So it just tells you your truck shows you the product and I order 6k worth of items without putting in the custom specs that you don't know to hit. Somehow with the info I put in my two other products work but this one doesn't and I have to pay for shipping to this to fix it. We have the Anderson Hitch installed on our 2017 Ford SuperDuty and pull a Reflection 337RLS. We have traveled over 4,000 miles and have been extremely satisfied. The hitch allows plenty of clearance between 5th wheel, bed, and the truck cab. Hook-up and disconnect has always been easy, even with RV lots that were uneven dirt lots. I use Curt thin rubber sound dampeners (item 16900) and this provides a quiet, tight fit between the rails and hitch. Of course the light weight makes it easy to remove when not towing and less weight when you are towing. A great product for the right truck, trailer combination.

I have ran a cheap competitor hitch for several years. A manufacturing defect (welded pivot pin) caused the hitch to fail and resulted in 18000$ damage to my truck and trailer. I chose the Curt 25000# hitch after much research and found it to be very well made and clearly shows when it is properly coupled. I recently purchased a Reese M5 20K hitch for my new Silverado 3500HD, Crew Cab, 8’ bed. As usual, Etrailer pricing was very good and with free shipping to boot. The hitch arrived via UPS in just a few days after placing the order. Following the detailed instructions provided by Reese, the install into the factory “puck” system, was fairly straight forward. However, a word of caution concerning the install. There are 4 15/16” bolts that need to be torqued to 220-foot pounds and are somewhat difficult to get to. Fortunately, I was able to borrow a torque wrench that would accommodate the recommended foot pounds of torque. Also, you may have an issue if you need to place the hitch at its highest position. The release handle might protrude above the bed rails of your truck in this position. This will be a problem if you have a bed cover. Reese is/was well aware of this issue and sells an after-market handle that will correct this issue. Etrailer lists this handle on their Web page.

Installed in a 2018 GMC 3500 LB SRW Overall it was really easy to put together. Its light enough move in and out and very sturdy. I did not have a clearance issue with the Backflip cover regarding the stock handle. See pics. Just a heads up, I had an issue with the threading in the legs, etrailer was very understanding and sent me out replacements supper fast. I contacted Reese regarding paint guncked up in the threading and they were aware of the issue, they recommended running a wire brush or a tap to clean it out.

Today on our 2015 GMC Sierra 2500, we're going to be taking a look at the inaudible 00:00:04 hijacker auto slide fifth wheel trailer hitch. Part number DM850034.This hitch is going to provide you with 18,000 pounds gross weight rating, it's going to give you 14 inches of travel to the very back, it's going to have a single jaw system which makes for a tighter fit around your king pin.To activate the jaw system, when hooking up to your trailer, you simply pull the safety pin and clip, slide your handle out, and you'll see how the draw spreads apart. Once you lock the handle open, when you back your king pin in, or back up to your trailer, it's going to spread this apart just a little bit. What it's going to do, it's going to put pressure on this side, which is going to release the handle lock and allow the jaw to close.You're going to have guide rails here and that's what sets this apart from others. These guide rails can be adjusted depending on the size of your pin box. All you would do is once you have your pin box, or you're attached to your fifth wheel, you're going to take these rails, going to loosen them up, slide them in, up against your pin box and then tighten them back into place.
