Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Roller - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs
This is my first hitch. I decided to go this route after finding out the dealership wanted over 1500 to install rails hitch and plug. Install was not too aweful bad I did the install in about 4 hours of everything. I took my time so nothing would be screwed up. The install videos where awesome and very discriptive.
The unit was as described and installed without a hitch (no pun intended). This unit went into a new GMC 1500 and we did not have to cut anything to install the mounting bolts -- but it was a bear to get the nuts on the bolts and then tighten. I used a universal (free) installation kit and we had to weld the braces to the frame. eTrailer always delivers on time and so far always with the correct product - wouldn't think of going to any other company.

Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 13,000 lbs
Wow, where to begin. I can't imagine towing a 5th wheel trailer in a shorter bed truck without an autoslide setup. After the initial install I noted on the 2nd(?) trip a clunking noise during acceleration after a stop - a couple emails back and forth with Demco support, as well as a quick phone call, and it was all sorted out (user error) with no further issues - Thank you Demco! I tow a short & light Jayco 5th wheel with a 1/2 ton shortbed and having the ability to drive, turn, and park the camper without having to get out of the truck to manually engage or disengage a slide on the hitch has made for much more relaxing weekends away. The Hijacker autoslide gives PLENTY of space between the camper and cab and I've never had to worry, but I did my homework and ran the numbers well before I purchased my hitch so I wasn't surprised. I would say the only downside for me would be the weight and bulkiness of the hitch. Not having the means to easily remove and store it between trips, the hitch is forced to live in the bed of the truck right now, but I did know about the weight going into the purchase. All in all, for the peace of mind the Demco autoslide gives me, I'd spend the money all over again.

Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 18,000 lbs
Demco auto slide hitch works very well with my crew cab short bed Ram. Fits under my tonneau cover nicely. Trouble free thus far. Had to purchase a Demco plate for the camper to make the Rhino box hitch work. etrailer personnel were great in helping ensure I had the right products and kept me well informed of shipping dates.
My wife and I are full-time RVers, and have used this slider hitch from the get-go while traveling around seeing the country over the past year. We are happy with our purchase, which has proven to be both easy to hook up, adjust, and functions well, as advertised. The only matter I think you may want to address are the thick plastic removable maintenance access covers which tend to bow, and the areas around the attachment holes have melted, in the hot weather. Perhaps instead using a light metal for the covers would be better solution. We are very happy overall with this hitch, and plan to keep it . Thank you.

B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs
It came complete and was as described. I haven't used it yet so I can't give it a five star.
From the start, the folks at etrailer were very courteous and helpful. I called many times during the decision making process and everyone was always right there to help. When I finally decided to purchase the B&W 18K Patriot w/slider Bailey was there to help with the order. She explained the free freight shipping and it was a done deal. It arrived 1 day earlier than stated, as soon as I opened the cartons it was in fact the good ol' American made quality I was accustomed to growing up. I proceeded to install on the B&W rails I purchased and installed locally on my 2022 F250 Lariat/ Tremor.I had a small hick- up with the install and etrailer gave me B&W's # as they like to handle issues themselves. Stephanie at B&W was just as courteous. Overall a very pleasant experience. The Patriot was basically plug and play. I then connected my 2021 Grand Design 303RLS Reflection and rolled down yhe road. What a smooth and quiet ride, loved it! I would definitely recommend etrailer and their products. Thank you all that helped.

Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs
Locking mechanism for slide is loose and of poor quality causing alot of chucking in the hitch when traveling down the road. The safety indicator shows green and red at the same time. I would not recommend,
Delivery was on time, very good price. In the past when I had a problem with an item I got good service they make sure I was happy. THANK YOU ETRAILER

B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs
This is my first fifth wheel so I’m not sure what to expect out of a hitch. This hitch has worked flawless. I have a 2019 Chevy 3500hd pulling a 42 foot 12500 pound camper empty. It’s quiet and smooth. I have pulled it over my local train tracks and through the mountains of Tennesse without an issue. I have nothing bad to say about this hitch it does what I need it to do!! I will say I’m fairly particular about the equipment I buy, you get what you pay for, and this hitch has not let me down. I have done every thing from 100 mile weekend trips to a 1500 mile vacation with out an issue. You can separate it into two parts for a easy removal, if necessary, with the removal of a couple pins. This product doesn’t need pictures to show you what it does. If I ever get another truck I will be using a B & W hitch!!!

The hitch arrived a day earlier than expected. It came in two cartons, well packed and in excellent shape. Each carton was about 70 pounds so be prepared to move them. I had access to a hand truck that made it much easier. The quality and overall construction looks to be top rate. Once everything was unpacked, assembly took 30 minutes, and installation of the base then the head took 10 minutes. Installed in the truck bed the hitch is rock solid when connected to the Ford puck system. I only had to adjust one of the four handles slightly to get it locked in. I'll be towing our 16k 5th wheel 1500 miles to Florida in a few weeks. Anxious to try it out.

Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Under Bed - 13,000 lbs
The hitch is great. I installed it myself and it worked very well pulling a 5th Wheel Trailer across the country last year. I have learned however that one must start out from corners slower to avoid a large "clunk" as the hitch slides in the frame per the inherent design. Great Product!

Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter - 20,000 lbs
We have the Anderson Hitch installed on our 2017 Ford SuperDuty and pull a Reflection 337RLS. We have traveled over 4,000 miles and have been extremely satisfied. The hitch allows plenty of clearance between 5th wheel, bed, and the truck cab. Hook-up and disconnect has always been easy, even with RV lots that were uneven dirt lots. I use Curt thin rubber sound dampeners (item 16900) and this provides a quiet, tight fit between the rails and hitch. Of course the light weight makes it easy to remove when not towing and less weight when you are towing. A great product for the right truck, trailer combination.
After receiving the kit i saw another one on the shelf at a local store. I noticed the one on the shelf had a steel ball cup mounted to it. Mine did not have that part. I called andersen and asked if the ball cup was available for purchase seperately. They told me no need to purchase bevause they will ship me one for free! Later on, i towed my trailer to a camp site and upon arrival i could not get the release pin to open to drop the trailer while we stayed in it. I called andersen and described the problem i had, they shipped a whole new block and cable assembly for free!! I am ver pleased with the product and also impressed with the level of customer service!

B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs
Hitch came in a certain days after order and in great condition. Hitch was easy to assemble and is the best 5th wheel hitch out there!! Definitely would recommend Only thing that was disappointing is I was excited to show it off because it is made in the USA but I had no sticker from manufacturer with brand or the famous “made in USA stickers”
Product is very well made. Glad I went with B and W Patriot Hitch. Once the bed rails were installed the rest was a breeze. Now it's time to get a 5th wheel and hit the open road. etrailer, my go-to website.

Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs
I bought a new trailer recently that weighs 16k and I just didn't feel secure using my Reese pro series 16k to Haul with. So I started looking at various hitches. I've had 3 other fifth wheel hitches in the past. All of them have been 15 and 16k models. What I never liked was the latching system. I've even had a trailer come out of the hitch due to a poor latching hook up. There wasn't an good way to lock the hitch. Some of it was my fault and some was a poor design. When I saw the Curt Q20 had a latch on the handle and also was color coded I was hooked. This hitch satisfied my want list. It arrived 4 days after I ordered it and like other comments I've read it was full of heavy duty staples. It was double packaged. There had to be over 50 staples. It was defiantly packaged securely. After dimantaling the packing I finally got to the hitch. There were a few scratches on the hitch from all the staples but a bit of black touch up paint took care of that. After all the hitch is going to be used and get scrached by me anyways. Four bolts and it was together. It fit perfictly it my existing rails. By the way it's heavier than my other hitches. I wound be apprehensive to pull my new trailer. If your looking for a great hitch at a great price you can't go wrong.
Unlike other reviews...I will say that my packages all arrived in perfect condition. (Boxes were all intact). Assembling the Q20 is a breeze and by all appearances this hitch certainly seems to be more than adequate for my needs. I haven't had a chance to actually use it yet...but from what I can tell, I certainly don't expect any issues. I like the way the hitch latches and unlatches, and that you can add a lock to prevent someone from opening the jaws while you are parked somewhere. I think the only thing I'll add is a lock in place of one of the pins...just to make it difficult for someone to remove and steal the hitch.

Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Single Jaw - 20,000 lbs
Tried to install this on a 2001 Chevy Silverado 3500, dual rear wheel, long bed, 4x4, diesel engine truck. The clamp style mounting simply does not work. The ONLY way I can see this working is by drilling added holes in the frame of the truck at the front end of the side plates. This is because of a bend in the frame at the clamp location. Also at this location the frame is boxed in and any bolt holes will be hidden. Bolts would have to fished in with bolt wires.
I am very pleased with my purchase of the Reese M5, a major improvement over my old receiver. Great service from etrailer as well.
