I opened the two cartons two days ago and found that all the parts were included with no shipping damage. I highly recommend you get a fiend to help with the build and installation of the hitch. The build instructions and documentation are very well done and relatively easy to follow. Read and familiarize yourself with entire documentation before you start. Our built time, start to finish was approximately two hours. This hitch is the best design and easiest to use compared to other fifth wheel hitches. I highly recommend the B&W Companion hitch. Spend the money and get the best! I have included a couple of photos with the hitch installed in my 2017 Ford F350 4wd, long bed.

Highly disappointed with etrailer. I ordered a B&W fifth wheel hitch because they said in stock on 3/29 and I would have it by 4/8 Friday. It never shipped until 4/8 so I have to wait until the following weekend to get my new camper. Now it's 4/13 and the shipping company calls to make an appointment for delivery because now it's scheduled for delivery today. They ask if I have anyway to get it off the truck. I said no, well we're gonna have to scheduled a lift gate so one won't be in your area until Monday 4/18. Just great another weekend I can't get my camper. I can't wait to see the debacle come Monday if they say they won't back in my driveway. Never again etrailer. I have to ordered a second hitch and I know it won't be here. As far as the B&W I can't review it yet.
I waited all most a month and never received my package. Then had to keep calling Etrailer to see where it was. Then Jessie said he couldn’t refund my money until the freight company said it would be changed and sent back to them. They chose the freight company a month ago, that’s not my problem, but at this point, a month is almost here, they have my money, I do t have a shop date or my package. What a joke! This has been a terrible experience and etrailer has not made this any easier! Can’t add a photo, nothing to take a picture of…..

Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package- Single Jaw - 27,000 lbs
We are so very pleased with our 27K hitch! The order process was easy and delivery was very fast. We have used a Reese hitch for years now. We just upgraded our fifth wheel RV and it wieghs in at 16K our old hitch was an 18K hitch so we were within 2K of max weight. We felt that that was too close so we went big, it feels (pulls) better and I feel more safe knowing that we have plenty of hitch. Thank you for such great products. Jason and Patricia
Hitch assembly was fairly straightforward, took less than an hour. Did have to purchase a torque wrench since the one I had only went to 150 ft lbs. Figured I'd purchase it so I could keep it in the truck to make any adjustments, if required, and check that bolts remain torqued to xxx ft lbs over time. Had to make two small adjustments when I put it in the puck system, which was easy to do. The red/green indicator had popped out of the head unit. I figured out that it just needed to be popped back in to position. Haven't towed with it yet so I can't comment on that at this time. Hitch is beefy and I doubt will not be a problem handling our 5th wheel. So far I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Fast shipping, excellent quality of workmanship. Very slight chucking with our 2019 fifth wheel toy hauler. The green indicator for lockup works flawlessly and will let you know by staying partial red if not fully engaged.

Hitch works great, only pet peeve was the little spring clip that holds it from flopping forward took longer to get on than assembling the rest of the hitch. Still a 5 star excellent product!

It needs a much better description of what all comes with the hitch and more clear about when you would need to use a locking plate with the hitch itself

B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs
Has been a very good hitch..sturdy and well designed. I like the two piece idea (where you can take off the top section separate from the bottom frame) it's easy and it allows lifting less wt. in two parts. It has 4 adjustments for height but in my case I needed to go lower so I had to reset my 5th wheel bracket as to level out the vehicle to the fifth wheel. add; 1999 Ford f-350 4x4 sits up high ...not like today's (almost a car) pickups that sit lower.
product still works fine. Built strong and etrailer has been a go to place for truck and RV parts
Brad V. - 04/06/2020I love the hitch. If you want quality product with a great powder coat application, this is it. I was worried about not having enough turning space, but it has been fine. 2019 F350 6-3/4" bed. Everyone said I had to have a slider. This works ok for me, pulling a new Cedar Creek 34IK. Very happy with it. Again sorry no pic, but can get you one if need be. Just at work now.

I haven't used the products yet, but the B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch came on a pallet and was not damaged at all. It's in the truck and ready to go. Looks great!
I still really like this 5th wheel. It is very nice to be able to make much sharper turns with a short bed pickup. It is also much more stable than the previous hitch. I think that is due to torqueing the hitch down to the pin, although doing so makes it more of a pain to install and remove. Lastly, get an overhead hoist and a $12 movers dolly. The combination makes installation, removal, and moving around a one man job.
Brett - 03/22/2021Awesome hitch. Heavy, but I install it alone with my cherry picker. I have a roll n lock bed cover and it closes over the base with the 5th wheel removed. Easy to slide for tight spots with my short bed F350.

Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs
Had a Pullrite Superglide in my old F350 standard bed but when I upgraded to the 8ft bed of the dually, I went with this hitch. Hitch came in 2 boxes and although the boxes worked banged up a bit, everything was there and fine. It only took about 30 minutes to bolt everything together and install on the rails that were already in the truck. I actually had to take the hitch apart once to adjust the hitch up a little. I wanted it as high as possible in the bed, while still clearing the Roll N Lock retractable bed cover. Looks good, seems solid and well made. Hitch head comes off to make it easier to remove this hitch, but even with the head connected, I am able to move the hitch in the truck (would need to take head off for me to lift the hitch out of the truck). Also installed a BedRug at the same time to clean up the bed.
It’s held up great. No slack in the kingpin jaws or anywhere else. All the products bought work just the way they were advertised.
I’ve pulled my fifth wheel a little over 10,000 miles and still works great. No problems with any of it.

Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs
My experience would have easily been rated 2 stars, but the responsiveness of etrailer support, quick resolution, and the consideration that you can't hurt a hitch made from 1/4" steel, all culminated in a satisfied customer. The hitch head and feet were shipped in the factory boxes. These are not structurally capable of handling the abuse of UPS/Fedex. The result was a gaping hole in the side of the hitch head box, causing all the mounting bolts to be lost. The box containing the feet had torn through the packing tape, but it fared much better. I contacted etrailer regarding the missing bolts. Without any hassle, replacement bolts were shipped out right away. The hitch itself is solid, and the video review is very comprehensive of the hitch operation and features. I look forward to testing it out in the next few weeks! Accidents will happen in shipping, it is the responsiveness of etrailer that has made me a return customer.
I mounted the legs onto hitch and noticed it was all scratch up out of the box. Maybe better packaging would help. Someone else complained about this on review. Easy assembly so far. Not completely mounted in truck yet.
