24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.
Purchased in March 2023. I really like the size, it holds a lot. The carrier is very sturdy, well made and assembled very easily. I purchased the light kit but found wiring could have been a little longer to dress the cables neatly down toward the hitch.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
We just installed our carrier. We love that this is going to free up a lot of space for our vacation traveling. Very heavy duty and bigger than i was thinking it would be.The pin that holds the carrier in the hitch was not included. It would have been an added bonus if it was.
Easy to assemble, nice and solid cargo tray! Bought it with the hitch bracket. Note: no hitch pin included.

GearSpace 34 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitch - Slide Out - 34 cu ft - 300 lbs - Dark Gray
We looked all over for a hardshell storage pod, one that would fit 300 pounds of embroidery hardware. This one from Gearspace fit the bill. Super easy checkout with etrailer.com, and they were the only ones to offer free shipping, and since this is a larger, heavier item, that means LTL Freight. Not [online vendor] and not the Mfg. The GearSpace 34 arrived earlier than promised, and it was an easy unload if you have room for a sixty foot tractor trailer. 190 lbs on a pallet, but it will load right into the back of a pickup real easy. Took about 30 minutes to install, and it went like a breeze. Light test, check... signals, check. Ready to roll on our next RV trip, with lots more room for goodies along the way. This item gets an A+, it works as advertised, and etrailer.com was GREAT. They communicate often and update on order status. even sent out an email to get customer feedback and review, along with some pictures. I'm sure after this stellar review they will send me a nice etrailer hat & Koozie Pictures show the Gearspace 34 loaded with about 200 lbs right now. It never moved an inch and is solid on the mounting hitch hardware. You will not be disappointed with this product, it's top of the line for RV rear storage.
The gear space was delivered assembled; it took m15 minutes to attach mount into receiver and secure. My wife and I were able to lift onto mount with no problems. Looks great on the back of our Renegafe Vienna. An excellent solution to additional storage for full time Rv.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
I've been using this Cargo Carrier on my 4 Runner Venture for about a year now. I Purchased this item to haul extra gear to Nags Head from Northwestern Virginia. Installation was a breeze and it's very, very sturdy. I had two Yeti coolers packed with ice and drinks and there was no wobbling at all. I'm a 197 pounds and I was standing on it after I installed it just to check for durability and this thing is a beast. I also used this as a rod holder while on the beach and I caught a 6 foot black tip shark. Overall, I'm very pleased with this item and I would recommend to a friend.
This is a substantial, well-made product at exactly the size I needed - smaller than many, and with sides that keep items secure. It was very easy to assemble, with all parts included and clearly sorted, and with all pieces manufactured to cleanly align. The item arrived promptly, packed to protect the shipment but without waste. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a high-quality cargo carrier.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
This carrier was super easy to assemble. It is a bit heavy but I was able to mount it onto my hitch alone. I’m using an anti-rattle lock and they work great together.
Installation: Easy Assembly: Easy Attached to: Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" Item # C13163 Use: Camping equipment. Cooler, Chairs, Sleeping bags, firewood, etc. Like: The fact that it folds is a huge positive. What I would change: perhaps adding a ring or two on the sides to allow for bungee cords or rope. Because the hitch is already a bit low on the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander (stock wheels, tires, suspension) the back part of the basket can bottom out rather easily. It has nothing to do with the carrier itself though. I would definitely recommend this product! I'm going to use it again in a month for our next camping trip.

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Carrier and box will be moved to hitch on 209 Solitude Rv to provide extra cargo carrying ability
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
Purchased this 1 year ago. Worked awesome for a 9.000 mile cross country trip with three off road adventures at geology tour road Joshua tree, west side road Death Valley, and kingman wash lake mead. No rattle, always secure, great clearance. Would purchase again.
It works, but I only put two electric bikes on it. The mesh seems to bend pretty easy.

32x48 Reese Steel Solo Cargo Carrier and Folding Ramp for 2" Hitches - 400 lbs
Very fast shipping, I like that.now about this rack, very well built and easy to put together.ramp is ok but not good enough for me,to steep, took to a welder shop and had another 2ft added, now it's 6ft long and folds up the same way,now it works great.this rack sits about 4ft from the truck so I'm putting lights on this and new stickers, the ones that are on suck, they fell off.now the receiver of the rack, can be turned to make the rack lower but to me it's to low and will drag in dips so I have it up high, its about 2ft now and can't drag that why I added to the ramp, make it work for you.now this rack does wobble some so buy a hitch stabilizer for 20 bucks that stops that problem. This is still better than dragging around a trailer and still I can park in a parking lot so it works for me
cargo carriers work great! we use them for hauling mowers for our landscaping business so they get daily abuse and hold up very well

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Super disappointed in this etrailer purchase. The product came in a large box that was fully intact and not damaged. The actual cargo basket was meticulously wrapped and appeared to be brand new as expected. The other components however, like the arm, were in boxes that were smashed, old, worn, and had multiple layers of old tape. The arm itself was scratched and banged up, even rusty in spots. Clearly it was used or had been a returned item. If I wanted a dented, gouged, and rusty Cargo Carrier I would have purchased one used, for half the price. This is not the quality I expect from etrailer.. I have purchased many racks and other items from this company and usually the quality is outstanding. This time they dropped the ball. I have since read other reviews and it is apparent that this is not an isolated incident. I'd have sent it back if it wasn't so damn heavy and awkward to lug around.
This carrier worked out great. The tilt down feature is helpful to have but I didn't really need it. However, the fold up feature was helpful when driving around, so I recommend that as a convenience. The only thing I had trouble with was the hitch bolt. I have a Thule bike rack that I've used with my truck hitch receiver and never had a problem, but this rack's hitch bolt was a real pain to get in at first. Don't be dismayed. With the rack off of the vehicle, I used some WD-40 and some lithium grease on the bolt and then used an adjustable wrench to screw it in and out a number of times. I noticed a bunch of either paint or metal shards gumming up the threads on the bolt each time I removed it. After about 5 times of screwing it in and out, wiping off the bolt with a towel, adding some more grease once in a while, it got to the point that I could screw it in and out by hand pretty easily. Problem solved. I'm really happy with this rack. It fit two big coolers of food and beer plus beach umbrellas and other stuff. It's really strong and sturdy. The biggest issue was not the weight on the rack, but whether the rear suspension on the Highlander could hold it with our other junk in the back plus passengers. :-)
Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline right here at etrailer. And today, we have the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier that's 60 inches by 22 inches, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. So right off the bat, if you need a lot of cargo space, but you don't wanna have to deal with a lot of weight, this is gonna be a great cargo carrier for that. This is gonna be one of our larger aluminum cargo carriers, so with you having all that space, because it's made of aluminum, it's also lighter and easier to install. But depending on how you install it though, it might be a little tricky, because the Dodge Grand Caravan has a bumper that sticks out over here, so you're gonna have to like reach around the carrier to get into place and make sure that all that is tightened down. So that is something to be mindful of.
etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan
Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan and we got a cool little product for you. It's going to be the etrailer Folding Cargo Carrier. So as you can see it is going to be able to fit in a smaller space compared to other cargo carriers and that's going to be the main feature of this one here, whether it's just taking up less space in your garage or just having that option of adding a bunch of cargo storage to your van here just because it can fit a lot of different passengers and they probably got a bunch of gear whenever you're going to either sporting events or just a vacation. It's going to work with a two inch hitch receiver like so, slide it in just like that and it will come with an anti-rattle bolt. Not a lot of these cargo carriers come with them, but we included it with the kit. We do want to get it nice and lined up.
Reese 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan
Adam: Hi everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Reese hitch mounted cargo carrier on our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. So just to let you guys know this is not going to be a cargo carrier that will allow you to tilt up towards your vehicle or tilt away. So be mindful of that. If that makes your decision then definitely go and grab one that will. So this one will be about 60 inches by 24 inches, so pretty standard size, it's going to be made of steel, gets you about 500 pounds of carrying capacity.
etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan
Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the eTrailer off road cargo carrier on our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. Some of you guys may be thinking this isn't an off-road vehicle, but the reason why I'm putting this on this car in particular is as you can see we have an 11-inch rise in our shank. A lot of the times when you have those flat cargo carriers, even if they only have about a two-inch rise in your shank, you're going to be bottoming out in almost any situation. In my opinion, this is going to be a great addition to your van, that you don't have to worry about it bottoming out and damaging your carrier, or even bending it or breaking your hitch receiver.
Curt 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan
Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt hitch mounted cargo carrier on our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. So this is going to be a hitch-mounted cargo carrier that'll fit two inch hitch receivers. It will have a two inch rise, so it's going to help a little bit with that grounding out that you may get on a lower standing vehicle. This is going to be about 60 inches by about 24 inches, and it is going to sit up relatively taller at about five and three quarter inches. It's going to have plenty of different spots to be able to get your straps around to tie down your cargo nice and securely.
Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan
Hi everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the CURT Cargo Carrier with ramp, on our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. So this is going to be a pretty, pretty good choice for any of those heavier wheeled items that you need to get from point A to point B.Whether it be, let's say a couple mowers or even a powered wheelchair, whatever it is, you're going to be able to load this onto the carrier with this ramp. It is an aluminium design, so it's extremely, extremely light. So all you've got to really do to get this ramp out is just pull this little pin here. It's going to release, and you're going to be able to fold this to the side and then ramp anything up that you possibly would need. This ramp does stick out about 48 inches from our cargo carrier here.

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan
Today on this 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow 30x50 Wheelchair Carrier with a 48" Long Ramp for 2" Hitches, part number MT70106. We already have our carrier installed onto our vehicle, and this does have a 500-pound carrying capacity, and it has mesh flooring both here as well as the ramp, which is going to make it easy to clean. Also, we have these points on the front, back, and side, and that's going to serve as a tie down point for either your ratchet straps or bungee cords when you're putting your wheelchair, or your lawnmower, whatever it is you're hauling. Once you're ready to either unload or load up your wheelchair, you have to lower the ramp first. To do that, you have these pins right here that are holding the braces up to keep it in this position. To take them out, you just remove the pin first, then our clip here, like so. We're actually going to lift it up to this point here, and secure it up here so it doesn't just fly around, and reinsert our clip. We'll do the same on the other side as well.

It has this mesh flooring here, as well as the ramp, and that's going to make it easier to clean. We also have tie-down points all around the cargo carrier for your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. We also have reflectors on the end as well. Let's go ahead and show you how it unfolds.
Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan

We have this nice mesh floor here which is going to make it easier to clean. At the front and around the sides, we have these points here which are going to serve as tie-down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. The exhaust is going to be on the passenger side of the vehicle and it does face down away from the cargo carrier, and thanks to its raised shank, which is going to improve clearance issues between the cargo carrier itself and the ground, you're not going to have to worry about heat sensitive material once you're loading that up. With it in this position right now, we do have full access to our rear hatch to get anything we need. However, I am going to go ahead and give you a break over point measurement and that's going to be the point where your hatch would come into contact with whatever it is you're hauling.

We do have a tail pipe here on the passenger side, however, it is pointed down, away from the cargo carrier, and thanks to the height of the cargo carrier, you're not going to have to worry about any heat-sensitive materials once you're loading things up. If you do plan on carrying any heat-sensitive materials, I would do so towards the middle or even towards the driver's side there. Let's check our hatch clearance here. As you can see, we are not going to make any contact at all, with any point of our carrier. We check our break over point, though. We're going to break over pretty early and pretty low.
