Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 2-3/4" Rise, 4" Drop - 9" Long - 7.5K
Working in the sand and grass of my driveway my wife and I installed our new etrailer receiver hitch. Great fit and finish! Went right on as described in the online guide. Hitch required a spacer washer on top back bolt attachment point. Taped it on so it would not move while lifting in place and it stayed right there! Used a car jack to raise up and hold the hitch into the underside of the trunk tighten the bolts and reattached the tail pipe done. Now we can pull our Sunfish Sailboat any where the car will go.
I am very pleased with the hitch, ball mount, and electrical package. All were easy to install if you follow the easy to understand directions. An added plus for putting one of these on a MINI is that the hitch can be hidden behind the "black plate/cover" that is on the rear bumper. It looks just like it came out of the factory except when to need to install the ball mount. The service has been outstanding. This is the place to go.

Strong and seems to be well made and well finished. One-inch ball mounting hole. I used this for a Curt hitch mounted on a 2014 Forester and pulls a small Harbor Freight trailer. Perfect height and trailer is level. Warning - don't get their hitch pin, it does not have a hole for a cotter pin, only a weak clip that I would not trust.

Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches
Picked up my teardrop in ABQ on 2/17/23, and the Curt ball mount lined up perfectly with no drop/rise, and the extra length gave clearance for my rear door mounted spare tire. This mount is a beast, and the "overbuilt" nature of it gave me confidence that my Bronco would tow the teardrop easily. I also got the Curt Echo wireless brake controller, which synced easily to my phone and was easy to install, set up, and use. Overall a great towing experience, thanks to etrailer and Curt!

I have two of these. My first I bought two years ago. I very highly recommend this Curt Class III Ballmount 2" Drop because of its price, durability and quality. I towed various class 3 loads with ease and confidence with this ballmount. It slides into the hitch and does its job without fail. It looks excellent after towing a load. etrailer's price is about as good as it gets and delivery is very speedy.

Flash Secure Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w Chrome Balls - 2" Hitch - 6" Drop, 7" Rise
Very strong, easy to install and very secure. Yes a bit pricey, but well worth the money. I did notice there was what I thought was an unusual amount of play in the receiver. I called etrailer and Marcia was so very helpful and very concerned that I may have received the wrong product. She even called the manufacturer and found out what the changes that were made by the manufacturer which made the pictures incorrect. My hat is off to Marcia and all the folks at etrailer
ball mount fits loosely in the receiver so that the pins that extend out from the ball mount shaft through the holes in the receiver don't extend out far enough, for my liking. This is because since the ball mount shaft has so much play, it will shift to one side. Then, the pin on the other side does not extend all the way out of the hole so that it is not flush. True, i am being paranoid. However, i imagine a case like a crash where enough force could pull the shaft out from the not fully extended pin side to release the trailer to wreak more damage. I would just feel more secure if the pins went out further through the receiver or the shaft was not so loose. Otherwise, i really like the product a lot... enough to give it four stars... :o)

Works flawlessly. I was very excited the day I got home and my Rapid hitch was on the front porch. It came in nice box and was packaged very well. I opened it up and unpacked my rapid hitch and I was very impressed with the quality and precision of this hitch. All of the machining was PERFECT and everything fit together right. I put it in my truck right away. Going down the road with the trailer on and off there is absolutely no rattles, clunks, or jolts. I also love how everything is aluminum or stainless steel, NO RUST. I wish I could've gotten the greaseless model but my boat is too heavy. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with locking pins. With a hitch this expensive I really wish it came with them. Do yourself a favor and order them with your rapid hitch so you don't have to pay for shipping in the future. Other than that great product and I believe it will outlast me.

My usage of your hitch is a bit unusual, I think. I pull a two ton roller with my Ram and I've used your cushioned hitch to smooth out the process. The roller Lunette just dropped over a 2" ball and then banged and jerked on the ball neck. Check out the photos for my adaptation.. I can flip it over and use the 2" ball! Have enclosed some photos. I purchased the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 3" Drop, 3-1/2" Rise - 10K - Black and am extremely happy with it. It was $100 cheaper than anywhere else I shopped. Was delivered quickly and was an easy install. I used it to haul a trailer full of wood that I cut up and it got the job done! It is very heavy duty and takes the place of multiple single hitches. It’s nice to have all the options in one.
I like that it stows under the truck and i'm not banging my leg and getting grease on myself. The only draw back was i wanted to use my anti slap bracket and it would not fit due to the insert butts up to the hitch receiver. I'm not experiencing any slapping when taking off or stopping at this time.I use this for my boat and a utility trailer and i don't have to change hitch insert which is really nice, one less thing to do.

Bought to pull my boat with my Yukon and needed a drop hitch to level out the trailer. I wanted to buy a quality hitch, and let me tell you the B&W does not disappoint. Well engineered. It’s it heavy but when installed it is pretty easy to adjust height and ball size. Also supporting an American company is a plus!
Great hitch. I bought the 3 ball with 8" drop hitch. My utility trailer needs it almost all the way down. My boat trailer needs it almost all the way up on my Chevy 2500HD. The only time I have removed it was to install a Pintle hitch one day to haul a trailer for a tractor. Tip: Use silicone spray on the adjustable pins. Use of lithium grease fouls them up so it's difficult to remove and reinstall them (collects dirt, dust). Also lubricate your hitch lock monthly, or you won't be able to open it if you ever want to remove the hitch.

Hidden Hitch Ball Mount - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 15-3/4" Long - 6,000 lbs
This was the longest hitch ball mount I could find anywhere. I used it with a short extension for my 2021 T G so that I could open the back doors without hitting the trailer wheel crank. With my new trailer, Intact Flyer Discover, I don't need the extension and can still open the doors. Works well.
I pull a 20 ft. Travel trailer and had jackknifed backing up twice. The truck taillight creased the trailer. So I bought the extra long drawbar and have not had any problems since. Now I can also open the tailgate without hitting the tounge Jack.

Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount with 2-5/16" Ball - 2" Drop - 15,000 lbs
I tried twice to get this hitch and ball from [online vendor]. Twice the shipment was lost and I had to get a refund. Shipment from etrailer is right the first time and arrived quickly. Plus, since the ball is already torqued on the ball mount, I don't need to by a large socket.
We’ve already installed it and hitched up the horse trailer. Works great for my needs. Half the weight of the much heavier weight distribution system we had been using (and will continue to use for Interstate travel). Hook up was fast and easy.

Good, very solid ball mount with just the extra rise I needed, 2 3/4", to get level trailer and good clearance for the trailer jack. But excessive shipping charges from etrailer, $[XX] for an $[XX] purchase. Found out to my cost later that [online vendor] would have shipped for free.
As a full-time RVer, e-shopping is very important for us. etrailer was the right place to shop. Right product, delivered on-time for a great price. You beat the local discount RV store by $25 including shipping. At the same time, I had another outfit send me a clearly inferior product to the one they displayed. Said they would e-mail a pre-paid shipping label for the return (didn't) and tried to put the blame on Amazon. Thanks etrailer for a great experience !

Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise - 4" Drop - 17,000 lbs
I just opened up my new Class 5 Curt XD hitch and have not yet installed it so my comments are based on first impressions only. It is very heavy duty - and heavy at 40 lbs. - made of extremely thick metal and outfitted with quality Grade 8 bolts with square necks so they won’t turn when torquing on the nuts to attach the main tube to the side mounting plates. My bolts are plated yellow (which I like) rather than silver as you may have seen in some online photographs. It is substantially beefier than my existing Grade 4 hitch and superior in every way. It’s an impressive piece of hardware. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed with it on specifications, quality, strength, and general appearance. It’s a beast. What I AM disappointed in is Curt’s packaging and the condition in which the hitch arrived. (This is NOT a reflection on etrailer.com as the hitch arrived in Curt’s original packaging.) The unassembled main tube and the two side mounting plates come bundled together with nothing separating them but shrink wrap. No cardboard, plastic, even paper coming between the metal surfaces - just shrinkwrap probably not even a couple of mils thick. With basically metal-to-metal contact in an oversized-box with the bundle jostling around, it would be a miracle if there were no scratches, gouges, or some type of damage to at least one piece, which is exactly what happened to my hitch. The main hitch tube, on the exterior facing plane, on the driver side where I’ll see it every day, has some gouges on it that go through the powder-coating to bare metal. I can - and will - paint them to prevent rust (and, therefore, have to paint the whole hitch to match). But the gouges will still be noticeable as they go through the thicker, pebbly, powder-coat finish and will undoubtedly still appear as depressions in the surface even once painted. I fully realize this kind of surface damage will almost certainly happen with regular usage of the hitch anyway and that it’s certifiable to demand absolute perfection in anything. But if you are someone who cares about the aesthetics of your equipment and keeping it looking new for as long as possible, it is very disappointing to receive such an expensive and prominent piece of hardware damaged right out of the box and requiring immediate repainting. The plastic parts bag had also ripped open in transit, with nuts, bolts, shims, etc. rattling around in the box. I am dumbfounded that Curt packages such a high-quality piece of equipment so shoddily where such damage is virtually unavoidable. I bought from Curt solely due to their being an American manufacturer and to support American workers so this is doubly discouraging. It’s a trivial complaint in the big scheme of things and not worth demanding a replacement over. Just be aware that unless Curt changes their packaging practices it is very possible you will have the wind taken out of your towing project sails just as I have. Again, this in no way reflects on etrailer. My experience to date with etrailer (website, educational resources, staff reviews, ordering, tracking, email contact, etc.) has been beyond exemplary in every way. They rank as a Top Five online retailer in my opinion, maybe even the best.
First of all, the products you find at etrailer are not your garden variety, home depot kind of fair. Much higher quality and grade/weight ratings. So to be able to get hard to find items and then by orderring at least 100$ worth of stuff also get it delivered free in 4 days, is awesome. The prices are incredible too.

Today on this 2012 Ford F-150 we're going to be test-fitting the B & W Tow & Stow, 3-ball ball mount for 2" hitches with a 7" drop and a 7-1/2" rise, rated for 10,000 pounds, part number BWTS10049B. We already have this installed on our vehicle, and the first thing I'd like to point out is this pin and clip that we have attached to the 2" hitch with, does not come with the ball mount. You can find it on our website though, it's part number PC3. Obviously, one of the advantages to this product is the fact that we can use three different ball mounts to accommodate different loads and different trailers that you may have. To do this, you can switch it out by pulling the pin and clip here. Right now we have it in the 2" ball position. Pull the pin and clip, you simply rotate it, and at this point we'll be at the 1-7/8" ball.

Today on our 2012 Ford F150, we're going to be test-fitting the Convert A Ball Cushion Ball Mount, part number AMSC10; but before we can test-fit our ball mount, first we want to measure the hitch hike of our truck. To measure the hitch hike, we'll measure from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. Our hitch hike measures 18-1/2 inches. To test our ball mount, first we're going to mount it in the drop position. We'll insert the shank of the ball-mount into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll add the hitch pin holes and secure the ball mount with a pin and clip.

Today on our 2010 Ford F-150, we'll be test fitting the Curt Tri Ball mount hollow two inch shank in black, part number C45001. To begin our test fit, we'll first need to get our hitch height. To begin our test fit we'll first need to get our hitch height. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. Now we'll take our ball mount and install it in the drop position first, secure it by installing our pin and clip. We have a measurement from the ground to the top of our ball platform of 15-1/4 inches. Make sure that when you measure your trailer height you do so when your trailer is level. You want to measure from the ground to the bottom of your coupler, and if your measurement matches our's then this would be a good fit for you. We'll flip our ball mount over to the rise position, install independent clip, and we now have a measurement from the ground to the top of the ball platform of 17-3/4 inches. Once again if this measurement measures your trailer height measurement, then this would be a good fit for you. Today on our 2010 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Draw-Tite ball mount with a 3/4-inch rise or a 2-inch drop rated at 7,500 pounds, part number 2923. To begin our test fit we'll first need to get our hitch height. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. We have a hitch height measurement of 17-1/2 inches. Please keep in mind that this measurement may vary due to the hitch style, tire size or after market accessories. We'll go ahead and grab our ball mount and slide the shank of the ball mount in the drop position into the opening of the hitch securing it with the pin and clip. Now we'll measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and get a measurement of about 15 inches. Make sure when measuring your trailer height you do so when your trailer is level. You want to measure from the ground to the bottom of your coupler. If your measurement matches our's, then this would be a good fit for you. We'll now flip the ball mount over into the rise position. We'll measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and get a measurement of 18 inches. Once again, if your measurement matches our's, then this would be a good fit for you.
