So this cargo basket is going to be ideal for putting all your cargo up on the roof. As you can see, we already have two kids in the back, and there's not a lot of trunk space. Adam: Hi everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima OffGrid roof cargo basket on our 2019 Chevrolet Suburban. So, we do have the smaller cargo basket up top, but Yakima does make another OffGrid roof basket that is going to be 62 inches long, but all the same measurements everywhere else. So, this OffGrid is going to be 44 inches long by 40 inches wide and seven inches tall.What sets this cargo basket apart from the others is going to be, we do have some nice bars inside our cargo basket, and that's going to be used for two different things. Some customers use it just to divide their bulky items, just to kind of get it a little bit more organized.











Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Suburban we're test fitting the Let's Go Arrow Gear Cage. The part number for that is HCR222. It's 48 by 32 inches. So the first thing we're gonna do is go ahead and take some measurements here. Our ground clearance is gonna be right here under the carrier. We're gonna be about 20 and half inches there. Overall we're adding about 42 and a half inches to the back of the vehicle, and then our closest point is gonna be about 8 and a quarter inches to each of these side rails here.



Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Suburban, we are test fitting the detail K2 folding cargo carrier. The dimensions are 20 by 60 with a 500 pound weight capacity and the part number for that is K2HCC602. Now, we're going to first start off by taking some measurements here. Our ground clearance is going to be about 22 and a half inches. Our overall to the back of the vehicle, adding about 35 inches. Then our closest point with it in the road ready position is going to be about 14 inches there. While we're back here we're going to check our hatch clearance. The hatch does break over the carrier, we have a break over point of about 18 inches there.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Suburban, we are test fitting the 48 by 21 MaxxTow Cargo Carrier. It has a 500 pound capacity and this is designed to work with 2 inch hitches. The part number for that is MT70422. The first thing we are going to do with the cargo carrier is take a few measurements. We'll do our ground clearance first to the bottom under here, it's going to be about 22 inches. And then overall to the vehicle, we're adding about 28 1/2 inches there. And our closest point will be about 6 inches. Now, a great feature of this cargo carrier is that it does allow you full access to the back hatch of your vehicle.



Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Suburban, we are test-fitting the Stromberg Carlson 23x60 Cargo Carrier. It has a 500 pound weight capacity, and the part number for that is CC-100. The first thing we're going to do is take a couple of measurements. Our ground clearance will be first. We're going to go from the bottom of this bolt down here. We're going to have about 20-1/2 inches there.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Suburban were test fitting the curt folding 20 by 60 cargo carrier, part number for that is C18151, and it has a capacity to hold up to 500 pounds. The first thing were going to start with are our measurements here. Well head into out ground clearance, were going to have about twenty three inches in ground clearance there. Overall to the back of the vehicle were adding about thirty five inches, and our closest point its going to be about thirteen and a quarter inches there. Now we do have a lot of clearance with our hatch opening, well go ahead and check break over point here, well about sixteen and a half inches there. Now with the Suburban we do have an automatic hatch, we have turned ours off because we just want to make sure that you carefully stack any materials that youre going to have on our carrier that way.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Suburban we are test fitting the Curt 20x60 Cargo Carrier. It has a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number for that is C18150. The first thing we're going to do with the cargo carrier is take a few measurements here. Our ground clearance will be first. It's got about 25" there of ground clearance. That's because we have this raised shank in the back which is going to lift that cargo carrier up even higher than that ground.



Curt 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Suburban we're test fitting the curt folding 24 by 60 cargo carrier, part number C18153. Has a 500 pound weight capacity on this cargo carrier. Now, the first thing we're going to do is take some measurements here. So, we'll do our ground clearance first, we've got about 25 1/2 inches of ground clearance. It's because we've got this nice raised shank back here in the back, so it's going to lift that cargo carrier up even higher than the back of your vehicle. Overall we're adding about 42 1/4 inches to the vehicle. Our closest point, the raised shank is going to be about 4 inches away from the vehicle and the actual cargo carrier is going to be about 16 1/2.



Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Suburban

Today, on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban, we'll be doing a test fit of the Lets Go Aero, cart gear cage cargo carrier. Part number HCR222. That's for 2 inch hitches only. You see that we already have it on our vehicle. It's made out of a steel and can hold up to 300 pounds. The dimensions I show are 48 long, 32 wide, and 7 inches deep. First measurement I would like to take, would be from the bumper, closest to our hitch, I mean to our cargo carrier. I'm looking approximately 8 and 3/4 of an inch.

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban, we'll be doing a test fit of the Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" hitches only. That part number is CC-100. You see that we already have it on our vehicle. The dimensions I have are 23" by 60" on the inside. I'm showing approximately 3" deep. Like I said this is made out of steel.

The first dimension wanted to tell you is dimension from the inside is 20 by 16. The rails are actually on the side wall over five and a half inches tall. It comes in steel, its steel made. Comes in a black coat for no rust or coercion, and holds up to 500 pounds.



Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Suburban

Today, on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban, we'll be doing a test fit of the Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches only. That part number is M2205. Surco Products 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban, we'll be test fitting the Surco Cargo Carrier. That's part number 52018. Now its dimensions are 24x60. It has a max capacity of 500 pounds and it's for 2 inch hitches only. We can go ahead and start by inserting our shank into our receiver and we are looking for our pin holes to line up. All right, once we have that, we can take our pin and clip and I would like to note that this carrier does not come with a pin and clip.

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban we will be test fitting the Pro Series Solo cargo carrier. That's part number PS1040100. Now this is for 2" hitches. Its dimensions are 31 by 47 and it has a max capacity of 400 pounds. We can go ahead and start by loading our shank into our receiver. We're looking for our pinholes to line up.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban we will be test fitting the MaxxTow aluminum cargo carrier. That's part number MT70108. Now its dimensions are 20 by 47, has a maximum capacity of 500 pounds, and it is for 2" hitches only. We can go ahead and start by loading our shank into our receiver. We're looking from our pinholes to line up. Once we have that lined up we can go ahead and take our included pin and clip.

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban we will be test fitting the MaxxTow cargo carrier. That's part number MT70107. Now its dimensions are 17 by 50 and it has a max capacity of 500 pounds. It's for 2" hitches only. We can go ahead and start by inserting our shank into our receiver. We're looking for our pinholes to be lined up.

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban we will be test fitting this CURT cargo carrier. That's part number C18145. It has dimensions of 17 by 46. Has a max capacity of 500 pounds. It can be used for 2" hitches as well as 1-1/4". We can go ahead and start by inserting our shank into receiver.



Rola Dart Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban we will be test fitting the Rola Dart folding cargo carrier. That's part number 59550. Now its dimensions are 23 by 56. It's for 2" hitches only and it has a max capacity of 450 pounds. We can go ahead and start by loading it into our receiver. We're looking for our pinholes to be lined up.
