Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
It's a pretty strong ,heavy-duty bike rack. A little awkward sliding bikes over the support mounts, but I like it. I feel confident the bikes are secured.
I had purchased this Thule Bike Rack which holds 4 bikes from etrailer.com and am very pleased with this product. I purchased on 6/12/16 and requested 3-5 business day delivery and it was delivered promptly on 6/17/16 to our home. the package arrived safe and sound with no damage in a bog box. I easily assembled it and put it easily into the class III hitch that I also bought from etrailer. I have our local mechanic shop install the hitch for me and they offered to help me put the bike rack together as well and put is on my car. I have a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. The bike rack has pins in the top and bottom and you take the one out as well as the hook that goes over the pin to lock into place and then you can fold down the bike rack to gain access to your trunk. On the top, there is a pin that you remove as well as the hook that locks the pin in place and you then can lift the arm to place your bikes. You use the rubber straps that come with the bike to hook onto the arms. I also use bungee cords and put them through the spokes of the bikes to keep the wheels from moving. I would definitely recommend the bike rack.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I bought this Swagman XTC-2 hitch bike rack , a year ago and still loving it. Very good quality and fits perfect for 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I use it for 2 bikes all time time. No issues on the Freeway as well.
Just received my bike rack, and I couldn't be more pleased. Sturdy, bikes fit nicely, and I feel secure with them loaded onto the 2" hitch of my Santa Fe. I found that I optionally can use the tire rubber snubbers, but for short distances, I will probably not. Loading is straight forward and surprisingly easy. Thanks.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
This bike rack is great. It's easy to install and I love that's its collapsible.
I purchased this bike rack with the hitch for my Hyundai Sante Fe. I had originally tried the strap style bike rack and it did not work well with the small spoiler in the back of my SUV. The hitch and rack system is very secure, the bikes didn't move at all as we drove. The rack is much lighter than my neighbor's (which has the center bar style), so I can maneuver this easily myself. One great feature is that when the rack is empty, the center bar folds over and you can get into the back hatch of your SUV. Very easy to set up, use and remove. High quality and good value - I highly recommend this product!

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
etrailer was the best place to search for carrier options and led me to the Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount - TH911XT, which was just what I was looking for. etrailer pointed me to the right product at the right price and had the customer support options I needed. I highly recommend
So far, so good. The bike rack was fairly easy to put on my wife's Hyundai Santa Fe; & everything seemed to stay where it belongs on the trip to Pizza Hut for supper tonight. The "roll up excess strap" instruction didn't happen (How do you roll it up & keep it rolled up?). We'll see how it works on our trip to the beach this coming week for our anniversary.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
etrailer has the best pre- and post-sales customer service I've ever seen! I started out not knowing anything about hitch-mounted racks. So I wrote to etrailer telling them about my car and type of hitch I was about to have installed. Samuel wrote back with lots of great information tailored specifically to my car. He even included a photo that looked just like my 2017 white VW GTI with a hitch and rack installed. Okay something of a coincidence. But the rest of the assistance I got from the crew at etrailer was just as prophetic. I went into this a novice and came out knowing lots more about hitches and racks and finding the rack best suited to my situation. I have a small car, a class 1 hitch and a heavy mountain bike. I got exactly what I needed. As to the Swagman rack itself, it works fine. If I had a different situation I would probably buy a platform rack as they are easier to load. There's no reason to buy a bike rack anywhere else.
First off, thanks to Jason T. or "Troop". The exemplary customer service he provided is rare these days. Troop made several calls to the various manufacturers to ascertain which bike rack would afford me the most ground clearance as my new VW Golf sits low to the ground and my old bike rack frequently scraped the ground when I went up even a slight up hill grade. His efforts paid off as he found me the best bike rack for my car, the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Carrier. It sits up off the ground just high enough that it doesn't scrape on my driveway. It is also sturdy and holds my bikes securely. And, the delivery was amazingly fast. I had my rack in about 2 days! Note to Troop, see my Pittsburgh Pirates Logo on my bumper in the attached pictures? Pirate Fans persevere! The Bucco's will be coming after your Cardinals this year! Thanks again Troop!

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
etrailer, Thank you for your fantastic service. Very impressed with your website and service from beginning to end. We are very pleased with our new Yakima bike rack and the Malone bike adapters. We had our first outing today and was soooo pleased with how the rack mounted and held our bikes perfectly in place. All down to your great descriptions, videos and car match info. Attached are some photos of our bike on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Many thanks again,
Perfect for my 2019 RAV-4. I like this product because it allows me to drive and park without having to worry about height clearances in the city and parking was still navigable. Definitely worth the money!

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
If you've done any research or read any of the other comments on either this rack, or this seller...rest assured they really are as good as everyone says! I ordered my rack on around 4pm est on a Friday afternoon and within an hour I received an email that said they have shipped my product AND upgraded to priority shipping. Can't say enough positive things about the customer service! When the rack arrived, it took me a little over half an hour to get it set up. Probably would e been faster if I were even slightly mechanically inclined (or if didn't I didn't have to borrow a socket wrench from my neighbor). We finally had an opportunity to load up the bikes and head out for a ride today. As others have said, the first time you load up your bikes, it's kind of like a puzzle to get them situated. Took about 15 minutes. This rack is awesome! Very sturdy and the bikes were very secure. Only racks I have had in the past were rooftop fork mount racks. This is so much easier! On e we got to the trail (over an hour drive) getting the bikes off was a piece of cake. Afterwards, it was time to load them back up and it was less than 5 minutes to get them all on and ready to hit the road. There were other 4-bike racks on the website, but this one had enough great reviews that I felt comfortable making the purchase. After the fact, I'm very glad I did! I can't imagine the $800 rack can be that much better than this, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4-bike platform rack. I will definitely recommend this rack and etrailer.com to everyone I know.
Loads and unloads bikes super fast, and holds them firm. Wish I would have purchased this a long time ago instead of struggling with my old frame mount rack. I actually ride more because I don't dread having to load. Adjusts to different bikes easily. Time will tell if the fittings, springs, straps hold up to weather (I leave it on car). It is fairly large and heavier than the more expensive 4 bike racks (it's mostly steel vs. composite plastic), so if you are going to take it off hitch and store it - be prepared. Only recommendation I have is to add softer foam on the frame bar for traveling on rough roads.

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Check out my other review on the hidden hitch for a 2015 BMW 4 Series for the majority of the review, but this thing is great. Easy setup and install, does all the things it's supposed to do. Mounting and removing bikes is a snap with the included clips (big difference from some of the cheaper variants with nylon ratchet straps). Fits very snugly in my 2" receiver, and pretty solid on the highway and over bumpy roads.
The rack itself is fantastic. Not too heavy, easy to attach to hitch, and very easy setup. The only real downside is if your bicycles don't have a standard frame, you'll need to buy the Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bars (~$50 each) in order to be able to mount them on the rack. I will say that smaller bikes (for my 9 year old) can be a challenge to mount with larger bikes as you'll need to finagle the handle bars and such to get them to line up but once you do it a few times you figure it out.

Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Works like a charm..!! Easy to install..!! Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2017
Highly recommend the Swagman Chinook Bike Rack! I have been using mine regularly during the last year and have had no issues. It's easy to attach and remove from my Honda CR-V. It's very sturdy and doesn't shift or 'bounce' around when I'm driving.

Kuat Beta Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Trailer Hitches - Tilting
It was easy to put on our 2013 Lexus 450 hitch. Directions were clear. I liked the sturdiness of the carrier. Very solid with no wobble even over our Santa Fe, NM roads. I have included an extra mystery part picture. Let me know where it goes.
I am so happy I chose this rack. As described, this rack is lightweight. For me this was a major concern due to limited strength. If I can lift it then most anyone can. It is well made and sturdy and looks heavier than it is. When folded, it takes up very little space. It will fit in the back of an SUV or trunk. Due to this design and lightweight it is easy to put in the hitch receiver. Even if I only use it to get the bike to and from the bike shop it is well worth it. Can't go wrong.

Yakima FullSwing Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Swing Away
Installation today was pretty straight forward. We had no problems. It may require two people to install the bike rack onto the hitch because it is pretty heavy. But, as a 41 yo woman I was able to attach the bike rack to the hitch by myself. We haven't used it yet to transport our bikes, but I imagine that will be seamless too.
This is the best rack I’ve seen or used for being able to have full access to the trunk / back hatch of the vehicle. That said, it is very heavy and an awkward shape so storing it when not in use is no treat if you’re short on space. All in all, probably the best rack I’ve seen.

Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
Assembled this in 60 minutes! Looking forward to using it this weekend. Working with etrailer was awesome and the item quickly shipped. Great experience!
I installed this rack onto a Curt trailer hitch which is mounted onto a 2017 Honda Fit. I have been using it intermittently for several months, probably about 5 times with one bike and twice with two bikes. I give some pros and cons below and then elaborate. Pros: easy to assemble, easy to mount and dismount bikes, easy to lock and unlock, how to put the rack into different positions is intuitive Cons: inconvenient to put the rack into different positions, inconvenient to mount the rack onto the hitch, rack protrudes about 15 inches from bumper when in flipped up position (seems very vulnerable to someone backing into it in a parking lot, very inelegant looking I say the repositioning is intuitive because there is really only one way you could possibly place the pins for each position. But removing and replacing two pins is much less convenient than turning a knob or a lever, like some racks do. Also many racks fold and flip in such a way as to look very unobtrusive when in non-use mode. This one looks like kind of a monstrosity. That does not really bother me but it might bother some owners. The part that does bother me is how far it protrudes from the car. I back into parking spaces whenever possible to avoid someone bumping into the rack and damaging it (which happened to a friend). My number one suggestion for Curt is related to mounting the rack onto the hitch. Make it easier to tell when the holes are lined up so that the bolt/pin will fit and thread. As it is now, if you insert the rack as far as it can go it is way too far in. Ideally, it would be exactly lined up. Failing that, maybe some kind of click or other feedback to know at least that you are in the neighborhood. It would also be great to have an attaching device that is easier to fasten and unfasten than is the bolt/pin. Tip for mounting the rack onto the hitch: I assumed that it would be awkward to hold, what is it 46 pounds?, while trying to line up the rack probe with the receiver. If you have a garage with exposed collar ties, my solution could work well for you. I looped a cargo strap over a collar tie. Then I hooked both hooks of a bungie onto that loop. The idea is that you hook one of the bike frame holders of the rack onto the bungie, suspending the rack a few inches off the garage floor. This takes most of the weight of the rack so that you can just pull up or down and forward until you line up with the receiver. Tip for mounting bikes. Don't put the little screw into the post that prevents you from completely removing the bike frame holders. Remove both holders. Position the first bike, slide the holder into place, position the second bike, slide the holder into place. I found this makes it much easier, because you avoid parts of the bike hitting the holder as you are trying to get the wheels into place. The trick is that if you are mounting only one bike, don't forget to put the second holder back on - or maybe just stick it inside the car right away.

Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
The products ordered through Etrailer were of good quality. The company was prompt with their sending procedures. Also, if I had questions they answered them immediately. In addition, I had an out of stock order that was sent to me as soon as their stock was re-supplied. The customer service people were great. I would deal with this company anytime with faith that they have reliable products and good service.
Works well for transporting two 29" wheeled mountain bikes. However, after one year it's starting to rust in several areas (see attached photos), and the front wheel arms are becoming increasingly difficult to raise and lower. Finally the locking cable is extremely rusty as you can see in the attached photo. I'm not sure how durable this rack will be long term.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
This is a very solid product! I have used it for over a year now and love it! I have had up to 3 bikes on this without a problem and have traveled over 8 hours in the car one way with absolutely no issues. Many other bike racks like this one that I see on other cars look unstable this is not unstable in anyway. I did have to file some of the paint off of the rack to get it to fit in my 1 and 1/4" hitch but once that was done it has been perfect. I also bought the locking hitch bolt which is awesome too.
The good: Solid, heavy construction. Easy to use method for attaching the bikes. Includes adapter for different type / size hitches. Fairly easy to swing out of the way for hatch access (although it is heavy). Plenty of room between carrier and rear of vehicle. The meh: Requires the use of anti-rattle bolt. This means that one must carry a socket wrench to install and remove the carrier. Should use a torque wrench. The bad: Instructions are awful. To assemble, "only one bolt needs to be installed", but the photos are so poor that they are useless. Does not say that a second bolt has to be tightened. Pin and pin locks cannot be used because the anti-rattle threads cannot be removed and are too small diameter for a pin. Recommended Swegman anti-rattle lock is too long to fit on some factory hitches such as Jeep Grand Cherokee. Bike strap and connectors make placing the bike on the inside holder a chore.

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2019 Hyundai, Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro platform style bike rack. The rack that we have here today is a two bike version, but there's also a one bike version available as well. But with that being said, one of the things that really separates this platform style rack compared to some of the others, is that it uses two wheel hooks, one on each tire. So, that's going to work out really well for those of you that have those carbon fiber bikes, you won't have to worry about any frame contact. Now, a lot of times with platform racks, when you get a couple of bikes on them, you run into the issue of putting that second bike on there and having interference with your seat, the second bikes handlebars can get jammed up and it can be a real hassle sometimes. That's not going to be the case with this one and that's because we're able to offset our bike. So if loosen up our wheel hooks a little bit, you're actually able to roll the bike one way or another, and clamp it back down.
Rola Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe
Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019, Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at the Rola TX-102 Bike Rack. Now, I really like when a bike sits on the rack. It's going to be high enough off the ground, but we don't have to worry about anything down there, but it's not just set up so high that it's going to block, or obstruct the view of the back window.Your bike's is going to be held in place at three spots. We're going to have two straps, here on the top tube, and a strap down here. And this will act as anti-sway strap and that'll help prevent any bike to bike contact.
Reese Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe
Ryan: How's it going. Ryan here at etrailer.com today. Today on our 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe we're going to be taking a look at the Reese hitch mounted three bike rack, which is also available in a two bike, as well as a four-bike version. One of the things I really like about the rack is how simple it is to use. It's going to hold our bike down here in two spots, using hook and loop straps. So we'll go ahead and take it off. Take a better look at the rack itself.
Yakima LongHaul 4 Bike Rack Review - 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe
How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima LongHaul four bike rack. Now the rack is going to hold a total of up to four bikes and each bike is going to be held down in three spots. You're going to have two, if you're on the top two, and one down here. And this one down here is going to act as a anti-sway and that's going to help eliminate any movement and prevent any bike to bike contact. We're also going to have a integrated lock that swings out from the back, up and over all your bikes, and clips on here to help prevent any theft.

RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe
Robby: Robby here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the RockyMounts Westslope platform style two bike rack on our 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. Our RockyMounts Westslope is going to allow us to carry two bikes to and from the trail and alleviate the problem of trying to get all the bikes inside of our Santa Fe. And since it's a platform style rack, what that means is it's going to hold our bike, but it's not going to have any frame contact at all. So we don't have to worry about scratching the finish, and it's going to be great for those road bikes that have those carbon frames. It'll secure the back tire using wheel strap to hold it in place. And on the front it's going to use this wheel spoke, so it's only going to be contacting the tire. One of the really nice things about the platform style rack too, is if we need to get in the back hatch, we can actually tilt the bike rack away without removing the bikes.
Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack Review - 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe
Rob here at etrailer.com. And today, you're going to be taking a look at the Thule Camber hanging style two-bike rack. Now our Camber's going to allow us to carry two bikes. Go out to the campground. Go to the trail. And we can take our bikes with us.
Thule Camber 4 Bike Rack Review - 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe
Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Camber hanging-style four bike rack on our 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. Now our Thule bike rack is going to allow us to carry up to four bikes with us so we can take our family, our kids, our friends with us and we're not going to take several different vehicles. Now since this is a hanging style bike rack, it's going to hold our bike at three different points. We'll have two on the top cross tube here. And then we're also going to have one on the vertical support and that's going to be our anti-sway. It's going to prevent the bike from rocking back and forth too much and making bike-to-bike contact. But let's go ahead and remove the bike and take a closer look.If we come to the straps here, we just push on the tab and pull the straps out.

It's going to be very easy to handle, be able to install it in your hitch and get it out when you're done using it.It's just going to make for a lot less hassle. You're not going to have to worry about straining your back like some of those heavier platform racks that you might encounter. Now, the hanging style rack holds the bike at three different points.
