Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2014 Chevrolet Sonic

Today, on our 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Rooftop Cargo Basket, part number RMCB. This is a steel cargo basket, and it's great for keeping your luggage, camping gear, sporting goods equipment, anything you want to keep out from the inside and make more space for the inside. It has a carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although, you want to double check with your vehicle's manual, to make sure it can withstand that weight. It's very easy to install. It simply just clamps onto the roof rack of your vehicle. We'll show you how that goes on. Now, we already placed the bottom half of our top bracket on here, and it just fits in between these 2 bars.

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Sonic

Today on our 2013 Chevy Sonic, well be test fitting the Curt 20x48 Cargo Carrier, part number C18145. Now to begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pinholes, thread our anti-rattle bolt through the pinholes and tighten with a wrench. Now well go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements to see the cargo carrier and this vehicle will fit together. There is about 11 inches of ground clearance from the rear of the carrier. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about three inches. Weve added a total of 22 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicles exhaust tip is about nine inches apart.
