Between the videos and the instructions it was very easy to follow. If you’re like me and don’t want to cut your fender liners I simply removed the front bed bolts and jacked one side up to slide in the mounting rails. The only fender I had to cut was the drivers side to allow for the latch pin lever. I really like just how “flush” the hitch really is once you turn over the ball. Overall very impressed with the hitch so far and have already recommended the hitch to other family members and friends.
This hitch is great and I installed it with no problems. This is the hitch to buy if you want quality and strength. The removable ball stores away and is right where you need it.

Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Installed easily on 2015 GMC 2500 HD double cab short bed. Plenty of clearance under the bed when ball is flipped. This system makes for a clean useable bed. When I was purchasing this I was concerned about clearance of a gooseneck hitch and my transfer tank. I have a 40 gal tank that sits back from the cab a bit over 20 inches, there’s plenty of clearance for a gooseneck with a fuel tank on this short bed. The hitch has held up perfectly over the last year. I haul around 12k on steep, washboard, gravel roads.
I think this gooseneck hitch is the best for newer Sierra/Silverado HD trucks. I installed it a week ago with the help of my father-in-law and his car lift. Took about 4 hours moving slowly and taking our time. Everything fit well and bolted right up. I also reinstalled the foil heat shield after removing one mounting ear. I did not drop the exhaust or the plastic heat shield and still got everything in. I chose this specific kit because it did not require notching the bed seam when installing the rails. It also has a higher tongue load rating than the others and was cheaper. The only major criticism I have is the pull wire and carriage bolts. My chassis has weld nuts and I would have preferred to use those over carriage bolts pulled into the chassis. I am thankful there were access holes almost inline with the mounting holes. That made it easy to put pressure on the bolt heads so they didn’t fall back. I also think the gasket around the big hole should be one piece to make it look cleaner. I used black silicone rtv to smooth the transition and adhere the gasket in place. Overall I am completely satisfied with the kit and the help of Shawn B who got my order in, had it shipped that same day and followed up with me after delivery. Thanks etrailer and Shawn B.

Shipping was super fast and the Product was exactly what I was looking for. Fits flush with the bead and out of the way for anything you decide to haul. And the ball is stored in place without having to keep it somewhere else. Only issue I had was with Chevrolet. They had one of the nuts welded in crooked and I had to do some adjusting on one of the holes. Everything else was perfect. Very well made and instructions are pretty decent. The ball does not fit my truck puck, despite being made for/compatible with it based on brand, year and model. etrailer provided # for B&W directly. Customer service at both companies has been excellent so far. Awaiting replacement ball from B&W which they shipped over night express. Hoping it fits. The product itself is very heavy and appears well made and easy to use.

Curt Custom Underbed OEM-Style Gooseneck Trailer Hitch - 32,500 lbs
The install was slightly more difficult on this curt hitch than the BW hitch, but this one was on sale at the time so I chose to give this one a try. Both styles give you a little workout but the hardware package is easier to work with on the BW hitch
I bought this Curt Gooseneck Hitch For my new 2020 Chevy HD Silverado Standard Bed Duramax. I did the install myself, in my garage and without the use of a lift. I spent about 8 hours to get it done. The parts are heavy, so take that into account if you’re wanting to do it yourself. Watching a Curt install video during the process was key to installing it successfully. Only thing I would suggest during the install, and for the driver’s side only, is to loosen the rearward gas tank strap, which allows a little more room for fishing the one inside frame retaining plate and bolt. Very happy with the quality of this hitch and of the price from etrailer.

Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Etrailer is awesome, not so much for this product. My first and primary issue is that the safety chain u-bolts are positioned to close to the angle iron brackets to allow clearance for them to freely move up and down with the nuts installed (see photos). I can force them up from below with a hammer and stomped them back down from above. This problem is made worse due to the proximity to the ball, if I dont ensure they arent stomped down as much as possible they would interfere with my coupler when turning. I'm honestly still worried about interference if I find myself in any off camber turn. The other problem I have isnt the fault of the hitch, but now that its installed it is still much more intrusive to the bed space when folded flat than I anticipated. In the past I've had under bed mount balls, this being a work truck I thought the cheaper option would work but I regret that decision.
Etrailer has always come through . Even if there is an issue they respond quickly and that means alot . The prices are the best .

Reese Under-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit
For the price of the product, packaging was terrible, product arrived with paint missing from several large areas due to shipping damage. Box was barely intact when it arrived. Also was missing one of the large grade 8 4.25” long bolts. So after a trip to the hardware store to replace the missing bolt and buy some paint to fix the damaged finish, got it installed pretty easy.
Excellent underbody hitch system. Installation went well once the body was off. If your installing on a late model ford you may want to be sure you have new bed bolts available. Ford says they are not reusable for some reason but it did not matter in my case. Even though I put PB rust blaster on 2 days in advance the cage nuts broke the cage and spun. Ended up having to grind the tops off to remove the body and then using some heat to custom bend a box end wrench to get into the box frame so I was able to remove the (now) studs. This was on a 4 year old truck but New England winters at work here i’m sure. Once the body was off installation was a breeze. Fit is perfect.

Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
2021 Sierra 2500 standard box. Item arrived pretty quick with all parts included and no damage. Instructions for the install are, in my opinion, not very detailed and left me having to figure several things out on my own. Biggest pain was having to drop the fuel tank a few inches to access the hole in the driver-side frame rail to fish wire the one bolt for the side plate. Unsure why this info was missing as I would imagine anyone installing this on the same truck would have the same issue of not having enough clearance for the fish wire procedure. The front and rear rails are 0.25” in length different and are not labeled - be prepared to measure and appropriately install in the correct position with the holes closer to the bottom (this is poorly referenced in the instructions and leaves additional room for error and time). The install took me about 7 hours (no help). Finished product is nice and sturdy. The ball ends up being about 4-5” forward the rear axle. I tried to find this info prior to purchasing, but could not. I use an extang hard tri-fold tonneau cover that does not flip fully up toward the cab and was concerned I would have to remove each time I hooked up a gooseneck. It appears that I will have to remove for most applications due to clearance issues, so less than ideal. Operates as intended and should bring many years of trouble free service.
Have not attempted install yet but looks well made and straight fowrard instructions

Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
I like the hitch but when ai am pulling my trailers, and I am moving them around at low speeds it seems that there is a good amount of movement in the hitch and the feel in the truck. I’m not sure what that is but I have used trucks that didn’t have that feel in them but mine definitely does. We followed all directions and torqued all bolts to the required amount. Maybe someone can shed some light on what that maybe. Thanks
The kit arrived in two days. The quality is very good. All the parts fit as described. We were able to install it in a few hours without a lift. We plan on pulling a 14,000 # trailer to move farm equipment. This trailer will replace an old 12,000# pintle hitch trailer. I would definitely recommend this kit to others.

ChevroletI bought this for my son, who moved back to the farm, and bought a good used 2002 Chevy duramax so we would have a second truck to pull cattle trailers and haul hay with a fifth wheel flat bed trailer. The B&W underbed turn over ball hitch mounted great and relatively easily. It has performed excellently. My son likes the turn over ball that allows for full use of the pickup box for other uses.

Today on our 2016 GMC Sierra 2500, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch with installation kit, part number C607-604. All right, here's what our gooseneck looks like installed underneath the vehicle. Now, what sets this gooseneck apart from other goosenecks on the market is the fact that our ball is here in place in the gooseneck with a double-pin mechanism. A lot of the other goosenecks on the market secure the ball with just a single pin. This gives it added strength and durability. Now I'm going to go ahead and retract our handle, and you can see how the ball is secured. On the driver's side of our vehicle, we'll find the handle that we can use to remove our ball. This is the handle that secures it in place.
B and W Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 GMC Sierra 2500
Today my 2016 GMC 2500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the BMW turnover ball under bed gooseneck trailer hitch with custom install kit, part number BWGNRK1016. Here's what it's going to look like once it's installed. Now we can pull the pin from the driver's side fender well and we'll pull the ball up, we can flip it over, drop it back down and stow it away. A nice feature about this is it's got these spring loaded safety chain hold downs. When they're not in use it'll be pretty flush to the floor. When you want to flip over your ball, you're going to pull out on this and pull it to the front, that locks it in the open position. Once you flip the ball over, pull out, push it to the back, release it and that locks the ball back into position. Now with the BMW side plate, it's going to use factory weld nuts to attach so there's going to be no drilling or having to fish any wires or nuts inside our frame.

It's going to have nice black powder coat finish. It's going to help resist any rust or corrosion. One thing that's nice about this hitch over some of the other ones, is it's a double locking pin. It's an under bed mount set up so we don't have to worry about having all the rails and the bars up here interfering with our bed. Flush mount design, as you can see, so a large hole cut out here in the bed allows that to pass up through nicely. The same goes for your safety chain connections here on both sides.
Gooseneck Hitch Installation - 2014 GMC Sierra
Today on our 2014 GMC Siera, we'll be installing the Blueox Diamond Hitch, under bed gooseneck for 30-thousand pounds, part number Dh1314. We'll go ahead and point out the operation of the ball. To insert the ball into the rise position, you'll line up the tab, put the slot on the ball. You'll then work the ball around, until it goes in and locks into place. To remove the ball, you'll push the tab right here, and pull the ball back out. When not using the ball, you can flip the ball over.
