it to our vehicle, even if we had it set on the back mount and we had a little bit of a bigger bike, we shouldn't have to worry about that making contact at all. Now we'll take a look at how our bike is secured down, starting off in the back. We have a Cam buckle strap that's quick and easy to remove, and the great thing about this Cam buckle strap, is that we can move it up and down the length of our bike rack to accommodate different bikes. In the front, we have a locking skewer.

I'm going to get that completely loose, and then I'm going to lift up on pin. It takes a little bit of effort to push it out.

Today in our 2016 GMC Yukon we're doing a test fit of the Thule Apex hanging style five bike rack. That part number is TH9026. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we do that. We have two cradles in place with three straps, two on our frame and one is our anti sway strap in the back. We're going to pull down and lift up to release those and we'll take our bike off, making sure that those other cradles are out of the way.

Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're doing a test fit on the Swagman Dispatch hanging platform-style two-bike rack. That part number's S64684. We already have our bikes secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that. The front and back tire, we have cam buckle straps. Those are going to be quick and easy to remove. In the center, we have a frame hook which sits right in the center of our frame, and it's going to hold our bike into place. We'll just push on that button to release it.

Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're doing a test fit of the Kuat Beta Hanging Style 2-Bike Rack. That part number is B202-2. Now we already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that. We have two cradles in place with three straps. Two on our frame here, and one is our anti-sway strap in the back. We're just going to push on our lever, pull this through, and that allows us to release our bike and set it off to the side. Now we'll take a few measurements here. First is going to be overall what we're adding to our vehicle.

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the Thule Apex Swing 4 Bike Carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number TH9027. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Line up our pin hole and allow our attached pin to fall into place. We'll move to the rear of the shank and tighten the hand knob to secure our bike rack to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device. Now, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 22 inches of ground clearance.



Thule Apex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the Thule Apex 4 Bike Carrier for 1-1/2 inch and 2-inch hitches, part number TH9025. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Line up the pin hole and allow our attached pin to fall into place. We'll tighten the hand knob here at the rear of the shank to secure our bike racks to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device Now, we'll go ahead and go over some clearance measurements. We have about 23 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of the vehicle is here with the hand knob about 1-1/2 away.



Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon well be test fitting the Yakima Frontloader wheel-mounted bike carrier, part number y02103. To begin our test fit well place our carrier directly onto our crossbars. Well fit the front clamp around our front bar and use the t-knob here at the front of the carrier to tighten it into position. Well bring our rear clamp around our rear bar, feed the t-bolt through the appropriate slot, and tighten it down. Now we can go ahead and open our wheel cradle at the front and undo our rear wheel strap. Well grab our bike, place it onto the carrier, bring our wheel cradle up to secure our front wheel, and use the red hand knob to tighten it in place.



Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the Yakima ForkLift roof-mounted bike carrier, part number Y02098. To begin our test fit, we'll place our carrier onto our crossbars. We'll fit our front clamp around our front crossbar. We'll feed our T bolt through the slot, and then use the hand knob at the top to tighten it down. Now we'll move to the rear, fit our rear bracket around our rear bar, place the T bolt through the appropriate slot, and then tighten down the T bolt. With the front and the rear of our carrier secured, we're now ready to load our bike.



Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the Thule Domestique fork-mount bike carrier, part number TH513. For an easier installation, I already loosened up the back bracket, removed the skewer at the front, and loosened up the bolts. To begin our test fit, we'll place our carrier directly on top of our crossbars. We'll go ahead and make sure that our rear clamp is around our rear bar, and that our front clamp is around our front bar. Here at the front, we'll feed the bolts through the appropriate slots and tighten with an Allen wrench. Then we'll move to the rear, feed the bolts through the appropriate slots in the clamp, and tighten it down with an Allen wrench.



Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the Swagman fork-style roof-mounted bike carrier, part number S64710. To begin our test fit, we'll place the carrier directly onto our crossbars. Here at the front we'll take our two U bolts, place them around the underside of our crossbar, and feed them up through our platform. Then we'll secure them in place by tightening down the wing nuts. We'll do this for both sides of the front platform. Now we'll move to the rear and drop the U bolt through the top of the carrier around our crossbar and through our black bracket, and then we'll tighten the wing nuts from underneath.
