The hitch sensor functions great. The plastic cover, not so much, When using a trailer hitch , the cover does not flex up enough and has snapped off breaking the plastic hinge. This happened going over a dip where the truck and trailer did a V while going across. Since then the hitch cover has been ripped off by a car wash. Because of the broken clip. Both clips are broken and I must remove and store the cover while using a hitch.

Etrailer delivered as described. I chose the Curt over others as I did not want to splice wires. Splices may develop problems in time and in this day and age of plug and play i thought it’s a better solution. My only concern is that running through a car wash might cause problems with the flip up hitch cover being torn off. Time will tell.

Good looking hitch cover, has some foam to prevent rattle. Will look good on my black 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500.
Ive had this hitch on my truck for a year now. Its been through many car washes in the summers and two Iowa winters.The finish still looks great, the hitch is solid w no rattling, and I expect it to last much longer.Go Tigers!

A well-designed product that fixes the multi-tailgate issue with the trailer hitches installed so that you don't smash in your tailgate. This was the best system in my opinion as you don't have to cut or splice any wires. Takes a little bit of effort to install but well worth it.
It works great. Im glad that I purchased this product. All of the connections using factory wiring and no splicing.

This cover is much nicer than my previous one, which disintegrated after 16 years. In addition to keeping my receiver clean and dressing up my truck, the Prop is very useful in locating "the spot" in my too-short garage. I put some "Locktite" on the assembly screws.

The black finish looks really great with the red and black color scheme of my 2020 Explorer. Unfortunately the Matte Black finish is peeling off. Yes, I take it through the car wash and I live where they salt the roads. OEM-quality parts should stand up to these conditions. I will be looking to see how bad or good this hitch cover looks once all the black finish comes off.

You might want to think about adding two or three inches of wire to the connector. I want to hide as much wire as possible and with my current product , it's stretch to the limit and the wire seems to be coming loose from the epoxy. Unless you install the harness outside the bumper(which looks like hell) the harness is to short. I have a 2013 Silverado LTZ If you change this, feel free to send me one. Other than that, it's a great piece!
